Really appreciate Tata Motors still retaining Diesel engine for some more time, hope they reach expected milestones soon✌🏻
A very inspiring interview, in terms of what Tata is planning for the near future!!! Tata is truly a pride of India!!!
Harrier E.V. will be.. a Blockbuster.. ..
A big salute to Tata Motors
Fantastic interview. Proper auto journalism and crisp and confident MD. That's what attracts customers. 🙂👍
Excellent interview Hormazd. Especially Enjoyed the bits where tata was pressed for answers to some tricky questions.
And equally well answered.
So much expected from Tata Motors in the near future, and clearly are going to set new heights in the coming days.
This guy is a gem ❤️ i hope i will buy tata curvv petrol and i know curvv gonna be a major and massive hit ❤️
Someone should tell him to improve the structure of customer service after the purchase. EV charging stations need to be provided near highway toll areas and other areas. For safety TATA is in top spot in its segment of cars but Infotainment, reverse camera need to be competitive.
Kudos to Tata motors🥂👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼
I love the interviews of Autocar with Tata Motors. They give an insight what the economy is going through and what is in the store as future of India.
Any update on Release of Safari Red dark edition?
What about Tata Safari Red Dark Edition launch and official bookings?
Wish Tata the success they deserve!
Why is noone asking if the DCA will come to the Nexon, if the TGDI engines will come to the Nexon and the altroz, when is the Nexon rearlift coming?
just imagine Mahindra BE stand
that would be lit
Nano ev could kill ev market 😅
when will harrier petrol version is going to launch in the market? expected timeline?
Tata has the capability and must focus on the hybrid petrol engines as a long term strategy especially today where people are moving away from diesel...
I thought definitely there would be a question about their perspective towards hybrid technology and their plans
I hope Tata will be the last ones to pitch on Diesel’s and I will be their customer in takers…as with deeply in love with Diesel’s
Tata is always the best
Glad for retaining Altroz diesel
when will nexon dca be launched?
Diesel hybrids can be an option.
Bas nexon ka tail light chabge karo yaar..looks sooo off beat
Tata motors is not a car brand it's emotion which are continuing Ratan Tata's legacy.........
Did he say safari ev?
Team Autocar
Waiting to meet u all
Plz plan a fan meet up in New Delhi
Sad to see there is no word on tiago replacement.
Even I wonder why they are not making small cars
Nano.EV yes thats what we want
Great job tata.. no one had thought such beautiful car are coming out of tata plants .. we were tired of these indica look a like cars for ages . What a shfit.... Vibrant colours are great addition.. kudos for that. Please make power windows abd head rest as standard.. dont be stingy on small things ..
What about safari classic????
Nice to see Tata taking the market by storm. That being said, it's pretty perplexing to see all the car manufacturers jump into the EV bandwagon mindlessly.
Personally I feel the EV bubble is going to burst in a couple of years when all the current EV cars face inevitable battery degradation and other real world problems.
Let's not even get into the lack of charging infrastructure and also the time needed to charge a car which is at least 1 hour as compared to barely 5 minutes for an ICE engine.
Honestly I think Toyota has a made a more intelligent bet on Hybrid engines and if the EV bubble bursts Toyota will be the only alternative for the market. And given their unmatched reliability Toyota and maruti stands to gain the biggest in India.
Finally
Anyone having idea when they are gonna bring harrier face lift
When are their planning Harrier EV?
Tata love
Somebody better ask about Nexon facelift please🙏
Is Nano ev coming...?
🙏🇮🇳❤️
Launch or Unveil?
Safari EV! Wait, what?
एक सवाल रह गया hybrid technology का???
Tata should move away from Diesel only and move to high power petrol and Hybrid Strong. only EV is good but range is a problem let us see how Tatas get over it.
Never.....!! Hybrids are not going to come in india
Tata safari
if we see average kms driving is less.. an EV initial cost then battery cost post 8yrs.. doesn't make sense.. it seems a clear game of money menting ...
Tata sierra is under design for 5 years and still they need 3 years more.
Only my grandson will be able to drive one 🤣🤣🤣
Flex fuel and hydrogen fuel are the future for indian automobile fuel requirements

This design was first presented 3 years back. They'll launch it 3 years later. Then there'll be a 12 month+ waiting period. By then, it'll look so dated.
Now who thinks people will still want split headlamps, massive front grills, unnecessary all round black plastic cladding, fake exhausts, hideous chrome garnishes, or an SUV itself in 2026-27?
