Honestly, now I want to see rhe beatle used as a Steampunk conversion for wood elves Cities of Sigmar haha. Or the cannon regiment that uses giant bugs for combat
Me too. I was hoping he would somehow mash the two together and get a beetle head on the Glotkin body or something. That sounds like a ton of work, though.
Papa Nurgle would be proud. Not to mention extremely happy to receive another beautiful life goddess as a gift. You know, to add to his collection. Isha was getting lonely.
As a Sylvaneth player, these Nurgleneth conversions' really play along the narrative of "What if Maggotkin of Nurgle managed to get a hold on Alarielle's soulpod?" if anyone familiar with the Sylvaneth lore. Really enjoy your conversion videos, and can't wait for more Nurgleneth (maybe Treelord Ancient or Spirit of Durthu).
I have an Alarielle here myself, I plan on making it more of a showpiece and with a autmn/fall theme, so a lot of red, orange and yellow with a darker skin tone, hopefully I will turn out nice, greetings from Germany
Oddly I was jsut rewatching your Sylvaneth army vids yesterday and thought I wonder if Alarielle got made as you spoke of her in the final video at the start. Always glad to see more from you.
with the new total war warhammer game allowing you to make your own daemon prince, would it be cool if you played through the campaign, made a daemon prince, and then kitbashed/converted it into a mini?
I was looking for inspiration to convert my alarielle into a Nurgle's daemon princess... Well I think I have found the way ! Handsome job btw, congrat !
I’m glad I watched the previous videos not too long ago, like I said before I’m usually here for the Space Marines but this has been a fascinating series.
You should make some autumn units, they'd create a big contrast on the table and you could make them even more decayed as autumn is the season when leaves fall and trees look dead anyway, a unit like drycha or durthu would work great for this and be a good general
This was a fantastic build. Really making me want to jump into AOS with the army you've been working on. 👏 The unused beetle might make an excellent Tyranid conversion.... 😉
This is so cool! I love the reserve or mixing themes between good and evil factions. For a long time I've thought of picking up a Slaanesh army and making it Light theme of demons, with white and gold as the center colors and marble tile looking bases to give that "holy temple" vibe, with some mix of DoK to give daemonettes a more high elfish/angelic look to them but still half demonic.
that sounds really cool. i hope you do this (+ maybe share progress / pictures?). as an example, instread of a regular keeper of secrets, how about converting an age of sigmar Lumineth Spirit of the mountain / Stoneheart King as a Keeper of Secrets? (Keepers originally had cow / minotaur heads + I've always been a fan of those). [el'sda2].
15:27 When I painted the Glottkin, I also did not realize that it was a spread skin framed by wool (or larvae). Symbols are carved on it and someone 's heart is lying on it . But if you look closely, you can see the border between its uneven edge and the Ghurek Glott itself. It's funny that almost everyone misses it when painting.
So cool so see this army come together! I really hope you do something with that awesome beetle some day, would be a good chance to talk more about things to keep in mind when doing big expensive kitbashes like this one.
Really cool model. I was really surprised and disappointed to not see it in its entirety at any point in the video though. Even the final reveal only showed sections at a time
Fantastic conversion. Though I would've kept the wings, clipped a lot of the leaves off while adding some cysts and snot like blobs hanging from the wings.
what would be cool for a next conversion is to use 2 units of dryads with some sculpting and skulls and a branshwraith or branshwitch to make a smaller but cool conversion
Love the work, very inspiring. I highly recommend if you are working with GW plastic kits mostly, invest in creating a pot of sprue glue from Tamiya Extra thin plastic cement. It is AMAZING at binding parts and filling gaps better, faster and more workable than GS. I'm about to start a Slaanesh demons army and I think I may steal your skin tone. :D
I've been looking forward to this guide for ages after seeing it in the competition the other month that Artis Opus covered. Loved all the work that went in here :)
Really awesome video, great to see the conversion! Side note, Hello Fresh is really great. As a sponsor goes it is something I can confirm it isn’t all just talk, everything you say about them is spot on!
Dude ,I just watched the conversion videos for your Sylvaneth army this weekend ,and I was wondering when you'd make Alarielle . To say the least , I was pleasantly surprised . It looks absolutely amazing .Can't wait to see what you add next ,also I really want to see all of them together .
Dang, that's impressive. It was because of you I began using the Pro Acryl Black Brown primer and I'm rather partial to it now (I'm not too keen on the paints themselves, as I tried them and much prefer my Vallejo and P3 paints). I also am dipping my toe into kit bashing more because of you, Pete; I'm working on a Reaper Bones Iron Golem that I added a couple of small bits to and I ordered another one to modify more radically with additional parts as well, now. Maybe I'll send you photos when they're done?
Great video. I was actually thinking about buying a Glotkin for the bits box soon. I'd like to make the Wizard brother into one of my filth-throwers for my DG army (I forget the name of the stink-sorcerer for them) It's a conversion I've still never seen yet, most people tend to use the witch from the Wurmspat set (I'm going to make my second one from the wurmspat set though. another great kit for Nurgle conversions) I'll likely use the biggest brother to turn into a Nurgle knight. I know it's done a lot now, but it does look great if done well. The lamprey arm with a big autocanon sticking out of it looks really cool.
I know it's been done before, but I'm curious to see your take on Gabriel Seth, I'm in the process of building true scale flesh tearers and my old Seth model is looking like a chump next to them.
I love this! I've been building some death sylvaneth for an Unliving City army. I have ghostly spite revenants, converted banshees into tree revenants, and a converted drycha!
21:20 the butt-spikes :D I had never noticed them before on this kit. PS: I'll use your Element games link with my next batch of buys. I gave my last one to Ninjon. I tend to share them about a bit. getting a decent haul though with an airbrush and scale75 set, as well as some minis so hopefully you get a nice kickback from that.
I would have changed the face with something banshee like, and changed the spear into a sickle. But these are just my opinion, the work is simply astonishing
I'm really tempted to do the reverse of this project. A natural/garden themed death gaurd army full of tree bits and bright flowers
Do It!
Lore wise it would fit the new AOS setting very well, Life magic waxing. Good luck it's a cool idea!
That's actually a really cool idea 👍
haha you should! that would be so neat XD
Let us know if you do
Very clever use of the Glotkin, but I’m kinda sad you didn’t make her Beatle into a giant fly.
Oh that would have been rad
Honestly, now I want to see rhe beatle used as a Steampunk conversion for wood elves Cities of Sigmar haha. Or the cannon regiment that uses giant bugs for combat
Me too. I was hoping he would somehow mash the two together and get a beetle head on the Glotkin body or something. That sounds like a ton of work, though.
Love your profile picture.
I mean there are carrion beetles but a giant fly would've been good
Papa Nurgle would be proud. Not to mention extremely happy to receive another beautiful life goddess as a gift. You know, to add to his collection. Isha was getting lonely.

