I encountered some technical and paint issues with my Tesla Model 3 when I picked it up from Brent Cross - but nothing significant. In my next video, I'll show you how the paint issues got corrected.
I have seen so many vids where people pick up there new car and it has defects including paint errors and panel misalignments. I pick up my 2022 M3 LR in white with black upholstery with upgraded sports wheels next Wednesday (30/03/22. All i can say is it better be 100% in every aspect or i will kick off ! I dont understand how they think someone will accept a 50k car with defects?! Why on earth do Tesla not employ people to do a PDI check? You arrive extremely excited to find your nrand new car is faulty ! Im excited but very anxious for when i pick mine up. I will let you know how i get on. So far everything has gone exceptionally smooth, from ordering with a £100 deposit to getting a collection date in 5 weeks !!!
I agree it isn't great, but at least they do give you a couple of weeks to find and report issues, then then fix them without question.
Also, the processes of reporting issues, picking up the courtesy car and picking my car up after the work was completed was a much better experience than I've had with official Mercedes, VW official dealerships I've used.
Don't worry about it, just enjoy the experience 👍

BTW, I like your motorbike track day videos. My dad owned the PR company that did the marketing and advertising for Kawasaki for 15 years, so I went to lots of motorbike events, races and the shows at the NEC. I've done a few track days in cars - including Anglesey in my VX220.
I love my bikes more than cars, ive been riding since i was 15yrs old and owned the blistering Suzuki RG500 until i nearly killed myself at 18 ! Loved the track day at Snetterton.
Now back to the Tesla pickup next week, how did you insure the car before you collected it. I cant insure my Tesla without the registration number?? How do i find this out beforehand ? How did you do it please? 👍🏻
@@glynn36 Tesla sent me the registration number a few days before I collected it. I found the insurance from Peugeot to be the cheapest £442 for my wife and I for 10k miles. I've actually only done just under 2k miles in 6 months - I love working from home thanks to Covid! Pre-Covid I was driving to client sites all over England!

You got a good deal on insurance, the cheapest i can get is £680 from LV over 50s. I will now try Peugeot now. Thanks for the quick reply and info.
@@glynn36 If needed, you can get the insurance agreed in principle, then call them when you collect the car to confirm the number plate 😊

I think it had 6 miles.
