I’m just blown away by this!! So happy because Alex has been really depressed ever since the passing of NP, and so were many of us RUSH fans. The fact that he is playing up there with Tool is a a small sign of better things to come!!
I've experienced the Bangkok solo recorded more times than I can count and live thrice (once from the front row about 12' from Alex); but, this here is the cleanest & most expressive instance of it that I've ever heard from Alex. He utterly nailed it, as did Adam with the rhythm part, showing all just how perfectly guitar can be done. What a moment!
I was there on the 20th and I could not believe every second it went on. My jaw was, literally, open the entire time. Total magic. A gift from the beyond I never would have looked for. Never thought I'd get to see anyone from Rush, let alone at a Tool show.

I’m thankful for the video but the camera guy had an opportunity to record one of the best TooL concert videos out there and he’s all over the place with the camera 🤷♂️
