Wow, that is high AND robust ranking! Sounds like it resonates in Georgian!

I've been told by one person it is like Ayn Rand, which is scary, the individual opposed to the collective....

It is a bestseller in Georgia, but I don't know if it is available outside Georgia.

@jimsbooksreadingandstuff I'm pretty sure anyone can order the translation online, some of the bookshops from here can ship internationally.

@@Marie-xl7lv The problem for those outside Georgia is that Igi is not on Amazon or Abebooks, the main sources for books online. The publisher in Georgia is Karchkhadze Publishing. The ISBN is 978-9941-452-81-9

I had never heard of it when I found it in the bookshop. I am always looking for Georgian books that have been translated into English. The English version was published this year 2023. The original was published back in 1976.

@@user-8008 I find because the languages are so different a lot is lost when Georgain books are translated into English. Poetry like Tabidze's 'Kari Kris'....really doesn't translate well into English, because the sounds of the words are lost. Have you read Nato Kipiani's "The Forest of Memories"?

I don't know. There are probably pirated copies somewhere. The Georgian publisher is Karchkhadze Publishing. www.karchadze(dot)ge
