“It smells funny in there.”
I love that even Homer's imagined scheme is pathetic and shoddy.
No it isn't..
@@Chiko-sc1gz - 😁 You're funny.
Yeah also that idea would get him in hot water with legal issues of amusement park operators and insurance agency along with cops. Since parents now would never be okay with this compared to decades earlier.
Shady you mean
That would be the right description for this since now it wouldn't be okay to do this and parents really would have a fit. Maybe back when this episode was made it was but now with smartphones it would definitely get you in hot water and in our times very fast like boiling.
Milhouse: It smells funny in there.
Homer: No it doesn't.
Classic moment.

WEEE OW I bit my tongue
The only thing possibly wrong with that clip is that Hans Moleman wasn't in the car that Homer rammed out of the way.
'ooOooh deear...'
Chazbot I was expecting that to
That and the car didn’t burst into flames after it was on its side.
Yoooooo me too!
I thought so too.
Same here
Homerland has to be Homer's most accurate day dream.
Waow!

Their backyard suddenly quadripled in size lol
Their backyard has gone through many strange things over the decades

In 1 episode the back garden borders the nuclear power plant car park, in another its the size of a field 😂😂
“It smells funny in there.”
“No it doesn’t.”
One of Homer’s greatest lines.
No
To me it's funny because he's probably gotten used to the smell of them. If intended that's really smart writing.
@@Mixima101 yes, some of the most memorable lines from the series arebrge result of good writing, something Family Guy could take a lesson from. Pop culture references every 5 seconds gets old fast.
Can you explain to me what's the joke ? Because I don't understand
What I love about that is that that's Homer's fantasy. He imagines having a terrible garbage heap of an amusement park that smells terrible as a great thing.
I love how his utopic vision of Homerland includes Nelson bullying other kids and Milhouse complaining about a smell Homer is convinced doesn't exist
What’s the kid’s name at 2:23?

Kids, kids once you get hurt move aside and let other people jump!

This one clip almost makes up for years of shaky episodes.
Almost!
Intransigence what do you mean? Classic Simpsons was the best
1:18
Now 2/3 of the entire series is shit with no end in sight.
Grandma Great’s Christmas
Yes, every modern simp episode is bad. All almost 500, not one good one! /s
The scariest thing about this is how accurate it is. As fun as trampolines are, they're just so accident prone.
Especially when the fabric starts coming apart overtime and when it's wet, you slip on an metal ladder one of the loose springs cuts your lip open. leaving a scar. I know that feeling all too well.
The captain of the Whale Sharks
Jesus, I hope you were alright.
That's good. :) I'm glad that you're okay.
Oh okay. thank's for sharing.
They are. Broke my femur on one when I was a kid. If you're gonna bounce, just do it alone lol
It's not certain that everyone will know the movie allusion --
The scrolling display of injured kids is a take off on the Battle of Atlanta field hospital scene in "Gone With the Wind" (1939).
Much obliged.
+chassimmons i thought it was from Gettysburg
I've been trying to find the name of that movie reference for years! Thanks! lol
I was wondering what that was a reference to.
Since when is the garden been so big
I'm still amazed Homer made it to the right address.
Mike Strider but did he? Maybe it was the wrong one but Krusty still had a cursed trampoline
I'm amazed Krusty has a normal house in a normal street as a TV star.
I'm surprised the trampoline wasn't already gone when he got there, especially considering Krusty took out an ad in the paper for it!
It was to krustys house, not to principle skimmers ;)
There once was a man named Enos,
Who wanted to go visit Venus.
But when he got there,
His lungs filled with air
That was deadly to one of his genus.
I love how even in Homer’s fantasy the fort is still crappy and smelly.
No it isnt :)
"Ooh! The Springfield Men's Shelter is giving away sixty soiled mattresses!" Homer reading the "For Free" section just before the clip starts.
Look above the trampoline ad: they're giving away a Vietnam War-era Flamethrower (that takes regular unleaded fuel) and a Fat Boy Bomb!
+The Ugly Barnacle and gratefull dead tickets......
+The Ugly Barnacle And a grave digger's lantern, apparently.
+redDL89 Good news: Free Bibles, call Ned.
+Nagrachlp lol
Look below the trampoline ad and you'll see the free Good and Plenty collection that dates back to 1962.
He's so excited, he forgets how to speak English.
I watched the video too
He can't properly read
That's the joke.
I don't think he knew
I've been there. Too excited to pronounce lol
I love the scene with Bart petting Santa's little helper, they could have just make Bart doing some evil scheme (like they would probably do in the new seasons), but he's just chilling with his dog, it was so wholesome :)
I love how the backyard turned into a civil war battlefield because of 1 afternoon with a trampoline
ong
Good parody of "Gone With The Wind"(1939)
@@goldenvulture6818 a man of culture, I see
"Trampoline World" was just a single fucking trampoline haha
Otto was the funniest injury btw.
"Stop jumping on me, I'm hurt!" Lmfao
If you had a trampoline as a kid it’s scary accurate
"i'm gonna have my wedding here"
that was so cute.
That is, if she decides to marry.

