Thank you Felix (and Affinity) for the brushes and the outstanding tutorial. You explained so many techniques and I am deeply grateful. I loved your opening with the roll of toilet paper where you had written down your notes. You are an artist and a budding comedian. Keep up the excellent work!!
Felix! What a pleasure finding your in-depth fantasy image tutorial, and thank you for providing the Dreamphography brush set to help us create our own "stories!" Greatly appreciate the time and effort it took to make this video. Your English is just fine, and you DID spell "Bubbles" correctly, so no need to worry. Spend your energy focusing on your whimsical talents. All the best!
Thank you Felix for taking us inside your studio and for explaining your setup. Your Affinity Photo 2 masterclass was most valuable and inspiring. Many Thanks.
thank you Felix, that was impressive- from the artistic approach to the organized workflow like naming your layers correctly. Was great to watch even though it’s meanwhile in the middle of the night. And big shoutout to Affinity for having you.
Thank you Felix for providing a fantastic set of brushes, and your expertise on the use of them. I would love to see more tutorials around these brushes
Thank you! Really fascinating! Grateful for your willingness to take us into your realm, your space of creation and your process. The work you do is fantastic! Kudos to Affinity for always coming up with wonderful and creative ways to ignite the Affinity community!
Thank you Felix, it is always good to see this kind of approach in one's work, it is really true that creativity has no limits, this example you wanted to share gave me many interesting insights.
This was really interesting and a pleasure to look at. It's a great way of learning what is possible with Affinity. Compliments to Felix Hernandez and Affinity. Can't wait to try these brushes.
Thank you Felix, Your video was awesome. Nice to hear how much time and work went in this process, as most people think it could be done in a half day.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and getting some insight into your creative process. I've saved your video so that I can easily come back to it. I am excited to try out your brushes and give your tutorial a try. Thank you!
Thank you Felix for sharing your knowledge. I will try to repeat your creation. I am always fascinated about what is possible. and thanks a lot for the brushes - unbeliveable. 🙂
Thank you !!! I enjoyed every second and will definitely watch it again. Great that you share your work and thanks for the brushes !!!! Your work and your video is very motivating for your own work and creativity. Thank you again and all the best for you.
Amazing job Felix! glad to know your process. Thanks to the Affinity team for sharing it, beautiful production! By the way... The 2.0 apps for Ipad are perfect 🔥❤ Greetings from El Salvador 🇸🇻
Felix' video of what he does was positively fascinating!! Over my many years, nearly 80 of them, I have always been curious about special effects and how they are created. He must be some kind of genius to have figured out what is possible, what is impossible, and then makes the latter one possible! I loved this video and Affinity for providing the rest of us "mortals" the opportunity to see what we, too, could possibly do! Thank you so very much. Jude Hibler
Hey Jude, don't make it bad...Take a sad song and make it better.... (The Beatles)... Your kind comment makes this creative session even better!... Thanks mate.
@@Dreamphography You are so very welcome! I could not believe all that you did!!! Thank you again for such a stimulating and delightful exercise in what is possible. You are, indeed, an inspiration, Felix. (Thanks for the Hey, Jude reference, too. I've had such fun with that song over the years.) Kind regards, Jude
Outstanding! This is way out of my league. Reminds me of the old scifi movies I would watch! 😀 I'm new to the program. When I import a 1080p image, the layer panel doesn't show on the right side. Is there something that I need to adjust? Appreciate the help! Thanks!
Me hubiera gustado tener unos subtitulos en español pero es increíble todo lo que enseñan en estos canales. Me encanta affinity, cuando empieze a chambear voy a tratar de conseguir la V2
Thank you for the brushes. I've just installed them and can't wait to get started using them. Will the YT video be available to see after because I won't be able to watch live unfortunately ?
Since we are working with transparencies the info of the two layers (mountain 1 and mountain 2) overlap... So to avoid that overlap, you just have to "take away" the info of mountain 2 that overlaps with mountain one.... You select the info of mountain one... and on layer of mountain two delete that info. Sounds confusing, I know, but it's pretty simple. Hope this helps a little bit.... Thanks Tana.
Hey! Thank you for your time! I am curious to know what is the fog machine you used and what is the little shortcut board on your desk? Boom you rock🎉🎉🎉
Question how do u delete the information from a next layer with deleteimg the other layer ? i keep on deleting the Mountain 2 layer .....can u help? I'm very new to all of this but grasping it so well , Thank you for this wonderful Tutorial
Hi Fireball, not sure exactly what you mean but in the video Felix hides the Mountains 1 layer to work on the Mountains 2 layer - in general, the layer you have selected in the Layers Panel is the one you will affect. Hope this helps
Tried to download the "TRY" version, but for windows it create a file named "affinity-photo-2.0.3" with no extension. I can't even run a file in windows without an extension.
Hmmm just installed brushes in both Affinity Designer and Photo and get a prompt saying successfully installed but brushes don't show in the Brushes tab for either application
Hello Fellix, thanks for the brushes, I managed to install them successfully, but they don't appear in the brushes folder, both in Affinity Designer 1 and in Affintiy Photo 1. Could you explain to me what could have happened? Thanks.
Hi, yes they are compatible with Affinity Designer, since they are raster brushes you will find them in the Pixel Persona and not the Designer Persona (which is default).
Thank you for taking the time to show us how to utilize the brushes and share with us your expertise.
Thank you Gigi... glad you enjoyed!
