Nice to see someone using stuff properly. Not putting the spurs to the tractor. So many of these videos has the tractor blowing black smoke and the chopper straining. Makes you wonder how some people keep stuff from flying apart,
Hello H Turbo. I saw this video recently (maybe a couple weeks now) and put it into my watch later queue so I am back now! We tried corn this year, not nearly as much as you have planted but ours did not do very well! Anyway, I find it fascinating the machines that get built to help do our work. @@mikeapenhorst7706 actually, what would be easier is to watch the video with your phone and when you see the setup clearly, snap a picture of it then zoom in on it. I just watched the video and tried it and I could see it clearly.
Great video of 1206 pulling a John Deere silage chopper!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Love hearing a pull-type chopper go through corn! Thanks for posting this!

That brings back memories. I chopped a lot of silage on a 1456 but with a 3940 harvester.
We use a 3950 for hay

Yes we do. It does a better job of cracking or cutting the corn.

Thanks for the video!!
We got it cheap!! We got two of them for next to nothing.
@@hturbo1007 Nice!!
JD 35 is a good unit. Red in the front and green in the back is a good combo.
@@glenirwin1110 must agree, we plant with a red tractor, red cultipacker and a green drill .. I'm not fond of the red drills
