That's not accurate, he chose to side with the loyalists on prospero, after mortarion confronted him and attempted to recruit him to the traitor cause.
Not quite true, Jaghatai fought against the Traitors for several years between the Second Battle of Prospero and the Siege of Terra. The White Scars were major thorns in Horus' side before his advance to Terra.
@Hamzah Sajjad Okay, yes, that is true, my apologies. He did, however, not particularly want to pick sides, as he was (rightly) critical of The Emperor and he did love some of the brothers he lost to the Heresy.
Idk what's more impressive, the conversion, the paint job or the fact that the marine somehow managed to behead a daemonette with a blunt weapon. I'm excited to see what you'll come up with for the Rout. But no matter what, I'm expecting a lot of Dead Animal Bits.
@@qwer9676 I was thinking the same thing! yeah this would look great as like a 40k Space Wolves marine, but for white scars I think you have to really go for that(frustratingly difficult to achieve) bright titanium white look.
Depending on light he has chosen for this army it makes sense. White is very rarely complete white, especially when you start adding in shadows and light sources. It’s a realistic white.
Interesting interpretation, I do like non-uniform interpretations of Legions, touches like the club are distinct without being a dao or scimitar, and the red backback and boots marks the model in a similar war to the cover of Warhawk
Looks awesome! White scars are super underrated and it's nice to see them get some love. My only real criticism would be that his armor looks a bit too grey, but other than that great job, way better than anything I could do. Also, I think adding some blood to his club would look really cool.
I like the narrative implication that this White Scar knocked the Daemonette's head clean off. "Batter up!" That's a great paint job 👍 It looks so good; even under the *EXTREME CLOSE-UP* of the beauty shots.
Loved the video - But isn't he too gray for The White Scars? He looks more like a Luna Wolf, based off of the coloration of the armor (not the details)
I agree with this, I enjoy the personality of the model and I really appreciate how much he tried to incorporate elements that would help to sell “this is a warrior stepped in the ways of chogoris” but the lack of actual white armor took me out of fully loving this conversation.
love the melee weapon kitbash! a kanabo might not be the most mongolian weapon, but it sure fits the biker vibe white scars also have. 😎 if one wanted to keep it a sword i think the various sabers from astra militarum kits could make a cool turko-mongol type sword too
each time i watch these videos i cant believe how you paint these TINY figures, i mean its so tiny it blows my mind that people do it to such detail and all, amazing 💯💪
really nice, also the best ad palament ever. "and i was left with this..." cuts to a desjadins insurance ad with a little girl in a pink jacket riding her toy unicorn towards the camera O_o I was like , its different, for white scars...oh its and ad!

