Im using nexon ev max for the past 1.4 years and completed 30k kms, your point is very correct, my usage is chennai city and to travel my native my native is 275km from chennai. Mostly i charged in home. Automatic refinement in evs are far better than petrol and diesel automatic. Refinement - better than petrol Torque - better than diesel Only cons we cant recommend to everyone. If anyone regularly usage less than 300 surely try a ev.
(Being a diesel lover very sad to say this😢) As said by Asir, though SCR is introduced, the nature of traffic is not predictable and getting dpf warning unavoidable. I would like to bring a situation for an example, thing of a crawling nature of traffic in december rainy season commute to office, on the fifth day you get a dpf warning in the middle of a traffic. It is really annoying... Some body would say driving the car in highway for some time would clear the clogging and what is to worry about... This is really funny one of the reason for buying a diesel vehicle is mileage, why should I waste my fuel by driving without any reason... Even if you do that, the 10th day the dpf is clogged again... Some can claim that one using diesel in cities and driven 20k kms but so far no dpf warning, for them i would say it is completely based on the density of the traffic and how quick you are moving.. As said by MW team if you are predominent city user, eye closingly go for car with NA petrol and comfortable suspension.. Again the terms handling is not for the one who live in city.. Let's be practical not to over hype the latest fun terminology..
Hi Asir bro, I'm watching your channel for 2 years, I have gained a lot of Automobile insights from you and your team. Please make a video about Diesel Hybrid Engine regarding its concept and testing done by some companies, in which it will be very dominating in which it would be very helpful. If possible kindly also talk about Bio Diesel vehicles as well.
When you say turbos are not needed for cities , there are models which are forcing the people to buy turbos Eg nexon , 3xo does not give petrol NAs itself So the market itself is pushing the people to buy turbos Plus the 1.2 NA in the venue is so under powder it forces them to buy turbos This is where the midsize 1.5 NAs comes they are not so underpowered like the sub 4 meter NAs , it easily puts out 115 - 120 hp So after considering all these issues We skipped these sub 4 meters and bought the elevate 1 5 ivtec
Dear @Motowagon team, There are 2 things about CNG that your team and other auto channels miss to talk about CNG 1. When you fill CNG all the passengers has to come out of the car. Think about Ertiga, your father sleeping in the third row and you have to wake him up to fill the gas.. 2. CNG cars by default can use CBG (Compressed Bio Gas) There is one station that I know exist in TamilNadu for CBG. CBG will soon become popular as it is manufactured from solid wastes and is 100% renewable energy. You can do some research on this and give a 10~20 mins content on it. Thanks

Hydrogen fuel seems to most promising for the future. EV's can be implemented upto trucks but for Air travel, it is definitely not feasible. Even Airbus is developing engines for hydrogen fuel and looking ways to mass produce and store H².
Considering the EV battery risks and its immaturity, range anxiety and lack of charging stations, combined with the higher initial costs vis a vis ICE - hybrid seems to be the lowest risk option with a best of both worlds.
Dear Motowagon team recently i came across Throttle enhancer for cars and by seeing the owner reviews, i understand that throttle response is improved in their cars. But i would like to know whether installation of throttle enhancer will affect the ECU or any other components of car on a long run? What are the advantages and disadvantages of throttle enhancer? If possible could you please make a short video or shorts about this subject so that it will be really useful for our Motowagon family? Thanks in advance for your consideration.
The only difference between a 1.5 ivtec and a 1.2 tgdi of a 3xo , the ivtec produces 120hp and the tgdi does around 10hp more and a torque of 300nm. So yes the turbo puts out more torque and bit more hp but how the power is delivered is what that matters A three cylinder turbo operates at a narrow range , so its upto the driver to get the best out of it and in city below 2000 rpm its pretty unusable and at higher rpm you cant rev more due to its technical limitations Whereas my ivtec revs upto 7000 rpm the engine is made to deliver power in a linear way , and its more tractable So these turbos makes people think that the turbo engines are more powerful, but actually its not exactly right . Eg a small turbo will struggle climbing hills than equally powered 1.5 NA
@@SureshKumar-fk2qr if you mean under 10 lakhs onroad , then all the market offers you is NA , or a base Nexon will give you a turbo for 9.6 lakhs. So what is your requirement?

Hello team, I've a quick question. In auto AC we have the option to control temp whilst in manual car AC if we increase temp will it improve fuel efficiency or simply will it mix hot air with cool air to maintain temp? In other words, increasing manual AC temp will reduce compressor running time or not?
I would certainly Buy EV, considering the fact, I need break every 4 Hours, 20-30min break is good. As long as Im able to plan the trip, I still opt EV cars.
So sir, with all the facts buyers should make practical reality about their choice. India is in transition, for city public services EV s are good option .

Please speak about LPG fitted petrol cars, you guys completely skipped that topic, CNG availability is rare and also it'll completely occupy boot space but LPG is easily available if we use toroidal tank boot space also not much taken, need a detailed discussion regarding this
Unless we generate all electricity using solar, there is no clean EV. We are only moving the pollution to a different location using an EV as of now, not reducing. What about electricity transmission losses from a far off location?
EV always has range Anxiety... unless true range exceeds 12 hrs drivr at 80 to 120 range, it will never be true primary car. Battery tech has long way to go to achieve...

EV is going to be a big flop, world wide unless you allow Chinese to operate directly. Make in India is a real stupidity. Even the two wheeler market is struggling. EV is 100% Chinese origin. The government has no logic in taxing the EV products to make them more expensive than the petrol diesel vehicles.
