- Hello! Today I baked delicious bread. German bread recipe. Fast and easy. The fastest bread recipe. My husband loves bread and beer. I can make this easy recipe every day. How do you cook bread? Recipe for beer bread:
700 grams of flour.
2 tablespoons of sugar.
1 teaspoon of salt.
10 grams of dry yeast.
400 ml warm beer.
30 ml sunflower oil.
sunflower oil.
Milk.
sunflower oil.
Flour.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes.

I'm from Michigan in the US. How do I make bread? The main recipe my German Grandma taught me is warm water, salt, sugar, oil & yeast. Mix flour-with no need to sift & knead. I add oil to the bowl I mixed it in (no need to wash between steps) and let it raise. I hand shape my loaves/rolls, have never pinched seams and butter the tops after baking. It always turns out soft & fluffy with a beautiful crust. Grams baked this way for more than 70 yrs and I have for 50 yrs. Definitely simple, delicious, tried & true recipe and style handed down through the generations.
@debgalliway1398 I am from Serbia and that is exactly how we make traditional pogača bread with simple ingredients. I also make bread and sweets with beer and it has a very specific taste and stays fresh for a few days.
@@marijacvetkovic1965 Physically I can't cook or bake like I used to, my passion from before I could reach the counters without a chair. Yet bread is the main thing I can still do where you have time to rest between steps. I'm so grateful to still be able to do this & love how simple it can be yet taste amazing! Cooking & baking is the biggest thing we can share no matter what country we are from...I love this! We call this our basic white bread though I love to experiment with different flours. Thank you for sharing one way we have a beautiful skill/habit in common!

I used to bake my own bread using another French recipe, but with violent kneading.! This looks so easy & relaxing, I nearly feel asleep. For now I use a bread maker, making a loaf using Organic spelt, white & wholemeal loaves. You have inspired me to copy your method. From sunny Stadhampton. A small country village near Oxford, UK.

I am baking my own bread. I never, ever did anything but making the dough, letting it grow a little time then bake it. I even add very little yeast (1 or 2 grams for 1Kg of flour) but the dough always is growing like crazy. Never sifted the flour. Never folded the dough absolutely at all. The bread is always soft, elastic, tasty and has wonderful texture. It literally takes 5 minutes to make it.

I’ve never added yeast to my beer bread. Plus, I cook mine in cans, to make them tall & crusty tops. I like to use flavored ales & add fruits that go with them, and spices that match. Pumpkin, with Autumn ale, etc. Apple Ales, with Apples, it’s so easy to adapt!

Looks great!. A very simple recipe. Wonder if GF flour (eg Rice Flour) might work as well?
To my knowledge there is no gluten in rice flour, so it probably wont rise the way wheat/gluten based doughs do.