0:32 In less than 10 seconds, Krusty goes from angry to overly enthusiastic to down to business.
Homer’s reaction to the add for a trampoline is probably my favorite Homer moment in all of the simpsons
King of the Ogres his eyes bugging out in different directions!
I love the Gone With The Wind spoof at the end!
Is that what that was? I knew it had to be a reference to something.
This is has to be one of my favourite clips from the Simpsons ever.
So hilarious....
"OOHHH MY GAWWWWDD"
The first twenty seconds of this clip cracks me up.
Milhouse: it smells funny in there! Homer: no it doesn't!
It'll double the value of our house!
And quadruple the insurance rates
I love Marge's line, "Please, don't bring home anymore old crutches!" It's not only a hilarious line about Homer's excessive impulsivity, but I like it as a mantra for self-change. I like to say, out loud, in a scratchy, terrible impersonation of Marge, "No more old crutches!"
Homer Simpson and Marge Simpson
in my opinion this was the funniest period for homer
john quackers classic example of what John Schwartzwelder meant when he said he writes Homer like a big dog
Homerland really was that wonka experience in 2024 UK
1:59
I actually laughed out loud several times over the course of those few minutes. Old school simpsons were the best.
1:47 - I love when Homer’s fantasies aren’t very elaborate at all. 😄
When he was sitting on the couch dreaming of sitting on the couch.
SpongeBob and Simpsons pretty much predicted the Willy Wonka scam
Does anyone else wonder who was in the brown car at 0:20. Maybe it was Hans Moleman....
+Ratpop Genius I assumed it was Hans Moleman, it usually is. I was actually expecting it to be a Hans Moleman gag and ended up slightly confused when it wasn't.
My first thought was Ol' Gil.
Landon Bangerter Ol' Gil! That's also a good one.
I thought it was going to be Hans too
+VladimirReturns But Hans Moleman drives a gremlin...
"it'll double the value of our house" somehow I never really noticed that line the first 1000 times I watched this episode.
If having a trampoline suddently expands my yard to make room for the injured, sign me up for one.
That "OH MY GOOOD!" is my all-time favourite exclamation from Homer.
basically the willy Wonka experience (2024)
“ADMISSION $50”
Perfect.
I had a trampoline for years as a kid and the accuracy is scary, so many injuries, basically used it as a cage fighting arena
I had a trampoline as a kid. We never got hurt. When it snowed or sunny it was always super fun.
That sinister laugh when Krusty sell the trampoline 👈💯💯💯😱
Gotta love how the Simpsons' backyard became suddendly large enough to have hundreds of injuried children lying on the ground
Great parody of "Gone With The Wind"(1939)
"This one gesture makes up for years of shaky parenting"
*LMFAOOO*
*Almost*☝️
Well the trampoline did make their backyard bigger, so it did make the house go up in value.
Never did see Bart and Lisa that happy, at the same time.
Simpsons was so good back in the day.
No kidding
0:23 Homer's child-like reaction is still hilarious to me
Barely over 3 minutes and it's still packed full of hilarious stuff
Imagine being able to wipe your memory clean of these episodes and watch them all again with the enjoyment of seeing them for the first time.
“Please don’t bring home anymore old crutches!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Apparently their backyard can magically grow in size to make space for kids hurt by the trampoline.
Willy’s chocolate experience be like
Glasgow, Scotland
oh no you don't that trampoline is MINE!
Always reminds me how a couple years before this episode aired, me and my friends who lived next door tried to make their back yard into a neighborhood amusement park when they got their trampoline. Our fort was made mostly out of chairs and bedsheets though, not dirty mattresses lol. And we had swings tied to a spinning clothesline that we would spin as fast as we could. Like the trampoline, probably not very safe haha.
I love how Homerland in this episode inspired Krabby Land in Spongebob. in fact, Fort Adventure was used in both episodes.
That trumpet at the end really tied it together
Bart: I will never get tired of this Lisa: I’m gonna have my wedding here
2:51 THINK OF THE CHILDREN!
1:11 the way the screen shakes with Barts run is so funny to me
"It smells funny in there."
"No it doesn't!"
"What have we done to make God angry?"
"You did it!"
Love how the Simpsons and SpongeBob both feature a “Fort Adventure” that looks like it was assembled within a minute.
“no it doesn’t”. Pure comic gold there
Homer's philosophy, whenever someone says something negative to you, deny it.
2:54 those are not injured kids. Those are the actual reactions to watching the last 25 plus seasons of The Simpsons.
Joshua Kline that's a lie, all those children fell off the trampoline and got hurt or even DIED
^ It’s a joke.

