Great video. A few questions: Do they not recommend sanding the handles down for sport? Would that remove the glass beads? Is the finish similar to the finish that comes on the Kettlebell Kings bells? How well does chalk adhere?
@@KettlebellEventsDotCom you can sand the handles down, but it will remove the texture and it’s not easy to bring that back. The finish is not as rough as the one on Kettlebell Kings. I’m not sure about chalk adhering, I’ll have to get back to you on that!
Glass isn’t embedded in the handles. The glass beads are used as the medium to polish the metal. Sand and ceramic are also used for this. Glass blasting provides a smoother texture without ripping too much material off compared to sand.
Vulcan. The most logical kettlebell! 🖖
I wish the Vulcan website would let you calculate shipping based on zipcode. 😕
@@utubepunk I wasn’t aware they didn’t 😆 that would be useful!
I wonder if the more generous window on the Vulcan will impact shorter/ smaller statured adults? 🤔
@@utubepunk I think hand and arm size will definitely play a role.

@ Thanks, Britt!
@@KettlebellEventsDotCom You're welcome! Just heard from Coach Cyrus (owner of Vulcan) that they hold chalk very well as is.
@ Ok. Thanks again!
