Seventies bands not only flooded the 70s with superstar music, it also produced the best music of the 80s. just about all of the big hits of the eighties was produced by 70s bands like Heart, TO TO, tHE cARS, Billy Joel, qUEEN, oLIVIA nEWTON hOHN,HALLAND OATES, ETC, along with a few sixties artists who were still hanging around like paul mccartney, pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones.

The 70's were a unique time in music. It didn't matter who you were, what you looked like, where you lived, people pretty much liked a bit of everything from almost everyone. Music brought everyone together, which we sorely needed post Viet Nam. Not saying things were perfect, but from a musical standpoint, everyone was was same. The 70's AM Classics in particular remind me of summers spent at the lake with my friends, not a care in the world! Great times!

Best line I've heard in a long time. " 70s! YOU DAMN RIGHT"! I was one of the lucky ones to grow up with this music. My generation had the BEST music of any generation up to this point! HANDS DOWN ! No auto-tune, just great voices and great music! I love how well you knew this song and would come in at some of the crescendos like you were playing one of the instruments! That's how OUR music gets you! Keep VIBING on those 70s hits! Like your reactions a lot Jamel.

It’s crazy, I was born in 72. Grew up in the 80’s and loved freestyle (Jersey girl) and club... r&b like new edition, Keith sweat etc. THEn, as I got older only did I learn to appreciate groups like Queen, Toto, Eagles etc. Now in my forties, I listen to it all!!! And share it with my college aged son who seems to have good taste in music. Music heals... Thank you for these vids!!