Legitimately sad you didn't use the beetle, I would have loved to have seen a Corrupted Wardroth Beetle!
I would love to see the whole army together.
I was looking for inspiration to convert my alarielle into a Nurgle's daemon princess... Well I think I have found the way !
Handsome job btw, congrat !
Came here for Nurgle. Stayed for the awesomeness
These are always fun...I imagine a huge semi trailer parked alongside your home where you keep all of your boxes of shame.
It's like the greatest heresy art channel ever seen. What's next...a Slanesshi Bloodthirster? ;)
More 'yesses' to this than a Daniel Bryan convention [el'sda2].
I was binging the nurgleneth kitbashes on Friday and was wondering whatever happened to the series so this is a funny coincidence
I love this army and REALLY wanna see it in play!
I’m glad I watched the previous videos not too long ago, like I said before I’m usually here for the Space Marines but this has been a fascinating series.
I'd love to see him do some corrupted raptors from the horus heresy when alpha legion tainted the gene-seed of the raven guard, corrupted but loyal
Not only is that conversion super awesome, but the paint job is beautiful! Great work!!!
i really love when you include both painting and converting in the videos :D
You should make some autumn units, they'd create a big contrast on the table and you could make them even more decayed as autumn is the season when leaves fall and trees look dead anyway, a unit like drycha or durthu would work great for this and be a good general
Another cool army concept would be serephon/tzeench
This was a fantastic build. Really making me want to jump into AOS with the army you've been working on. 👏
The unused beetle might make an excellent Tyranid conversion.... 😉
Once again, just when I think you can't get any more creative you blow my mind with the talent involved in your builds. Damned fine work sir.
glad you gotten back into your AoS army my friend.
This is so cool! I love the reserve or mixing themes between good and evil factions. Those sound beautiful have you started on that yet?
you know u are in for a dam good convershion when pete drops the 5 dead animals bits :)
15:27 When I painted the Glottkin, I also did not realize that it was a spread skin framed by wool (or larvae). Symbols are carved on it and someone 's heart is lying on it . But if you look closely, you can see the border between its uneven edge and the Ghurek Glott itself.

