Thank you, Craig! I needed a new pattern to keep my mind off … stress. And it needed to not be too complicated. But I also needed a soothing voice. Thank you for all the joy and calm you bring to my crocheting. 💕
I am so glad my daughter introduced me to fiber spider. I love your tutorials and crochet alongs. I enjoy the easy to follow tutorials without making us either feel like children or dummies. Also not so complicated that we need to look up stitches. Thank you fiber spider and keep chatting with us
I’ve been doing corner to corner baby blanket since 1980. I also do a lace version of the blanket. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new pattern. I bought Bernal Pop on sale. This pattern is perfect for the yarn that changes color. I’d send a picture if I new how to do it. Thank you so much.
Thanks, I'm a new coming to crocheting of 5 month ( broken ankle). I have viewed several tutorials which I had to start over because some talk to fast, do the stitches to fast, some no vocal - just someone doing the pattern, sample isn't long enough to catch on or they only do a few stitches & met you at the end of the chain. Since I have discovered your tutorials, I have COMPLETED (granny sq, Ribble granny sq, butterfly, basket, box stitches) 8 projects. You're wonderful 😘😍😜😳
Hi! I have always enjoyed both the gran n square AND the C2C patterns. Thank both you and the designer for bringing this to us. Take care and may God bless you always!
I love, love, love this stitch and design! Easy, gorgeous and versatile! I just went through literally all of your crochet patterns last night and you really manage to find and explain wonderful patterns. My next 2 projects are from your tutorials and I'm very grateful for your time and excellent teaching. With gratitude and love💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻Vicky💜
I started Afghan in mandala lion Brand color in warlock it’s turning out beautiful you help me get started you are so easy to understand I enjoy working on my Afghan please keep bring new things we can do
I had trouble getting the hang of the C2C as well 😉. I finally got it by watching Jayda in Stitches video as she explained it and the decreases easiest. 😊
Hi Spider Fiber,! I love this blanket. My son and his fiancé just had their first baby together, but he came at 23 weeks 😭so he has been struggling and fighting everyday to hang in there. Please say some prayers for our Lil grandson Georgie. He is 1 week old today. He weighed 1 pound and is 11 inches long. So I will need to go to the store and buy some yarn to make this special blanky for him so thank you for sharing this video. Sincerely,! Liz
I have been in the hospital at change wait to get home to try this out from my lap I been crochet for everybody else that looks like it's gonna be pretty from my lap thank you for showing how to do it
I love your tutorials, but unfortunately I can't watch this one. 😞 Your tutorials are always beautifully clear and easy to see and follow, but watching this one kind of gives me motion sickness. 😢
Some reason the picture is making me queasy.. but I want to learn how to make this.. I can’t read patterns.. none of your other videos do this..???still love you
I love you video's! They always go into great detail. I wish this video was longer, I just don't get it. It's a little confusing. I can follow the video fine, but I don't know what to do after the video ends lol. I love this and I am determined to figure this out, maybe one day you will do a longer video for this.
While I have enjoyed and been able to do all your videos I've watched thus far, this one was confusing to me. It is hard when you show a finished product from one type of yarn, and then do the demo with two different colors of different yarn, constantly referring to those colors as you changed them and did the respective rounds, i.e: 'join to the purple ...' etc. I was using a caron cake self-striping and thus became very confused as the pattern went up from one round to the next. Also, the speed of the video was too fast. When you 'turned' the work, the video quality was blurry so i couldn't see what you meant by 'turn'.
You can adjust the video playback speed by clicking on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, go to speed and adjust, just remember to return the speed back to normal when you're done with this video. Hope this helps you and others.
Love this so beautiful may I ask at some time could you possibly do a left handed tutorial on this I tried but just couldn't figure this one. Thank you either way it is beautiful. I'm just such a lefty.
Hi Spider. Very pretty blanket. Thank you for sharing it. I don't like the way the drawn up yarn looks in the back. Can I just weave in the yarn after changing colors? Thanks again. 😀
Emma Padilla I just got Fiber Spiders permission to interject... I would never do it without.., yes, you can weave in ends to hide the yarn you carry. I usually carry it beneath the first 3 dc of the next rows box stitch.
Box Stitch Square: Rnd 1: ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch sts. - 1 ch 3 sp and 3 dc - first cluster. ch 3, 3 dc over post of last dc ch 3, 3 dc over post of last dc ch 3, 3 dc over post of last dc slp st in ch 3 sp of first cluster Rnd 2: ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch sts. - first cluster. Turn and sc in last ch 3 sp of previous row. ch 2, 3 dc in same ch 3 sp. ch 3, 2 dc over post of last dc *sc in ch 3 sp of previous row ch 2, 3 dc in same ch 3 sp ch 3, 3 dc over post of last dc * Repeat * to * once more sc in ch 2 sp of previous row ch 2, 3 dc in same sp slp st in ch 3 of first cluster. - Four corners made Rnd 3: ch 6, dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 2 ch sts. - first cluster. Turn and #3 sc in last ch 3 sp of previous row. ch 2, 3 dc in same ch 3 sp# *sc in ch 3 of previous row ch 2, 3 dc in same ch 3 sp ch 3, 3 dc over post of last dc sc in ch 2 sp of previous row ch 3, 3 dc in same sp * Repeat * to * twice more sc in ch 2 sp of previous row ch 2, 3 dc in same sp slp st in ch 3 sp of first cluster Rnds 4 and beyond, corners will remain the same and sides will increase with # to # repeat. Note: I suppose I could have said to mark the first ch 3 sp of each row for more inexperienced crocheters, but it seemed obvious to me that it was a square at the end of the round.
Fiber Spider, is there a way to work this into a rectangle afghan? It is easy to make a rectangle for C2C. I like to make lapghan's for wheelchair patients and they need to be rectangle. Thank you.
Yeah it is blurry like fast movements and your camera can't keep up. I like the concept but I just have NEVER liked a square blanket for any application.
super unclear images Unfortunately too fast movements making it unclear very sorry because it is a nice stitch I get a little dizzy when I look at it sorry therefore quickly set up another video sorry for my honesty
You can slow the video down by clicking on the 3 dots at the top or where ever you see them, then click on play Back speed and you can make it go as slow or fast as you want to.. You can also get subtitles as well by clicking on captions.
I have tried to do this pattern but to no avail. Maybe you need to revisit this pattern and go slower.I feel there was to much attention paid to carrying your work than there was in showing how to do the pattern. Not everyone is going to use 2 different color yarns. I tried in a cake and was so lost ..Maybe another time it will click.. It is a nice pattern

