Overland F-150: DIY Spare Tire Mount

The 37" spare tire won't fit under the bed and it bouncing around in the back of the bed was getting old. Kevin decided to extend the strut channel base used in the DIY bedrack video to create a simple mount to keep the spare tire (mostly) out of the way, and maximizing available bed space.
All supplies for this project can be picked up at the local hardware store if

2x Flat 90* strut channel L brackets
1x 10ft low profile strut channel (Base)
2x Strut Chanel 90* brackets (Bracket)
6x Strut T nuts (Bracket)
6x Strut 1/2" bolts (Bracket)
1x 3/4 x 4" bolt (Bracket)
1x 3/4 Nut (Bracket)
2x 3/4 washers (Bracket)
1x 1/2" threaded EMT 90" (handle)
2x 1/2" threaded EMT couplers (handle)
1x Deck 2 Wall spacer (centering ring)

Way too much work to get to the spare as I own a Ranger with 225 60 16s I went to harbor freight bought 2 spare tire carriers mounted both my spares at the rear by the tailgate Sooo much easier and have had Multi comments and for 34.99 each its hard too beat Next is spare tire covers and a tool box

33s were just delivered. I am not sure if we need a bit of lift to clear those but those going on is in the pipe line hopefully followed up with the DIY spare tire door mount... 😅
