You sure said it, Armier! - & that's not just bcs. we share the same lats name! lol. -- Tracy Everitt, here in the video, 57 yrs. ago, is my dear friend and erstwhile tap dance teacher. He is pretty much my favorite person in the whole world. OK: top 3 or 5. A DEDICATED lover of our 1 Earth and Environment - and a smart, gorgeously-read (but so modest), proud Socialist. He and Judy Garland. SUCH fine, fine souls. w/ such GREAT, BADASS humor! Ahhh, their stories ... you could listen for HOURS ...
Tracy Everitt went on to teach dance, for many years. I was very fortunate to study ballroom swing, salsa dance with him from 2000-2002, when he had his Ballroom Dance Center/Hoboken. I have never been more inspired, or learned so much, about not only dance, but life in general. I know he appeared in the film"The Irishman", briefly, in one of the ballroom scenes. Mr. Scorsese should do a film on Tracy's life next. Enlighten the world, to the world of dance, and about one should approach it..with much joy...and mindfulness...
PS Tracy studied with Paul Draper at Juilliard, and appeared in the original West Side Story on BWAY, and other shows. He was a fabulous innovative tap dancer.
Tracy Everitt was in four Broadway shows in the late 50s and early 60s as a dancer. This show and a couple appearances on TALENT SCOUTS were his only TV appearances. No films.
So good, I had to stop before it reached the end, rewind ,and watch it from the beginning. Thanks for posting...young Liza, nothing so good as her innate ability to dance, coupled with the youth and strength to work tirelessly. And who is this guy? Tracy Everett? He's excellent.
I think Tracy Everett was just a name used for this show. I think the actor dancing with Liza Minnelli is Chris Robinson, who played Dr. Rick Webber for years on General Hospital.
If this isn't Chris Robinson, it certainly looks like him. www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2F50plusworld.com%2Fapp%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F11%2FChris-Robinson-1959-Diary-of-a-High-School-Bride-movie-trailer-no-visible-copyright-in-PD.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2F50plusworld.com%2Fcelebrating-seniors-chris-robinson-is-78%2F&tbnid=506G7n7W7F7yKM&vet=12ahUKEwj69-jOhZDtAhWCcqwKHW7ZCd4QMygMegUIARClAQ..i&docid=cYWNiO7o_WjujM&w=710&h=401&q=chris%20robinson%20actor%20young&hl=en&ved=2ahUKEwj69-jOhZDtAhWCcqwKHW7ZCd4QMygMegUIARClAQ
Tracy is an accomplished dancer and a long time teacher of dance. As of 2023, he is still alive and living in Hoboken. He was not, however, Liza's "beau".
@Thora Friganza No he didn't choreograph this but it is clearly Fosse 'inflected'. He had been working and influential for years by the time this show was done.
Beyond cute! And I have to wonder, what if Liza had gone completely off-course, and married a straight guy like Tracy, had one child or more, settled down and worked less, spent less time getting drunk and high, which can cause miscarriages.
gay men party hard in the fast lane. whenever straight women become jaded with straight men and start hanging around with gay men all the time, they end up living life in the fast lane right along with them. that's probably what happened to Liza. she had a blast though, I'm sure.
Rest in peace.
Judy Garland.
She was the most wonderful that this world created.

Tracy Everitt, one of the lead dancers on Judy Garland's shows.

Oh super !!!
Very funny🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
she was from where ju g abd the year of spectacl
I remember this routine from the movie 'The Pajama Game" Liza and Tracy were good, but Carol Haney and company really take it to the next level.
Thx; will check that out. Carol sure could dance. 1st show choreographed by Bob Fosse, I believe.
Shouldn't 'Tracy Everitt' be in the video title? Along with the year, 1963?
How. Lucky are we to have UA-cam?❤️❤️
Bob Fosse style from the beginning! Cabaret was the culmination.
@Thora Friganza No he didn't choreograph this but it is clearly Fosse 'inflected'. He had been working and influential for years by the time this show was done.
My first thought ... very Fosse.
Лиза Минелли! Обожаю эту актрису!
She does the singing, he does the dancing.
Liza looks EXACTLY like her pops
Very Bob Fosse! I wonder If he was the one who coreographed it.
de que año es esto?...
Year?
1963
Liza was a superb dancer. She didn't have the long musicals career she deserved
That guy is good, who is he?
the apple doesnt fall far from the tree
never better beatbik Liza👏🏾
the audience was dead tho 💀😂
No, back then people were polite. Now people interpret performances.
Liza was 17yrs old here.
I love the set. It is the inspiration for the set of " Glee Holiday Spectacular" Check it out.
Liza s got a great pair o pins
Паренек двигается , загляденье 👏👍
0:58 Lol
Who's that lucky guy dancing with Liza ?
Tracy Everitt who appears on the show quite a bit
Originally choreographed by Bob Fosse for the movie, this was not.
Yup; Liza and Tracy choreographed it for themselves.
What in the world did I just watch 🤣😂😃
HUGGS Liza.awesome
Is the male dancer Bob Fosse?
No he’s Tracy Everitt x
@T Z Did Tracy pass away?
No
🙏😁🎁
That guy is cute AF
Beyond cute! And I have to wonder, what if Liza had gone completely off-course, and married a straight guy like Tracy, had one child or more, settled down and worked less, spent less time getting drunk and high, which can cause miscarriages.
yes, what ever happened to tracy?? good number, Judy must have been so proud!
9
Wow that was technical
wow they had some strange dancin and songs back then.... but interesting and amusing to see ;-)
That was different.
The standard response of a moron.
Did Judy actually call him her "beau"? What is this, Little House on the Prairie???
No, it's 1963 😊 Beau was used often back then!
gay men party hard in the fast lane. whenever straight women become jaded with straight men and start hanging around with gay men all the time, they end up living life in the fast lane right along with them. that's probably what happened to Liza. she had a blast though, I'm sure.
RIP JUdy ! And Liza was a great dancer and singer but Judy was the best at singing Liza a great dancer though !
Boffo!
Her first gay husband?
No.
FOSSE LIGHT.
Brilliant actress. Not a dancer
The Sterile Cuckoo. First film I saw Liza in.
Silly dance. Like a bunch of trained animals.
Everytime I watch this I am deeply cringing at the overwhelming whiteness of this number, its just so...embarrassing.
So watch the Nat King Cole Christmas show. It’s fabulous
Then why are you repeatedly watching it?