Great to watch you I think you are the best I have tried to watch another video but it was so bad but now I will follow yours thank you
Hi! I have always enjoyed both the gran n square AND the C2C patterns. Thank both you and the designer for bringing this to us. Take care and may God bless you always!
What an odd pattern... I LOVE IT! To me, odd is interesting and fabulous and fun; 'odd' means COOL! Yeah, I'm definitely all in on this one!!
Fiber Spider, You're my favorite youtube channel; you're a natural born teacher. So patient !
I love, love, love this stitch and design! Easy, gorgeous and versatile! Thank you for this tutorial. Your teaching is impeccable. Your blanket is exquisite.❤️🤩
I love to follow Fiber Spider. Very clear instructions.
I dont know why but I have never been able to follow the c2c but you make it so easy. Your the best! Thank you!
This isn't the C2C
No I know it is different but he said its similar and so I figured when I got the hang of this c2c might be easier
I had trouble getting the hang of the C2C as well 😉. I finally got it by watching Jayda in Stitches video as she explained it and the decreases easiest. 😊
You really need to do it in one colour for those who don’t want to change colour or are using cake
Craig, I'm confused. I am using a continuous ball of yarn. Do I still join from the back at 12:30??
I missed this one somehow...wow, wow, wow, so beautiful!!!
I finally figured it out. and I like it better than the corner to corner, Thanks again for a great pattern,
Thanks for the videos you guys make it makes it so much each easier to catch up on things...

