Thanks for the great video. Im a Ford man but still enjoy watching local content especially when its builds done in house as much as possible. I hate farming stuff out personally and try to do as much as i can my self. Keep up the good work boys... nu sub too...
Brought lpg bf prob 18 months back. Converter rebuild heaps of shit then the pick up solanoid failes when thought it will run. But really its mint now slow but power. Oh yer rebuilt trans 5000. Do like it tho wagon an yer. Just nice long trip. Motor seems happy new coolant oil just everything. Only 10 grand. But like it. Wheel bearin next.
Sick video boys!! Im just about to LS swap my VS, what intake is that from vcm and and howd you get it to fit with the radiator etc 14:46 ?? Would love to know a parts list if possible??
The original car was designed in Germany from the VB to the VT they were sold as Vauxhalls and opels in the UK and Germany. Holden Australia just changed front and rear, interior and engine.
Yes, this was the first generation to the end of Holden. Such a shit vehicle, working for Holden in the late 80's throught to the early 2000, I witness the sliding scale of reliability and quality
Rotas in heavy cars dont really shine too good. Ask Moff when he used to punt that Rx around the Mountain back in the 80s. Th Rx weight penalty was the death of that thing. In light chassis applications they work oretty good thou.
Man that car has had some lives. So cool to see it live again with another wicked engine combo.
It sure has! I wonder what will happen next ahah

Vcm otr, from a vt-vz, tilted the radiator and made new brackets
@elheffeschopshop killer boys! Loved the video, first video I have watched and thoroughly enjoyed!!
Thanks man! Glad you liked it :) that's why I do it ahah
I want to see a 5 cylinder Mk1 Golf and also a turbo replacement on a Skoda
Good on ya boys.
What sensor is that into the otr ?
Without rewatching, I would guess intake air temp?
Just subbed mate and watched your subscribe count click over😂👌
Hahaha thankyou sir
Sweet would i be able to pick Dales brain on the LS conversation for my VR
Tuff mounts kits are good but headers have to be 'massaged' and everything is super tight.
What's your plan?
@dalewilliams3524 VT LS1 into VR Calais Project
I know the column and possibly rack will be a pain, due to that electric power assist thingo
@23:10 hey look at that cool Corolla that’s at a sensible ride height that couldn’t at all be deemed “too low” by anyone or any authority
Whilst I agree with you... some may not 🤣🤣
@heefworks If you look closely the exhaust is approx 2 feet past the bumper, hope no police officer notices
This car looks very much like a vauxhall senitor what we had in the uk the frount end look like a vauxhall cavalier surely there's q connection
I believe Holden liked ripping off ideas 😅

Look on UA-cam for the 88 Vauxhall senator it looks like a VN except for the front and rear.
I looked into it aswell never heard of holden before but there part of gm.
@@Fordmad90 look at my thumbnail picture, it's a 84 VK Holden Calais.
Damn it remember him telling me the VN rotary was coming back to his channel
Apparently it is, just not this vn
I was looking at a tuff mount kit
Apparently the mounts were good but they headers were not
Great video boys! Wondering what you did with the rack without power steering, can you run a ps rack without fluid or is it a manual rack??
This one is a capped ps rack, unsure if it is ideal, but seems to work mint
@elheffeschopshop fair enough. Is it hard to steer or is it not too bad?
Pretty standard compared to a non ps rack
Where did Dale get that incredible shirt?!
There's a link in the description, but I'll post it here too :)

I want to see a VN ss
Morning mate
Hey fella
What did it cost ???
The vn is for sale for $26k :)
Be nice.

Btr rebuild lost oil n cooked. Lot would say its shit only lpg wagon dick. But to late ive saved it n nice cruiser now'
Ls swap a EL falcon a real car not a dunny door
Dam man this video is so hard to listen to in the shed with the echoing
Sorry about that, it was waaaay worse on the first attempt with a mic, I'm not sure how the mic made it worse agah
oh no...not another LS
Thank God that rotary junk got pulled out of it 👍
Some people loved it, some people hated it ahah
3 power strokes per rotation tend to scare off people who like pushrods
