There is lots of great products out there. We are not personally familiar with that however we use multiple ways to remediate mold which are not that. For expert insight fill out a Ask a Ninja Form - crawlspaceninja.com/ask-a-ninja/
Vapor Barrier itself is a moisture retardant. Mold wants to grow on moisture. As long as the crawl space is at 45-50% relative humidity. Your crawl space should not experience mold
There are paints and additives that claim a mold kill or prevention but make sure you read the fine print. Here is an additive that claims "Mold and Mildew Defense" amzn.to/445cxai
@@CrawlSpaceNinja Thank you for your reply. My problem is on drywall. I decided to the following: I sprayed my moldy area with peroxide 12% and the cook it in UV light for about a week. The spray again and scrub. Ten UV for a couple of days. If the area looks clean I'll paint with the kilz mold primer for a few coats then regular paint. We'll see how long it works. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks for your help!
@@cobracommander8133 It worked. The You UV light did the job with the peroxide 12%. Brushed off the dried moldy area. Reapplied. And did it again several times. Then painted it. Mind you. That my wife brought up the possibility of it coming back from backside of the drywall. Where it could be hiding spores. So I'm monitoring with mold test kit every other month. I'll continue to do so for a 1.5 yrs. to 2 yrs. Wish me luck.
Killz makes an odor neutralizer primer made specifically for strong odors such as pet urine etc. It works very well.
Ty! I need to block a musty smell in an old home. Did remidiation, fogging, gassing still there🤷
@@lordsgirl111 Its in your materials. You need to get rid of any material affected.

Is cork spray paint in a crawl space ok? It's vapor permeable and supposed to be mold resistant

What about the odor of KILZ itself? It's rather strong. How long does this odor last and is it toxic to breath? (ie in kitchen cabinets)
I am not sure how long it lasts or if it is toxic. You can look up the SDS here: www.kilz.com/data-sheets thanks for watching.
Great info. Thanks.
Thank you. I am glad it helped.
Very informative. Thank you, Sir.
Thank you so much.
The active ingredient is the Zinc Oxide
No, it's titanium dioxide