Yes! Loving this series!
Perfect way to wrap up the weekend. :)
A full 5/5 dead animal bits, you just know it's gonna be a juicy video in that case.
So cool so see this army come together! I really hope you do something with that awesome beetle some day, would be a good chance to talk more about things to keep in mind when doing big expensive kitbashes like this one.
It would be fascinating to seeing a nurgle corrupted treelord
Not gonna lie it’s a pretty cool design! Buuuuuut I refuse to accept such vile heresy of Alarielle’s divine name!!! *Unleashes the Exterminatus*
Really cool model. I was really surprised and disappointed to not see it in its entirety at any point in the video though. Even the final reveal only showed sections at a time
BRO FINISH PUTTING ON YOUR WATCH! HELLO FRESH CAN WAIT!
Love your conversions they are all sick, A+ on bringing Hello Fresh into the community good to see some sponsors that aren't stl patreons 👍
Fantastic conversion.
Though I would've kept the wings, clipped a lot of the leaves off while adding some cysts and snot like blobs hanging from the wings.
I follow alot of mini painters but you make it look so simple and are the reason im leveling up my painting
I love the airbrush, with the magenta its create beautiful detail and smooth transition
That is fucking awesome! I love the Purple flesh and glowing green effects
Pete, we have to get a family photo! Absolute BANGER of a project mate!
Everything about this video blow my mind
Brilliant work. Loved being on this journey to get your army butland painted, cant wait to see what you do next.
This is amazing! The dung beetle is great too, but this ride for Alarielle is simply stunning!
An impressive job! It is always a pleasure to see some of your projects together with a good cup of coffee.
You are quite an artist.
I’m absolutely blown over by your work
It's finally here!
Absolutely unreal, what a fantastic conversion.
This has to be my favourite conversion yet!!!
That is a wonderful looking model.
Somewhere in 40k, Isha and Nurgle are nodding in approval
That is amazing. And there is a certain irony for a hello fresh advert in the middle of making a big plague monster 😁😁😁
what would be cool for a next conversion is to use 2 units of dryads with some sculpting and skulls and a branshwraith or branshwitch to make a smaller but cool conversion

Damn a full 5/5 dead animal bits is always a good time. Good job man!
Oh man, I was waiting for this! Papa Nurgle bless you!
Yes! Painting footage on 5-dead-animal-bits kitbashes! Please and thank you :)
Ah, a continuation. Great!
I've been looking forward to this guide for ages after seeing it in the competition the other month that Artis Opus covered. Loved all the work that went in here :)
Finally!
Good work over all.
Been waiting for this one and you knocked it out of the park! Love her!
Fantastic bash Pete, must say his sword hand has a naughty finger when visualised from a certain angle lol
Really awesome video, great to see the conversion!
Side note, Hello Fresh is really great. As a sponsor goes it is something I can confirm it isn’t all just talk, everything you say about them is spot on!
It was worth the wait!

Idk what it is about your vids, but I always find them interesting, but always fall asleep while watching

Your Alarielle looks very much like humanized Chrysalis. I love it so much.
Amazing result! Bravo Pete!
When you get in vid sponsor .then straight into two unskipable ads 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Dude this is absolutely killer!!
21:17 this would be so uncomfortable to sit on!
great job. really enjoyed the video
Thank you I learn so much with each video
Nurgle aprove this.
This is glorious man well done. Great addition to the army. 🤟
I would have changed the face with something banshee like, and changed the spear into a sickle. But these are just my opinion, the work is simply astonishing
Like the mortarion of aos. Great job pete! reminds me of mortarion because of the wings.
Wow amazing conversion and paint job!
That’s beautiful
Incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Really cool work. Pretty custom and paintjob.
Really great looking conversion.
cool vid but there's no shot with the model fully in frame at the end. it's all detail shots ?
Looks awesome, feels very Nurgle and his eldar "wife" Isha.
Dude this was soo cool man!
This is amazing!! A great addition to your army
Incredible.
Pete, please show us the hole model, zoomed out shot! please :)
Let’s see a full army reveal or maybe even a battle report
Wow. Amazing!!!
amazing conversion!
kitbash is king!
for real tho, goals
Absolutely amazing!!
Must be nice to be able half a dozen or so kits to make one model
Fantastic! I'm scared to know how much each of these costs.
Wowee very cool !
Beautiful work, as always, now, a word from da orkz:
Boss sayz he wantz kommandoz, Kood yoo convert teem f-ork-tress too
I was thinking about this but with Khorne and Lumineth
this is amazing!
