I’m so bored with all other fly fishing videos. I could watch Jordan all day. He is so informative in such an easy going explanatory way that is easily adaptable to many different communication types. Jordan makes me so excited to go fly fishing! I definitely need more fly fishing videos from him
Hi Jordan! A little over two years ago my boyfriend and I binged y'all's videos and successfully learned to spin fish for trout in the PNW 😁 After catching about ten in one day a couple weeks back, (black and gold PMs for LIFE 😂) we have finally decided we're ready, and bought our first fly rod today 😊 Couldn't be more excited to learn fly fishing from you! Thank you for everything- you and Addicted Fishing have brought so much joy to our lives. Keep up the good work, man!
He is trying to double haul, but it is absolutely crucial that you return your haul hand directly back to near your reel after your first haul, and prior to starting your second haul.
This is a very commom mistake with every starting fly caster. They are definitely not fly guys but regardless, these guys know how to get into fish. Really love this channel and appreciate these guys time and effort. Keep it up Addicted!
More fly fishing vids! I want to see a steelie caught on a fly!
It’s doable on a dry fly. Water temp must be high, early morning or under-shade, skate em.
Jordan, thank you so much. This was so helpful for our beginner flyfisherman. You’re amazing. Love you.
This video is what got me interested in trying out fly fishing. It's been 4 months since I bought my fly rod and I now find myself reaching for the fly rod more often and leaving the spinning rod home. Thank you jordan for inspiring me to start fly fishing!
I love the enthusiasm while you fish. I feel the same way when fly fishing. Especially when helping others learning to fish. Thanks for your info and knowledge of fly fishing.
Great video! I am an avid fisherman and do tons of trolling and ultra light fishing for trout, and tons of bass fishing. Just bought a fly rod so these videos are super helpful! Keep em coming
Glad to see a fly fishing a lake video.
Thanks man. Glad I found you.new to the fly and enjoy any info I can get especially in a mellow no nonsense presentation like this. And you caught fish. Cool
Awesome video! The exact instruction that I was looking for! That you Jordan!
I really have been trying to fly fish or learn more how to properly fly fish from stuff on U Tube, but not as successful as I would want to be. Thanks for these videos on fly fishing...they help a lot!!!
These fly fishing trout videos are great!
Wooly buggers. My favorite streamer, wet fly presentation. I do like sink tip lines with wooly buggers.
That was fun to watch. Thanks for the simplicity of the presentation
Your videos are so explanatory and interesting to learn from👌
Fly fishing is the best way to fish. Make more fly fishing vids!!
Thank you for the fly fishing tips addicted because I’m going fly fishing next week when fishing opens on Tuesday
Helpful tutorial on fishing woolly buggers! Looking forward to other clips.
Great informative video. More please for fly fishing on still waters.
You guys are tops. I’ve watched your videos for steelhead tips up here in Washington State and just now for another really cool take on fly fishing. Keep the expert advice and Addicted Ways coming on fly fishing and all other forms. Great to see your take on flies. Give us a stream fly fishing vid to get us all up in waders with no turning back.
This video is making me want to bust out the fly rods. Great job. You guys have inspired me to upload my fishing adventures. Keep up the great work and tight lines!
Wow, just checked out your trout video at offutt. Those fish were big. You have one more follower!
THANK YOU. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A VERY GOOD TUTORIAL VIDEO THAT ACTUAL GOES INTO DETAIL. THANKS FOR IN DEPTH AND SHOWING ALL ASPECTS AND SHOWING THE FLIES YOU USE. So many times they sorta tell the fly but do not show it up close or even tell the size. Stripping technique has often got me puzzled - now you took the guess work out of it. INCREDIBLE VIDEO. MAKE MORE. Would like to see a royal coachman video
Orvis fly fishing videos are what taught me to fly fish. This guy doesn’t know what color olive is 😂
I am totally beginner. and this video gave me many informations. I am off to fly fisherly tomorrow in north England.
Thanks for all the good tips guys
Love it when Jordan gets excited about a fish on his line…
i love when your videos are longer and show some actual fishing after the gear/technique explanation. please more!
Great instruction friend. Thank you kindly.

I just got back into fly fishing after over a decade and watched this to get up to speed and landed a decent rainbow yesterday on the river. what an absolute heart pounding thrill. reeling in a pissed off trout on a fly rod is a trip, it feels like pulling in a whale
Deadly video! I cant wait to do some fly fishing this year!
Outstanding this dude is a beast on all fishing levels.👍🏾
Cool video. Who doesnt love the wooley bugger?
Hey Jordan thanks for the info brother. Outstanding as always from Addicted Fishing

Nice job once again
Great video, thanks for sharing!!!!
Awesome video bud!
Love to see more fly fishing for steelhead and salmon!
Super entertaining and informative, Thanks,
Watching this as am doing the slow troll good job jordon!!
Excellent job on the video! Subscribed.
With roll casting, it really helps if you stop your rod tip eye level at the end of the motion. When you drop further than eye level you lose a little bit of the energy put into the line and gives you varied results.
More of this please!
My next step is fly fishing - thank you for covering all the angles of angling!
Loves the video great content and tips
I wanna try fly fishing. Please post more how to vids.
But honestly I love the content thank you to all of you addicted guys
Great vid..new to fly fishing..trying to learn..Yet to make a cast ..but your content is very helpful🤙🤙👌💪🎣🎣🎣
Love the private stocked lake.
