They always been buggy , but it seems I have less issues with the Hero 7 Black then newer ones. I wish they were quicker to start recording as well, but cool Action camera! Thanks for checking it out! I am currently using hero 8 black and batteries are becoming harder and harder to find. Ive tried a few of the after market brands and almost all over heat on me. I am probably going to give the DJI Osmo 4 a shot as my next action cam.
That typically depends on water depth. I am usually trying to stay 1-2 feet off the bottom of the lake, or if its weedy 1-2 feet off the tops of the weeds. I generally wont fish any deeper than 15' +/- or any shallower than 4' +/-. If I need to present my flies outside of that range I will use a different tactic.

My no 1 fly is a eggstacy worm sockeye pink usually 4ft below the indicator . Especially in winter

One of my favorite lakes. For some reason the trout are much stronger there. A 14 inch Rainbow fights like a 20.