NO KIDS WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS EPISODE
Homer = Pirates
Doorbell Spray = DRM
Krusty = Actual paying customers
TRAMAPOLINE TRAPAPOLINE
idk why but that first 10 seconds was so funny... the simpsons' humour was sometimes just unexplainable
I love how the simpsons always exaggerate their scenes, it’s make it so much more funnier
No it doesn't :)
“Each leap brings us closer to god!” “Catch me lord, catch me!” “What have we done to make god angry?”
You did it
More likely your dad did it
They clearly never read the Tower of Babel
Gee, I love how everyone quotes the very short videos we all have just watched on UA-cam. It's like so many can't come up with an original thought anymore.
"Thou shalt not put the Lord thy God to the test."
Today there are “Trampoline Parks”, and with similar or worse results.
"Krusty! I came back to return your--"
(Shotgun cocked) "You just keep on driving."
"It'll double the value of our house"
"Gone with the wind" at the end.
Childlike glee Homer is the best Homer. ( @0:28 )
5O BUCKS WHAT A RIP OFF
No it isn't.
1:57 even funnier when you realize this is all in homer's mind
That was the funniest video of the simpsons. 😂😂😂
Funny as hell
+Zboy Johnson I'm surprised Homer, Bart and Lisa didn't get hurt.
There used to be a fair in my area, where you could actually pay something like five dollars, I think, to jump on a trampoline for like ten or twenty minutes. They had a bunch of them.
I love how the back yard suddenly becomes 5 acres long of mangled children
One of the most memorable classic simpsons scenes for me since this was one of the first episodes I saw. Good times
Homer's eyes during "tramapoline!" :D
Oh my god! TrammanPoline! Trambompoline! Oh No you don't that trampoline is mine!
To quote Homer's enemy: this backyard is a palace!
Why have I never seen this clip before? Amazing old Simpsons
And that was how Disneyland came to be...
1:50 so that's where mr krabs got the idea for krabby land
This should be an educational video for trampoline safety.

That exchange has been in my memories forever.
0:19 For some reason I believe that's Moeman's car
It smells funny in there...
No, it doesn't.
I always love this scene. Its hilarious. Their backyard got bigger with all those bodies laying on the ground, lol.
There is no way in hell Homer is in good enough shape to jump that long
