The calming music has saved me from flipping my fucking table a few times by now. Great video.

    Couple tips,
    1. use A LOT of tape, as it is what keeps the cover from twisting on the wheel.
    2. It's gonna take a few hours, so plan for it and take your time.
    3. Take the buttons and trim off so you can lay the wheel flat on the edge of a table face down.

    Took about 4 hours.
The video was very helpful. The statement that you do not have to remove the steering wheel to install the cover may be true but I STRONGLY suggest you remove the steering wheel as it made doing all the stitching/etc much easier.
The finishing step of pushing the leather under the side buttons was much easier than I thought (actually thought I forgot a step). Once that is done it is very clean and looks great.
The tape is up to you. I used the tape but not a whole lot of it as the lower part has too many spokes to really move. The upper part I used it more liberally as that is where I usually rest my hand most of the time.
Agree that this would be super frustrating especially if you leave it on the car.
Removing the wheel is not difficult. The fear about the airbag is real so do it right by disconnecting the battery (wait at least 15-20 mins) before starting removal. Airbag, two connectors, and a bolt are all that holds the wheel in. Check out 50skid video on the detailed steps...

Why would you not remove the trim it’s an extra 4 screws that would have taken 30 seconds

It's easier, quicker and a lot cheaper to just patch the old leather instead of this hullabaloo.