I had no idea it was called the box stitch! I just called it the c2c in the round! I’ve made a few blankets in this pattern. I love the way it looks.
Yeah that's what I called it 3 yrs ago went I first saw it. Love it
Love love love this Thank you so much. You explain things so well... ✋🏻👍🏼
I have been in the hospital at change wait to get home to try this out from my lap I been crochet for everybody else that looks like it's gonna be pretty from my lap thank you for showing how to do it

I'm loving this pattern already
Beautiful baby blanket spider thank you 💙...😊Amanda xx
Beautiful tutorial. Explained and you explain very well. This will make a wonderful blanket Thankyou. (Jennifer).❤
Thanks for another great pattern. It is beautiful.
It’s basically a c2c in the round. BlueRose Crochet has a similar video, with a slight change in the beginning.
Super awesome stitch, love it and thank you!
Very cool. Different from anything I’ve seen before. Will definitely be trying it. Would also make a great sweater
I love your tutorials, but unfortunately I can't watch this one. 😞 Your tutorials are always beautifully clear and easy to see and follow, but watching this one kind of gives me motion sickness. 😢
Linda Ziskey can I help?
I thought it was just me! Can not watch it myself😢
Excellent teaching! Beautiful!
I love your videos! I’m going to make this for my niece who is having a baby girl in a few months.

Emma Padilla there are ways to hide the previous row.,I can show you.
Shew! Motion sickness! This blanket looks beautiful! But did something happen in filming I’m so sorry 😔😢I love the blanket though ❤️
@fiberspider why do you prefer to join with a single crochet instead of a slip stitch?
I like this blanket.i started making it.
This is so cool! Thank you!
What a great idea
Love it!
I love this!
Very nice! Thank you
Bravissimo
I love the pattern would love for you to redo
I love this design but despite trying over and over I just cannot get this right despite being an experienced crocheted! I'm so frustrated.....
finally I just got it right.I am making it in one colour .
Wow good
Do you still have to turn your work if you are not changing colors?
Patricia Douglass you can turn
جميل جدا بس ياريت يبقي مترجم بالعربيه علشان نعرف نطبق الحاجات الحلوه دي
Please ask any questions for this pattern
I love the look of this pattern. Do you have a written pattern, I would love to see your version.

@@janetlong3400 Thank You so much!
SPIDER, do you know how to make a pattern that looks like ( XOX. ) ? It would make a beautiful blanket for my hubby 🤗 .
Fiber Spider, is there a way to work this into a rectangle afghan? It is easy to make a rectangle for C2C. I like to make lapghan's for wheelchair patients and they need to be rectangle. Thank you.
gotta get the yarn we also can cut and join the thread like I do om a granny square
Debra Marchetti yes, you absolutely can. And you can turn each round.
I like this pattern. Can you do a border? Is it a standard c2c border?
Is there a left hand tutorial
I love to crochet but sometimes the final product looks all lopsided.
Following
Is this similar to a c2c in the round?
This video is so confusing to me. I wish you would show us more rounds. I got lost in the last round and couldn't figure out how to keep going.
Is it possible to do this stitch and start in a corner rather than in the middle?
yes just do it corner to corner(c2c) plenty of c2c videos on UA-cam!
You are sweetheart
Is there anywhere we can get or buy pattern
QUESTION?? Do you have this in a written pattern to refer to when we can't watch the tutorial?? Hope so Thanks!!
Can anyone describe how to finish this in a neater fashion m? The final edge looks a little wonky
Is there a written pattern please
Yeah it is blurry like fast movements and your camera can't keep up.
I like the concept but I just have NEVER liked a square blanket for any application.
super unclear images
Unfortunately
too fast movements making it unclear
very sorry because it is a nice stitch
I get a little dizzy when I look at it sorry
therefore quickly set up another video
sorry for my honesty
You can slow the video down by clicking on the 3 dots at the top or where ever you see them, then click on play Back speed and you can make it go as slow or fast as you want to.. You can also get subtitles as well by clicking on captions.
No need to apologize for giving an honest opinion. I will keep your input in mind for the future, thank you.
@@FiberSpider Video is playing jerkily for me. Not sure why.
|Looks like others have had the same issue.
Although the end result is beautiful, I couldn't follow your ultra fast crocheting
. Very complicated and most unclear.
Video is to blurry and he was working to fast
Too blurry n fast
Man, am I dizzy from watching this video! Could you hold the camera steady, please? Other than that, neat patter.
I have tried to do this pattern but to no avail.
