Box stock that dogs got wheels! Better than my Arrma Gorgon was out of the box. Now she's brushless, and I think that dog could easily hit 50 on a brushless system.
Fenton was cool, i liked the fact he stopped chasing when the car stopped, ive seen too many dogs attack them, Fenton was just having a good time. Bless Fenton 👊

To be fair most of this damage probably happened after the first break and kev went into "ITS GETTING IT NOW!!" mode.

I wouldn't be surprised if Proline changed their plastic formula to make manufacturing cheaper after they were bought by Horizon.

@@cbrduck7846 Proline wheels sucked back in the 90's back in the RC10 days and often required modifying to make fit properly.

Was digging the video then the dog chasing the cars made me so happy my parents dog loves chasing my rc when I go visit them.
M2C make amazing parts it's now looks good, fast and tuff for sure it's at least 200% better than stock.

I would love to see you do a series of buying used cars on Facebook marketplace and fixing/doing them up. I've bought 2 nitros and an electric RC (8th scales) and been able to fix them up for less that a tenner each. Could be a fun series!

All these M2C parts probably cost as much as the the original truck itself. Its a beautiful beast now tho.
I noticed parts that needed to be drilled to the correct size for fitment. And the drive cups didn't fit. The parts should come out of the wrapper ready to install, insted.of let's make it work. Do any of the aftermarket companies have an engineering department? It doesn't appear to be so.
@robertnewland8358 the Big Rock M2C parts are originally for the 1/7 Mojave and Fireteam. Maybe that has something to do with the parts needing slight modification to fit?

The hole in the centre must have a very close fit to the thread. I had this issue on some 1/8 buggy wheels, reamed out the centre a bit and BOOM! Fixed.......when the hole is too snug and you do the nut up real tight the plastic squeezes into the thread and they become threaded on, with the hex stopping rotation, fun times! 😆

@Pablo668 Yeah, I'd just been watching a video where a guy couldn't get the wheels to come off a Losi LMT, they were pinched onto the threads. Can be a right bugger!
Arrma should give Keven a Job fixing their bent chassis. Only Kevin can fix the defects with a bash session. 😂

The Proline hex breaking and stripping that quickly is hilarious, definitely not trying to push their upgrade to sell you more stuff 🤔
Haha I would never buy their shit. W/ the plastic hex, they’re way heavier, yet weaker somehow. With the metal hex, they’re just significantly heavier than stock and the rims still break where the metal adapter mounts to the wheel hahaha

Kev the reason the diff cups didn’t fit is because the bigrock has exb gears And they have a different size shaft m2c makes ones for the exbs(:

I've used my Kraton as a tool for exercising my dogs for a couple years now. Can't beat it!

ALSO, if you get 3 or 4 doggos to chase its actually pretty funny to watch. You will ALWAYS find a speed demon in the bunch and a yapper/barker in the bunch.

Removing the washers for the front drive shafts is what I did on my kraton & it worked. No more shafts popping out.

Great vid, dog was an absolute star, however after seeing the carnage on this RC has discouraged me from buying one, thought Arrma would have learned from the sledge and not made one with the motor wires near the exposed pinion

One thing about RC, I will not send it as hard as you guys. Mine is a used xmaxx 6s and pretty happy as I can't even do backflips. The cost of breaking parts I would like to keep it on the minimal. Don't get me wrong my main passion is MTB and I can say I'm not a terrible rider, and I can attest breaking parts on an RC is more than I break on every mountain bike ride 😂.
The proline center hubs are amazing. I had the worst luck with the badlands until I got the center hubs. No issues since.

Good to see that they’re using the stronger 29mm diff stuff for the big rock, but unfortunate for you that you have the wrong M2C cups! If you want m2c ones that fit the diff, order them for the Kraton EXB.
I would love to see a video where instead of buying a car, bashing it and then upgrading it. I’d love to see you just buy all the upgraded parts and build a car from scratch and then show us the cost difference and how much better the upgrades are from the beginning!
