We were so blessed to have grown up with such amazing musicians and love songs back in the day❤️
This is one of my favorite reaction videos on UA-cam. Fantastic, timeless song! You made me put that album on and drink some expensive brandy. Cheers brother 🍻
You're my favorite music reviewer on here; you seem like such a nice man, honest, sincere, and you really let the music play. Congratulations on your successful family life and longevity.
I am so so happy when you find bands and you talk about how much you love them when I’ve loved them for so long and I feel like they’ve been forgotten. because all the music today sounds the same yes I sound like a grandma even though I’m not one but it’s true. You don’t hear music like this anymore
Yes! You are so right! 👍
always liked Foreigner, ever since their first hit "Feels Like The First Time" 🙂 thanks for a great selection 👍
One of the best “Belly Rubbin’” songs ever. God the memories that song, Urgent and Jukebox Hero bring back. Nothing like graduating in 1984, I could live from 80-85 over and over again.
84 here to
I said belly rubbing above.. then scrolled down 2 messages and WHAM... you said it too.
Must be true. 👍🤟
Mike Talley We listened to everything from Alabama “Dixieland Delight,” to ZZ Top “Sharp Dressed Man.” But Hard Rock and Metal was our main listening music. Now when the ladies were there it was Lionel Richie, Gap Band.
Samuel I We remember what belly rubbin was, now 36 years later my belly is about all that touches her, 😂😂😂😂.
Chris Clark had to have a Def Leppard cassette in the car for the girls and this one was also must have for parking activities lol
I was 18 in 1981 , my girlfriend was 16. We are now 57 and 55 respectively. We have the greatest marriage of all time. She was meant for me , and I for her. It can happen. Congratulations Jamel.Btw I used to sing this song to her, among some others.
Damn dude! Your "when you love someone" was almost smoother than Foreigner's!!
I can tell by your reaction that you are a fellow "Hopeless Romantic". I love the heart and soul you put into what you do. Beautiful, brother, beautiful.
Fun fact: Thomas "She Blinded Me With Science" Dolby on the synthesizer.
Gideon Hoyle R U 4 Real???? Some 35+ years later I came to know this fun fact, thank you!! 👍👍
Yep! He’s on Def Leppard’s “Pyromania” album as well
@@hector69ize Yeah, I only found out a few years ago. He did quite a bit of studio work back in the day.
@@klonidier He also worked on Hysteria. What a world, huh?
Let's not forget that Thomas Dolby is the Dolby that created Dolby surround sound as well.
Blue morning, blue day is one of my favorite Foreigner songs. I had tickets to see them the Monday after the Friday the 13th the lockdown started. Been postponed twice now..
July next year.
Yes! LOVE Blue Monday!💜
Blue Monday good one!
Yeah before the world changed FOREVER. I had tickets to a great show as well and NOPE NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Hate it because it is rare I will spend the kind of money they want these day for a concert ticket. In the 80s 12.50 was about the going rate, and now at least 60.00, and BLUE MORNING is a great one. 🙉🙈🙊
They do not make songs like this anymore, timeless gems. Keep it coming, Jamal, keep reaching into the endless pot of songs
Freaky Deaky is part of the 70's culture! The amazing Lou Gramm and Foreigner!
"Timeless. Timeless." - He said it twice, so you know he means it!
His album "4" is a masterpiece.
Foreigner 4 was an iconic album in the 80s. Everybody knew it, everybody had it...
I saw Foreigner on the 4 tour. Still remember the blow-up jukebox that was part of the stage set. Great album.
That's for sure. Not a weak tune on it
You mean THEIR album !!!
Mutt Lange didn’t do bad albums in those years
Hey Jamal Thanks for doing this AWESOME jam, It's one of my favorite love songs from back in the day! A definite two-stepper , I'm so glad we're going down this rabbit hole! Let's keep it going, I've got my bags packed for this journey! Great job once again Jamal! 🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺Two-steppin!
i cant stop coming back to your reactions, and watching them 3 or 4 more times. your energy and positivity is refreshing, more of it is needed in this world sir.
Foreigner takes me way back. One of the best groups of days gone by
This song so takes me back to the early 80's and hanging out at the rollerskating rink.
"That was Yesterday " by Foreigner is one my favorites.
I really really hope head games it’s gonna pop up on here because you were love that song and I always push for a blue Monday blue day it’s my favorite foreigner song
All their songs are great. He could devote a week to them at least.
Love this song. I grew up in the 80s so my mom and dad played this along with lots of others.
That man's voice still melts me to this day..
Your reactions bring me such joy... even though most songs I’ve already heard a million times, somehow you make me hear them differently... it’s like seeing something through someone else’s eyes... thank you brother. Much love from Canada
😘🇨🇦❤️
"I Want to Know What Love Is". It is on this same level. You'd love it.
He’s already done it 🙂
He did that a year ago.
Foreigner - Starrider (imo their most underrated song by far)
Agree with that one. Killer tune.
Absolutely...! then "Long Long Way From Home"
Oh, absolutely without a doubt they're very seriously underrated
Good call
Boat on the River
This was magical for slow skate time at the skating rink when I was a teenager trying my best to learn about life and love! Great stuff, man.
Summer 1981 - I played this 45 for my 72 year old grandmother and she loved it. Grandmother was cool & had good taste. True story
Foreigner "4" is an album that had so much significance to me as a high school kid when it dropped in the Summer of '81..thanks for bringing back the memories..
You’ve actually got a good singing voice Jamel! 😀
Omg that look! I knew we had a “2-step” comin’! I just love when he does that!!❤️
Jamal , Loved your reaction to this song!!!! I am a 70 year old white woman who grew up with this music!!! LOVED it then LOVE it now. Keep grooving!!!! 😃
This album came out my freshmen year in high school. What an incredible time to be alive! The music at that time was phenomenal. I love your reaction to this song - so genuine.
Reads thumbnail: "Foreigner, Wai..." and immediately starts video without a second thought. And knows without a doubt that Jamel will absolutely effin' love this song. How many more of you did/felt exactly what I did? 😃
Oh I knew this would be his jam for sure. Everything in this song is on point. The keyboards/synths, even the backing vocals, but that vocal performance by Lou Gramm is one of the best ever in rock music.
Dude, you’re playing the music of my youth. I used to sing along with this song when I be driving around with my girl. Good times. Keep it up brother.
His vocal on this is BEYOND great. Such a challenging tune to sing in this intense, chesty way.
I’m 44 years old all this music is from my childhood Amazing my dad would play this song and want know what love is over and over in the 80s has the best music ever
Oh my gosh Jamel, thank you for playing this one.
My husband chose this song as our wedding dance. In Nov we will be celebrating 34 yrs. And I can still hear him singing this to me as we danced to this. He tells me I still rock his world. How cool is that!
That's cool, sooo cool! Congratulations on keeping it together this long, and keeping it golden.
@@keithbrown7685Good choice for a song! Kudos!
Coming up on our 39th anniversary. There is definitely a reason that my wife is most assuredly the better half. I am blessed that she puts up with me. I sense you have the same feeling.
Yooooooo. I’m dying at “WIFE!”
Greeks do that too. “GYNAYKA!”
😂😂
This song is wonderful, I remember when it came out and my daughter was a teen listening to it. There are very few vocalists that can match this vocalist Lou Gramm, I think is his name, and this song is so beautiful and full of emotion, it is a perfect combination. Music like this is timeless. I was typing it just as you said it but it is true.
Hands down..the best slow romantic song ever! You can feel the emotion...
