My grandpa had the same setup as you got there . I wish I had been old enough to run it . I always got the fun chore of unloading the wagons lol . Thanks for sharing !
New Idea picker? We had a pull type that was sold Many years ago. I remember freezing picking corn with our IH 756 and a 2 tow New idea picker. Thanks for the vid
Back in the 1980s I had a Super M with a NI mounted picker. Every year filled my crib with ear corn plus my friend's 14 X 50 silo with high moisture ground ear.
Thats a real farmall right there!!!! Doing the jobs it was ment to do. Theres tractors can do much more then be in a parade or sit around looking prity. LONG LIVE THE FARMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@bradhaenitsch1145 your right, the farmall can still pull there own but they can't keep up the big stuff now. Fortunately there still good a helper tractors around the farm.
H Turbo no, the first one I remember was a pull type case and then we bought a semi mount John Deere 100 or 101 I think. It hooked to the drawbar and stabilizer mount on the international 504 utility diesel. It was made to be able to pick the head up and down with one of the three point arms also but we just attached a solid bar and kept it in a fixed position.
wonder if those are 30 in rows bring,s back memories i used t ohave h with a 2mh picker picked a lot of corn with it my dad had a jd /227 picker still have both
Man ive always dreamed of runing that same set up what a wonderful video thank you guys for shareing. Do you guys have a drive over auger our just throw an auger under every time to unload
Wonder why farmers do not go back to picking more ear corn and save money not using propane. You can buy big 12 row uni and pick sol pickers now and huge dump carts and baddle floor semi trailers and skid loaders to handle it.
I don't know the exact size.I found an ad in the Red Power magazine. Go to keystoneturbo.com. They have turbos for most International gasoline tractors.
@@hturbo1007 I'm not really looking at one for an IH tractor per say, more the west borough baptist church alabama backwoods up the creek in the mountains basement brew RC Cola IH, also known as Mahindra
Any of you guys know what a (Mcormick Farm all operator's manual for a 460,, and 560 and international 560 tractors all in a book worth. Book is in fair to good condition, not bent or anything.
You just made farming great again! BOOM
I enjoy running this. The only thing is..is it's very dusty.

We used to run a 234 picker on our 656. Brings back memories of when farming was much simpler
Good to see the old equipment working!!!

Are you picking 30 inch rows? Dirty work. I had a 237 mounted on a 60 John Deere.
38 inch rows. The narrowest it would ever do is 36.
what is the power of your tractor and what is the model of the new idea?
The tractor is around 50 horse power. The model # of the picker I'm not sure of.
Thanks for the ride along, enjoyed it. Is the picker set for wider rows?
36 inch rows is the narrowest in can pick. We are doing 38 inch now.
Screen around the muffler would be good.
That’s real farmin
How wide are those rows?
38 inch rows i'am sure. They were really designed for 40inch rows. We all changed out our way from 40 to 38s
.in the late 60s.
Hey I got a question
what size turbo did you put on your H?
