PLEASE make sure you are documenting and backing up footage like this!
It’s already a mission to find such footage.
    It sucks but thank you.

Just seeing this bring all those unforgettable memories of Hurricane Maria here in Puerto Rico last September, still thousands of homes destroyed, places without power for over a year, about 50% of Street lights still not working and now you can see first hand why most of us still suffers from PTSD. I still remember or watch a video and immediately my heart aches and begin to feel that anxiety that I wish nobody else feels, ever.

I do not know why people live in hurricane prone areas. Then they lose everything and expect the taxpayer to pay for it. Level it, give it back to the sea and be done with it. MOVE! This rebuilding over and over again is not sustainable.

So the entire Caribbean, the Gulf coasts of Mexico and the US, and the entire east coast of the US should be depopulated. Sure, that's gonna happen.

It would stop blaming Trump for the hurricanes and destruction.

@@jayze10 There is the potential for natural disasters no matter where we live. I got caught up in the Mt. St. HELENS eruption. Now live in Hawaii where we had a close call with a hurricane and got hit by a tropical storm. If you have not had to deal with living through a natural count your blessings.

Not really...the sun is in a grand minimum and we can expect colder winters, more hurricanes (and stronger), more earthquakes, and more volcanic eruptions for the next 6 years.

It's so odd that in the midst of utter destruction, a few houses appear to be untouched. I'd bet these untouched homes have been completely destroyed by water damage and are also total losses.
We'll rebuild, just hope the people got out. I hope Trump throws these people more than the leftover paper towels from Puerto Rico.

Y'know, I was just in utter ponderment about the same thing, what factors 'saved' some structures that seem to architecturally be not much different. And what about those boat canopies on the canal? I used to know a paul simmons
