i might be saying this waaaayyy too late but the camera button is "hard to press" because it is actually two buttons. Click it down once and hold to focus the image then click down fully to take the picture

I have a question- when you showed the Galaxy Note- the first time that you showed it, it was the sprint model- if that is true, I don't know if the sprint LTE network is currently analogous to the At&t version.

How's the keyboard and texting functions. Will my fingers be too big, is there an auto correct function?
one note about the camera button, its a TWO click button meaning that a light click will make the camera lens focus, and a full click will make it take the picture... thats something important that i didn't know at first either

Wow. Your's is the only review that I found so far that actually starts with the call quality of the phone. Screen and gadgets aside, people forget that these are primarily made to make phone calls. If all you want to do is watch movies and play games from your phone, then you have too much time on your hands.

Hey people im stuck between the white and cyan version i want the white cause it looks cool and im gettin a matching white headset but the cyan stands out and doesnt have a glossy finish which one should i get?
i want to know about whatsaap app, is it showing delay while you load the app? i was going through some vids.. and i found out that the win phone 7.8 wasn't that good when it came to launching whatsaap!
The battery percentage can be found in the settings menu.
I really think this may be the next phone for me. It looks so sleek and the OS looks so easy to use. My only issue right now is the small app store hmmm....

the nokia i have it but when the battery sais 'criticly low' the screen has a mind of its own. Any solutions ?
im not mistaken the camera button is a 2 stage button which is why u have to give it a hefty push because a half push focuses the camera
oh really? When is that update being loaded and is the update is compatible with the single-core Lumia 900?

I love nokia phones . I still have my 7 year old nokia and it still works even after being dropped dozens of time. I still use it as a back up. Cant wait for the Lumias

i think the camera button needing a "really solid push" is a good thing. when i had a nokia n95 8gb pulling my phone in and out of my pocket it would sometimes trigger the camera button a lot
The improvements from NL900 to NL920. That's real innovation.
I hope your right about that. Also i'm stuck between the new nokia 920 and htc 8x. What would you reccomend and why?
you find out the battery % on the settings. it gives you an estimated time for how long you have left in the way you are using at the moment.
Thats the Lumia 920, releasing in about two weeks. It charges wirelessly, so instead of bothering with cords you just place it on top of a charging pillow (or other product) and it charges automatically. Thats one of many awesome features, you should check it out more.
how is it? im thinking of getting the next windows phone/ surface/ or galaxy note 2
No expandable memory was a OS-Wide limitation until recent updates, I believe there was only a couple of phones released with the ability to use expandable storage
so if you cannot charge it with the power off, what do you do if the phone battery goes completely dead?
would u recomend this over htc one x?

Did you know about the double clicking the home button on the lock screen reveals the music controls? What about the fact that you can use triple click by turning it on in the settings? Most likely not. You can't figure everything out about it in 30 seconds. You can understand the basics of it pretty quickly, but you can do that on Windows Phone as well. You need to play with it for a while to notice all the hidden features that makes the device amazing.
Best, most honest unbiased review out there.
How do you create your presentations?
Presonally I dont actually know much about Siemens, but Nokia was demonstrating touchscreen interfaces as early as 1996. Nokia 7710 in 2004 was fullscreen touch on top of Symbian, three years before the iPhone
apparently, rds also allows mp3s to be played through a car's stereo head unit. The phone mp3 needs to have a transmitter and, I'm told that if a phone has rds it has a transmitter, same hardware, I've heard over and over. This means that you don't need to take out your quality head unit simply to replace it with bluetooth accessibility. It could be that bluetooth is really just a money spin. Always appreciate all input and if you know that I'm wrong on this I'm happy to listen and learn.
can you use social networking on this like on an iPhone?
I just got the white version a few days ago, and I love it! I don't have an issue with the resolution of text. It looks fine to me. One nit pick on your review is that you mentioned the camera button being very difficult to press. I have to disagree, its very easy to press. All of the buttons are easy to press; just a light click necessary. Maybe the white version is better built than the black and blue models?

yes it is auto correct function, also it have a speak to text function so if you dont want to type you can dictate the words and the phone will convert them into text message, also the facebook chat is integrated into messaging function so you can select how you want to contact a person, by facebook chat or by sms. the typing keyboard is pretty good.
You Didnt Show Us/Review The Inside As In Taking The Back Out So We See The Battery Compartment. (If It Has One, :p,,, But Nice Review Tho.. :)

I almost bought an iPhone at BestBuy for $199. As I was leaving the store I saw this on display for $99 and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I'm a member of Amazon Prime, so I always check for prices on-line. Amazon lists the phone for $49.99, but in my cart it was $39.99. I'm an existing ATT customer. Got the phone last night, and I played with it all day today non-stop, calls, text, Netflix, UA-cam, downloads, Zune player, FM Radio....etc. 12% battery at 8pm. It was a slow day!
If you don't mind the lack of customization and comparably smaller app store (100,000 apps), this phone is amazing. It makes good phone calls and it's really fast.

Very good video and a very nice phone especially at a $99.00 price point. Somewhat of a relief in the U.S. market, that's for sure. I can see WP gaining a lot of traction in the years to come. Updates are likely to refine the OS as well.

@jon4lakers, you can check the percentage of power left in the options menu. The same place where you can change the power settings.
Also you can use custom ringtones. However ringtones need to fit the requirements, one of them being that the song isn't longer than 40 or so seconds. Luckily there are many apps that have a huge library of ringtones. Just download a song from them and it will show up in your ringtone list.

so sry about that. But I keep getting an error when I try to post the URL. Is youtube blocking it? Just goto the amazon site (assuming USA) and do a search on Lumia 900. The black and cyan models will be 1st and 2nd on the search results. The phone price will vary depending on the carrier and plan. My price dropped to $40 after placing into my cart and chosing ATT upgrade. I hope this helps.

Is it possible to hook up with your house internet instead of paying a bill wo use their internet? Also if you download facebook as an app does that mean it's free from there on?

well yes i think that the wp interface is very intuitive and yes it should be within the network allowance.
The Nokia lumia 900 is broken from fabric it has a problem with the speaker if you turn the volume at max you'll start having problems with your back home and search buttons cuz the speaker is just behind them that's why they changed the position of it in the lumia 920.
Continuing, reminders and to do lists are also under the calendar. Messenger can be used for facebook chat. There is also local scout that uses your location and look for nearby restaurants and attractions. Apps are well integrated with each other, unlike the iPhone which does every app separately. The Lumia 900 has LTE which makes it one of the fastest phones, and with Windows Phone, one of the most fluid. There is also built in Office hub for Word, Excel, OneNote, and Powerpoint.

I bought myself an Xperia S today, so far I'm loving it. Takes AGES to make the UI look well and to uninstall applications is a chore compared to the iPhone. But I got 32GB's included storage, screen protectors, free HDMI cable and much much more in the box for only €430 whereas the iPhone was €800 and only included a charger and phone...

@keenkennyny-Actually it will be two years this October since windows phone was released. How far along was iOS and Android their first two years of release? If memory serves me right they weren't anywhere near where they are today.
