Nice install, that unit looks great. I've had an early 2000s vintage Blaupunkt CD head unit in our '95 C280 for a few years, but it still looks a bit "new" for the car, and I prefer a full OEM look. I also swapped the 6 cassette holder for the factory storage cubby, which is very convenient (perfect place to hold a wallet).
Nice video. I have this same car. I need to replace the hazard switch. How does the wood trim panel come off? Looks like it may come off with the radio out. Any comments to help? Thanks.
Did you need to use the harness from crutchfield ? It looks like your plugged the factory harness directly into the new Blaupunkt. Also, Does the power antenna work properly?
Thank you for watching and asking good questions. If i correctly recall, I was fortunate not to need the adapters. My power antenna does work…interestingly, when I have the radio off and my paired phone rings the antenna goes up…it goes back down when I hang up!
love this unit, I got it myself and although not perfect, its damn good esp compared to car stereo quality these days .. people just dont buy/care for these anymore it seems
The menu button takes you to Bluetooth setting and you turn volume knob until you see pairing then push button to select phone….the manual does a good job explaining
My kids use the car more than me. They like to connect their phone. I think is safer for the Google Maps directions to come through the car stereo and phone calls. I did save the original radio and can always give to the next owner. I am not sure when I may sell it,
It fits perfectly because it's a standard DIN radio, the wiring should be the same for the same reason, it is an ISO standard
Very nice, I plan to install this radio on my W201 when I'll have the money to buy it
Great video dude. Looking at fitting this into my 1985 Porsche 911.

How do you pair it with a phone?
