  • (IFM-Kering Fashion Sustainability Certificate 2024 Contribution Projects)
Issued by the IFM-Kering Sustainability Chair, the Fashion Sustainability Certificate is an interdisciplinary program bringing together 40 students selected for their motivation to work on a real-life impact project. Complementary to the sustainability-related courses taught in each of the school's programs, it offers students the opportunity to work for 6 months on a concrete project, enabling them to address one or more aspects of sustainability: social impact, solidarity, materials revaluation, circularity, eco-responsible products, participation and commitment. On March 28th, 2024, the 6 contributing projects developed by IFM students of Fashion Sustainability Certificate have been presented to a jury of fashion industry experts and leaders of partner associations (Jean-Marc Bellaiche, President of the Printemps Group, Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, Vice-President of UNICEF France, Marie-Claire Daveu, Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer at Kering,Guy Morgan, Sustainability Director, Fashion at Chanel, Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, CEO of Isabel Marant, Françoise Gaille, biologist, scientific advisor at the CNRS and President of the Ocean Sustainability Foundation, Pierre-Arnaud Grenade, CEO of Bash, Jean Hingray, Senator for the Vosges and member of the Commission for Culture, Education, Communication and Sport, Rosalie Mann, Founder and President of the No More Plastic Foundation, Pascal Morand, Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode and Xavier Romatet, Dean of IFM).
For the first time, the jury was held at the Palais du Luxembourg (Senate) under the patronage of Senator Jean Hingray.
    Sustainable Fashion Horizons
Sustainable Fashion Horizons in partnership with Paris Good Fashion is a serie of conferences about the fashion industry's strides towards sustainability, uniting French, and international organizations to foster diverse perspectives. Across 5 conferences, the project engaged 800 participants on IFM’s campus and online, leveraging this with publications and social media. A website was developed as another communication tool where each conference and key takeaways were stored. This project will be continuing with the Committee “For Ever Young” launched recently by the association.
