This is the best top 5 list ever! Kevin knows his RCs. I agree, my Raminator is the most fun RC Car\Truck! I just got the Mud Truck version and can't wait to send it in a mud bog! My other Raminator is brushless with a custom Ford Raptor extended cab body and extended rear links for a long wheelbase. It was 24 inches stock, now it has a 30-inch wheelbase. It looks sick and handles so well!

Have you had it in a lot of water/snow? I'm about to pull the trigger on one, but I live in a super wet/snowy environment, so I want to make sure it can take that kind of punishment as well.

Components say they are water proof as well.
its gonna be as good as anything else but you always have to service rcs that get wet after a run if you want it to last
@@KevinTalbotTV true i give it a wipe with some kitchen roll then give it some wd-40 (strengthens chassis right)

These are all the most insane rc cars to have, if you were to have one collection, this is it. Such a great hobby, most normies don't understand why I'd spend more on rc gear then my vehicle until I handed then the transmitter to my Savage Flux I used to have. They would go from hater to asking where they could get one lol.
Anyway had to sell my rc gear to make the rent unfortunately, it's extremely expensive to live in Canada. Love watching your channel Kev, it's how I get my rc fix and inspiration to get back into the hobby. Awesome work man👍

Which is better brush motor or brushless motor
Son has an arrma granite that we upgraded to 4x4 and brushless and it's a beast. We just got our xmaxx in on Friday and took it out today. I can say that thing is an absolute monster and so easy and fun to drive!

I'm late to the party, but the best in my menial collection has got to be the BLX Senton 3S. It's given me the confidence to want more Arrma stuff.
Same dude. The Senton is a blast. I prefer my 6S Mojave in my environment but man the Senton is hard to beat
@@Krapper515 the Mojave is really sweet. I think instead of going from 3S to 4S on my next one, I'll go right to 6S and then I can just double up my 3S batteries. I've been thinking of the 6S Typhon BLX

Hey Kev, so I remember a while back when you were racing your cars, and no matter what you did the foams blew out on your car. Something you may try is a kind of run-flat tire, maybe a rubber-plastic compound so even rubber-carbon fibre, and make the actual tire kind of the honeycomb run-flat variety. Also, if you can find tires that are just the compound (maybe 3d print?) They won't have a chance to blow up, they'll just keep losing layers. Some things to think about 🤔
Ever thought of releasing your own brand of RC's.? You have alot of loyal fans Kev, you might do alright. If anyone knows what makes a good RC, it's you mate. Plus you'd have good connections. Co-lab with some manufacturers even. I'd love a Talbot RC collection.

I started playing with RC cars way back when I was about 14 (43 now). First one was a Tamiya Super Blackfoot, then moved into an RC10GT wayyyyy back. had MANY Traxxas and team associated. Been getting back into this all but don't have a new truck....yet! Man do I hope to win these.... I'd be 14 all over again! Best luck to all! Great channel Kev! Awesome content here my man!

Hey Kev love the vids I’m 13 and trying to get into the hobby but can’t find the money to do so any suggestions, and keep up the good work.
It does seem to be more about completions than reviews and testing these days kev. Be nice if the video had a main focus or aim and the competition was just an aside to that, rather than the main thing. When i saw the title i thought you were doing some reviews😮

I really love all your videos, I am in Australia and sadly, Australia is having supply problems with traxxas, I am tryna get a slash so I might have to wait a while, at least you content is keeping me all rc'd up (also, when will you do another video with a slash, I feel it gets like no respect, the arma senton is very similar). (you should do a comparison)
What kind of terrain you have? Like a track and stuff?