As usual, another great kitbash, perhaps, given the kind of "trophy" he carried, a katana style sword would've been more fitting, but surely you've done an excellent job, with only few modifications. The paintjob reflect well a war weary uniform, with original white becoming more grayish.👍
Great kitbash, great painting technique, but I agree with the others that say the shading is too dark. It just doesn't look like white armour to me. Love the idea of a White Scar holding the severed head of a speedy Slaaneshi Daemonette
I love everything about this except the color of the base armor, it looks more like a space wolf or carcarodon than a white scar to me the paintjob itself is phenomenal but it just feels a lot more like grey
I have an idea for a Heresy(ish) kitbash, but it's going to be years before it becomes something I can work on: an Alpha Legion squad who are an amalgamation of heresy & 40k csm/loyalist bits, almost as though they're a force that's been thrown about through time by travelling in the warp Since I'm not going to be able to work on it any time soon, it's free for anyone who wants it (though I'd love to see a video of something similar to this at some point)!
Loving the kitbash, the head is such a good touch for Scars! Paint scheme, not so much. Way more of a Space Wolf than a White Scar, and the backpack being entirely red looks bad.
You know what would be cool? Taking the torsos and other bits from the attilan rough rider kid and building guardsmen of them. I've checked the bits and I think they would work on the old cadians, new and probably the death korps. It would be cool to see to take up the challenge :)
I think it would be good to do space wolves kitbash, addressing the new HH helmet and seeing if there are other options available to use that would be effective
any change , that you do some 1 claw 10 companie kitbash from the soulhunter book´s ? think that would be a realy nice kill team, and i realy like nightlord books that there all plunder from all mk armor there get.
The model looks nice but kinda chaotic, with the fangs, Spiked club, And beheaded... head, How did he even get a head with a spike club? Also it looks like hes walking on a big ol cheese wheel, I would rather have a curved blade because it looks faster, and is similar to jaghatai's own.
I was curious how you were going to go about this one. I didnt expect you to be so conservative with design but this is just a simple trooper. I do love the choice of the kanabo. Thats in my top 3 favorite weapons in ancient histroy. The oni mask is also nice! White scars definitely scream east asia and you could easily convert them more into barbarians almost similar to space wolves when it comes to the nordic/viking theme. Im really curious to see what youll do with the Salamanders now
Really Can't wait for the Space Wolves One!!!!!... I want Axe's,I want Beards ....I want long Hair...I want fangs , i want Runes and Trinkets ,and Most of all ...I want to see a cheeky canasta of Mjød!!
I love the video! It looks amazing! I do have a question, how would you go about kitbashing the new Vashtorr into a Clan Skryre based Verminlord? There isn’t rules for one in AoS, I don’t think they exist lore wise. But still, it’s something I thought of when I saw the Vashtorr model and was wondering if you had tips or ideas?
Pete, I was wondering if you've ever considered doing a kitbash/conversion for some of the less talked about and somewhat abandoned elements of Chaos? Particularly Malal (subsequently reimagined as Malice). The Chaos against Chaos element always interested me.
Great paint but it look way too grey, white-blue with with weathering looks so much better. Also, shame that White Scars are super bad in Horus Heresy atm.
I would love to see you make an angel with a huge sword like ( Guts sword from Berserk ) I have tried to make my own angel but failed several times so I have kinda gives up on that dream. Or make a cool Dwarf whit long as beard that Welds a hammer that is bigger then himself ( sunglasses emoji ) Love your vids keep them rolling ( fire emoji & heart )
The concept of a White Scar moving so fast that they manage to decapitate someone with a club would make Jagatai proud of his kids
Considering that I’m wanting to create a Jetbike Horde Army based off the Siege of Terra novels, this was a very dangerous video for me to see
do what ever your heart is set upon. unless it is heresy. or becoming allies with xenos. or worshipping me as a god.
I have an idea for a jetbike army but a very expandable Iron Warriors agressive scout/artillery spotter force
@@juliancalero8012 That's interesting... Perphaps with less armored bikes more akin to Atalan Jackals (but Space Marine size).
@@Scarytoaster1809 you've got the emprah's blessing sam
@@Scarytoaster1809 so if you're not a god, why you have an angel and a son that spread your word?
Friendly reminder that Jaghati Khan was an absolute BOSS, who regularly sassed everyone and didn't take sides right until Horus attacked Terra itself.
That's not accurate, he chose to side with the loyalists on prospero, after mortarion confronted him and attempted to recruit him to the traitor cause.

"I hear you do strange things to your men" is still one of the best lines in the heresy.
He was a fence sitter who couldn't make up his mind.
Nice work! That marine is really skilled to take that head so cleanly with that weapon.
Idk what's more impressive, the conversion, the paint job or the fact that the marine somehow managed to behead a daemonette with a blunt weapon. I'm excited to see what you'll come up with for the Rout. But no matter what, I'm expecting a lot of Dead Animal Bits.
I like to think he swatted off her head like a baseball and then drove off to catch it like a home run.
The white scares rly do deserve more attention. Loved this video man.
Would be cool to see you do some mechanicus conversions
They look so awesome. Trouble is, white is a nightmare to paint for a lot of people, which immediately hamstrings their popularity.
Easiest white I’ve ever painted:
Ulthuan Grey base, Apothocary White wash, Matte White highlight. Not perfect but it’s quick & fairly clean
It’s another immaculate kitbash, and paint job. I can’t help but thinking it’s just one shade too dark to read as a white.
I like the result a lot but he does read more grey than white scar to me. This is almost Carchardon level of grey blue reading.
yeah it looks more like a space wolf
@@qwer9676 I was thinking the same thing! yeah this would look great as like a 40k Space Wolves marine, but for white scars I think you have to really go for that(frustratingly difficult to achieve) bright titanium white look.

@@maqywhaq It is all in the wrist. 😄

Gonna have to agree. Looks more like a 'Dull-grey Scar'
I agree with this, I enjoy the personality of the model and I really appreciate how much he tried to incorporate elements that would help to sell “this is a warrior stepped in the ways of chogoris” but the lack of actual white armor took me out of fully loving this conversation.
I'd love to see you use Magnus and/or a Lord of Change to make Corvus Corax in his demonic form.
It's a simple step but I really liked the idea of a watered down wash of the base's ground color as a way to weather boots and feet.
That's a very nice looking Space Wolf with White Scars markings.
Thank you , Pete .

Definitely not very accurate but kanabos are awesome, so i care a little less ;)
He made the Grey scars lol. The rest of it looks good but it needed to be more white
The varnish you put on before the decals looked like magic? goddamn
Alpha legion conversion? Awsome too man another massive W
Oh, you will be disappointed, he's doing these heresy conversions in order of their legion number. So AL will be last.
