His live vocals is either hit or miss I’ve noticed for years. He either kills a song, or sounds horrible. His younger days he sounded a lot better. His soothing parts and his screams. I’ve been a Chevelle guy since 02, so I’ve been following them closely for over 20 years now.

As I stated somewhere else, I don’t think there is a venue that will accommodate the legions of people to go see that show.

People live fake ass lives through social media. They even want to see real life filtered through the phone screen. I can’t stand most people on earth like some disaffected teenager grown old. However, as I’ve aged and grown wiser I’ve learned to not give a flying fuck about the fools. I look around at a Tool concert and there are a bunch of people feeling it. Immersed in the music and performance. Those are my people. The sheep to keep me warm in my herd. The greatest thing is that I never pushed any certain music on my kids but my 8 year old’s favorite song is Jambi and he used it as his walk out song in baseball. Let the losers and the posers miss out. P.S. I clicked on this video because I assumed it was an official recording. It sucks ass.

Ive seen tool a couple of times and i do love that 99% of people have their phones away the whole show, but i am grateful for the couple of people who nonintrusively record the shows for others and myself to enjoy in the future.

Tool is as good as Rush was, better in fact if you like them(or their music)better.

I saw Rush once on the R40 tour and Tool 3 times on the last tour. Both are incredible

Nah, I was there. He sounded great the whole night. Better the first night by a mile, but still far better than when I first saw them in 2019. He barely spoke to the crowd then. He jokes around a lot more now.

​@@royalkuhnt8216I heard that he's very particular about the crowds that he interacts with. Like if he doesn't like the crowd's energy, or if he's just in a bad mood, he'll just face the wall for the whole set and won't say one word to the crowd aside from singing the lyrics.

@coreyschultz6575 I've seen them 6 times. Only time he was so low energy was 2019 before covid hit. After covid I've seen him joke around frequently, even if he didn't seem enthusiastic about the crowd. You can tell when he enjoys the crowd or is in a good mood, but he has done a better job of making it lately it seems
