I found with my pug that getting her to bark instantly stops the reverse sneezing. Even just one bark does it. So I keep audio of dogs barking handy because that always sets her off on a barking spree.

That is a good tip I should try when it happens to my dog. Thank you!

my dog gets it like 3 times a week. I've had dogs in the past that had this too.

That's not normal. It shouldn't happen that frequently. No no. You need to go to the vet for that. It's more complicated.

My terrier lab mix does it a few times a week whenever she eats too fast, if I can get her to bark or drink water it stops.

My dog linky had reverse sneezing and it continues time to time so often for a week , thats when we decide to see a doctor after Xray he was diagnosed with bronchitis.
She had to be given antibiotics steroids and vitamin C, it did not stop immediately but its keeps on getting better and better everyday.
So please if it keeps on continue its better to see Vetenary as soon as possible
    Thanks

Some other video said it was harmless. Oof.

it is....not sure what her credentials are but every single vet holding her same credentials say its harmless in 99% of the cases...even reoccurring cases...

and just because she said to ask your vet if it occurs again doesnt mean the solution to the problem is serious...they could just have allergies...

@@coconutsciencegirl9232 Totally agree. I have a dog that does this a couple times a day and another that does it about once a week or so, and my vet said to just let them sneeze lol. It’s not anything that is concern causing. I found it strange that the woman didn’t even want to demonstrate the sound for viewers. How will pet owners that have never heard of this even know how to identify it? Terrible interview in my opinion.

    Booooo
The Dr was to stuck up to demo the sound ? Or worried how she will look on tv ?
She could of brought a sample vid at least for pet owners to hear

Or caused by the Bordetella intranasal vaccination like my poor baby 😡

Really how????? Cause my boy had this too after the vaccinations and i dont trust VETERINERIans anymore please what did u did?

@@alreemal7387 it’s just an unfortunate side effect on the airwaves, all for a vaccine that isn’t necessary. There wasn’t anything to reverse it, they just have to live with it. The plus side is they will live a very normal life, they’ll just have these boughts from time to time. It sounds and looks awful but they’re ok, they will always get their airway cleared and carry on like normal.

What happened to your baby? This is what happened to my baby too after the Bordatella vaccine ! It’s been 6 weeks and he hasn’t gotten better after Benadryl .
