It has a deep meaning in my vision of human future, maybe even the one who did the movie don't realize it, is that we might be the one who will be behind those kind of "Thet" in the universe one day, an AI we make would be a mirror of human behavior, and what is the perfect example of human nature than this machine ;)
Well an AI don't make up itself by himself, it has to take knowledge from somewhere while aqcuiring his own, but it'll always be influenced by original biological intelligence who made it, so it'll never be perfect and could be manipulated ;)
Sally isn’t “GOD”. In that case however, she cloned Jack and had created the techs so in a manner of speaking she was Jack’s God, and saw herself as such. Not to mention, the symbolism in the fact she was destroyed by her own creation.
