    Probably the best bike in history.

    I bought one of these 2 months ago. I have done over 1100kms on it. It has been used off road, gravel and made roads. Very happy with the overall performance and range.
    I don’t use the auto power setting as I prefer to shift the power up and down as I ride depending on the terrain. Basically I use the gears for my desired speed / peddling cadence and shift the power to keep consistent load on my ageing legs😄.
    I use mine for daily commute to work. 21 kms each way. Also for fun rides on the weekends. Longest ride, just over 80kms with 25 % battery remaining.
    My bike isn’t very clean compared to the one in this video! I guess I need to give it some love!

      Glad you are enjoying this bike and using for commuting, it is indeed a great E-bike. I ride it to explore new destinations, previously not possible. I agree on shifting power up and down depending on the terrain and this bike does so smooth that it feels like a regular bike.

    I bought this bike a little over a year ago…put on just over 500 miles on it, it’s by far one the smoothest ebikes I have ever ridden. I ordered the fender kit from Giant and installed a rear rack. My bike is mainly used for riding trails especially when am out camping , hunting or fishing best value for money imo…I also have the Giant La-free ebike from Giant for cruising around town these Yamaha motors that come on these Giant bike are so underrated but they work absolutely great!!

    Thanks for the information and review! I am looking at adding an E-bike to the stable.....the going up hill and getting sweaty part is ok, it is the barely able to walk the next day that gets to me. 😁😁

    Thanks for making this very informative video. I am planning on buying a giant e-bike and I'm curious about be able to connect my phone to the bike. Have you tried the giant app and do you use your phone as a speedometer and to control the different settings on the bike?

    • @Velorize

    Hello and thank you! So for 35-40k daily commuting to work in a hilly city and perhaps some excursions to dirt/mountain would you choose this? I am thinking of explore+4 gts which is the same, but with commuting accessories, right?

    • @Velorize
      @Velorize  21 день тому

      Hi Dtasoudis, for 35 to 40k commute I would go with Explore +4, as that offers 80NM of torque, where mine is only 55NM of torque. Both are about the same price range, and both can go a bit off road. I do use mine for a bit commuting too and love it. Just a tip for best battery range use Auto mode and you should be fine. Oh also bring charger with bike to work, to recharge the battery cause it will not be enough for commuting back. Thanks for watching, cheers 😊

      Hi Jim, It currently is around 2700, prices might vary depending where you live. I paid couple of hundred less ( as the prices have gone up this year)
      Range of the bike was covered in detail in the video. I did a 50 mile gravel ride with only one charge here is the link ua-cam.com/video/qbt6GEn2do4/v-deo.html

    Is it good for 5".2 in height?

    • @Velorize
      @Velorize  2 роки тому

      Bike store will certainly help you in getting the right size, or if you buy on line they have a size chart as well. For 5.2 " you might wanna check small frame.
      Thanks for watching.
