I had the exact same problem. My daughter went to Amazon, found the part and I ordered it. When it came in two days I couldn’t remember how she took it out. I went to UA-cam and found your video and was able to install it. Thank you so much!
I had the same problem on my Keurig 2.0! I ordered the new part and it was very easy to install. My Keurig coffee pot worked perfectly afterwards for maybe two months and then the plastic holding the needle in place broke again! :/ I investigated further and found that an off brand k-cup that I purchased was causing the so much strain on the mechanism it eventually broke the plastic that holds the needle! The plastic on the bottom of those K cups was so hard that the needle could barely puncture it! I even got out a ice pick to try and help it pierce a hole. It was difficult to even manually poke a hole so I imagine that this pressure is what caused my first needle and now my replacement needle to break off! I’m going to buy one more replacement part and stop buying cheap K cups!!