It would be awesome to see more fly fishing stuff. Just started working on learning it myself. Starting with dry flies
I'm going fly fishing for salmon in a local river. Would love to see more fly fishing videos. Maybe even a tutorial on different styles of flies and good knots to use, casting techniques, etc.
In about 5 hours I’ll be trying this! Thank you, the videos are awesome!!
How'd it go?
No luck during this trip, but actually caught some fish on spinners. Tried it again another day and caught a nice one as well as some bass! Definitely something I'll keep doing in the future!
awesome stuff!
Jordan I love the videos man. You showed me 80% of what I know about trout fishing in all aspects. One thing I'm not sure of and that you didn't mention, are you using a tapered leader on your fly rod? I cast wet flies with 12' leaders on a 9' rod, but I taper my size of line from larger to smaller. It's more difficult yes, but I was wondering if you use straight up flouro in one diameter coming off the fly line?. Please make more videos on trout fishing in lakes. #ADDICTED
More fly fishing 🤘🏼
Jordan is the best friend I never met o.O
Your instruction is very good. The standard non roll cast works pretty well especially for new folks. Double haul is obviously better but sometimes baby steps.
When I teach my Vets to tie, I teach the Woolly Bugger, because no matter how tatty the first few turn out, they can still catch fish and simply by changing materials, they can adapt to different situations.
I have found that so many guys have trouble flexing their wrists, because they throw baseball's, footballs, the guys are used to forcing everything.
Women, you often have an advantage. We tease and say "You throw like a girl!!" But because many women have a stiffer throwing form, they usually learn a bit quicker. That and when I teach couples, the guys often think they don't need a bunch of help, whereas their partner or wife, she wants to be better than the guy, so she listens and asks question and learns quickly.
I am going to share your video with my new Vets Jordan. We got some tying lessons in just before the shutdown so I have been using UA-cam videos to teach from a distance. Great job!
Make more fly fishing videos, I love to to fly fish at the lakes.. it keeps you thinking of why you're not catching any and thats when you change your fly and all of a sudden you're schooling everyone at the lake lol!! 🎣🎣 #Addicted
So didnt that fish break you where the split shot had pinched your leader?
Good stuff right there 🤘
Awesome job
Jordan is one lucky man.
Just picked this hobbie up. I love it . I learned some fall tactics with strike indicators and sinking lines with boobies and dragon nymphs . can not wait to try this
You can also use a short furled sink leader with 5 ft. of tippett it's great for beginners.
Great video
Good vid. today. Palmer, AK
You should do a tutorial on nymph fishing with an indicator out of your raft. Or drift boat. And some hopper dry fly on an Oregon river in the desert.
Need more fly fishing video for us old beginners
Hell yes!
thanks man.
More Fly Fishing!!
Holy piggy trout! I wish I catch a piggy trout soon for my channel!
Not long started back with the fly fishing
Two of my uncles and aunts live on that lake and we always have luck there. We always catch lots of fish with wooly buggers.
I actually really enjoy fly fishing. I'm still pretty new to it. So I definitely catch more on a spinning rod. The motion and finesse in fly fishing though is really fun. Your fly fishing videos arnt boring either lol
I would love to have a hat or window decal!
Very informative, great video , would love to do a colab
More fly fishing 👍
This is really informational. Also where are you fishing.
Same thing I do in Rufus wood lake
I been wanting to try Rufos wood, but I didn't want to troll all day. Are you using a 5 or 6 weight?
I think I will start fly fishing
LOVED the vid! A tip, and a question. You should keep your elbow closer to your body. And the lakes in our neck of the woods usually have brush, down to the waters edge. Don't you have troubles with your back cast, with such a long rod?
The stripping technique has been a mystery ... thanks for the video lesson!
Thumbs up!!!
Clark
Appreciate your content and looking forward to WA opening fishing :)
Did you use standard fluorocarbon fishing line or fluorocarbon tippet?
I will never not watch an Addicted fly fishing video
I fish in Canada every year and catch 10-12 lb trout all the time with a 5 weight rod and 4 lb tipit ( leader ) and very rarely loose fish. I’m still able to release the fish with all unharmed and ready to be caught by the next angler. Also the hooks on those flies are so needle sharp that a strong hook set is unnecessary, in fact all that is needed is to just he rod tip and Bam, fish on. The fish pretty much hook themselves.
I wish I had a pond like that nearby I don't care if it's stocked I would catch em all day long
what kind of reel is that? great videos
Jordan talked me into an Okuma SLV rod and reel
Right after he talked me into an Okuma Celilo spinning rod.
I fish the Bow river in Alberta in Banff National Park. Water conditions are constantly changing but was curious to what you think the best wet flies are for these extremely picky Bulls, Browns and Brookies? I know it's a very vague question but thought maybe you'd have some go to flies in these always cold and ever changing water conditions. Water is usually around 5C and between 7-15 ft depending on the month.
I have use a 4weight spey and use wet flies in my local rivers, they hammer it when they take it.
Can you show using wooly buggers with strike indicators on lakes?
I like to use a spinning rod and reel for flies, under water I use one or two split shots 6in above hook, like black willy burgers, Top water I use water bobbers 3 foot from the fly , pop it reel up line and pop it do this over and over sound like fishs eating gets other fish to come look !
I didnt see that fish take any line off your reel when you were bringing him in did you set drag on your reel or something
Would my 6 to 12 lb rod would work with this style?
