I am planning to do some fishing trips this summer and wanted to upgrade to a bigger more car camp suited tent. Found this guy. Easy setup and spacious for me. Hopefully it will work out. Time will tell.

I’ve had an older version of this for 8 years. I like it quite a bit and I’m 5,11 and can stand up in the middle, but my version has a different netting at the top that provides more head room. I have backpacked with it many times but yes, it is heavy. I did have leaking issues whenever I got caught in the rain. Water would pool around the edges. I have since added seam sealer on the inside seams, and a spray on barrier on the outside. Even with that, I’ve still had issues if it’s raining all night but it’s much better. I’ve also learned that with better ground stakes and an excellent setup that keeps the walls pulled nice and tight, water is less likely to get in.
I have had good luck, but have not had it out in the rain...yet. I'll update you. And yes tight lines lift the edge makes for a better seal on the ground. Be safe out there
Yet another Pro Level vid from 2CG. I have to say I’m a little disappointed in seeing Gods favorite creature the cat on a leash on the back patio. Cats should roam free. Nice looking tent and it’s huge. We need to see it in action this summer on a fishing trip
Thankyou. Merry not so good outside. Very nervous. Lots Tom's here too. She tends to run onto road alot chasing sqirrels..lol. but nearly go hit. Not to smart. She's getting better. When I am not doing anything I let her go and stay close. Hope all well. Bad storm here yesterday.
Another cool price of gear! I've looked at those in the guide many times. Ill be watching for your first trip with it! By the way 3M makes a great spray on sealer, bit pricey but it works.have a great day!
Yep. If it works, I think it will be perfect for me. Time will tell. About the great day.....not so much. Big storm knocked up some trees here. The clean up crews dumped it in my yard. All the neighbors stuff....now I gotta get rid of it. .....great lol
