I had never heard of it when I found it in the bookshop. I am always looking for Georgian books that have been translated into English. The English version was published this year 2023. The original was published back in 1976.
@@jimsbooksreadingandstuff both languages ... georgian being the original language it was written on was better in my opinion i love this author and i have read most of his work!!!
@@user-8008 I find because the languages are so different a lot is lost when Georgain books are translated into English. Poetry like Tabidze's 'Kari Kris'....really doesn't translate well into English, because the sounds of the words are lost. Have you read Nato Kipiani's "The Forest of Memories"?
