7:49 - A much easier way to do camouflage wrapping on guns is masking tape and super glue. Take one to three layers of masking tape(depending on how thick you want it), cut a thin strip, wrap it around your gun however you want, then carefully cover it in super glue using a thin nozel glue tip (if you get your super glue from Poundland it comes with small nozel adapters, which work well for this task). Do less than you think, you can always add more later. Wipe off any excess. The glue will make it rock hard and very strong. This way is much better than green stuff as the masking tape won't stretch or malform (no annoying finger prints!) and will gently stick to your models without damaging them, so you can reposition it as many times as you like without too much issue. You can also do a much thinner strip than you can with green stuff and the masking tape texture is perfect. The hardest part is coating it with super glue and not getting your fingers stuck to it.

I've always wanted to see some Sisters of Battle from Krieg, I think that the ultra zealous nature of the krieg population would make for great soroitas but I've been stuck on how to make such a conversion, it's be great to see someone else's take on it.
there are no women on krieg, its aa nuclear waste hellhole. the entire population of Krieg are clones of 1 individual. hence the gas masks to cover up the use of banned and heretical technology
@@TheRincewind64 We know, still a cool idea regardless. Its kinda weird that the Sisters are fairly uniform across the board. Ideas like this could be a cool way to make more unique orders. I guess would you want to do more heavily armoured Kreig models with a more feminine shape (maybe hollowing out sister helmets to hit over the Gas mask heads), and swapping the las guns for bolters, might be better to wait and see if GW make grenadier bodies for the Kreig if you want to go down this route. But doing kreig versions with the power armoured sisters seams like a much harder project since you can't really do much to change the power armour, besides maybe resculpting the helmet to have the coal scuttle shape of the Kreig helmet, or sculpting the heads to have masks, or adding grenadier-like lobster armour ontop of the bodies?
@@TheRincewind64 They’re confirmed as using clones, but I’m pretty sure it’s more than just one person as a template and they don’t just clone, it’s mentioned as technology loaned from the AdMech to *assist* in creating new soldiers. There’s a pretty high chance that there’s at least a comparative handful of women kriegers
Its worth noting that the rolled blanket isn't just a blanket, but an improvised backpack, so sculpting them with some bulges of the gear wrapped inside them might not be a bad idea. These really do look amazing though! Especially considering they're 100% GW. Would have thought you would have just went for head swaps but using cadian ones works perfectly. Would be awesome to see you do one of the other great coated regiments now that the base is there, but it would also be cool to see you do either one of the lesser known regiments (as in, one that hasn't yet been modeled by GW that's only really been mentioned or described in the books, or maybe even an original one?) A number of regiments from the Gaunt's Ghosts series has also been illustrated in the recent Sabbat Crusade artbook. And what I think they are less creative than what some fans have came up with for them, I think they're still pretty cool. You can find the images of them or maybe a PDF floating around. If not, reply with an email address and I could link an imgur of photos if you want?

BTW, have you or someone in the comment section ever thought about stylising the Valhallans to look more like WWII or cold war Soviets? With their distinctive green steel helmets and stuff like that? The more I rhink about it, the more I like the idea.
Would be awesome to see you do one of the other great coated regiments now that the base is there, but it would also be cool to see you do either one of the lesser known regiments (as in, one that hasn't yet been modeled by GW that's only really been mentioned or described in the books, or maybe even an original one?)
A number of regiments from the Gaunt's Ghosts series has also been illustrated in the recent Sabbat Crusade artbook. And what I think they are less creative than what some fans have came up with for them, I think they're still pretty cool. You can find the images of them or maybe a PDF floating around. If not, reply with an email address and I could link an imgur of photos if you want?
Yup, definitely snagging me some Krieg boi’s to kitbash my homebrew regiment, jus hoping they come in individual sets vs the big box set.
This video has shown me an issue that I may have with my own kitbash for my Kasrkin killteam. I am going to be using veteran guardsman heads on Kasrkin bodies to make a Kerberos unit killteam. I'll probably have to make use of some greenstuff to get the heads to fit nicely.
great work can you make a tutorial on how did you paint those guys?
