We see him in our acts of love for one another. In our blessings, in our triumphs, in our darkest moments... if you take a careful look, He is everywhere
I think of that old adage, be careful what you ask for,you just might get it.the people of Israel ,when they were in the wilderness were complaining against Moses,as usual.they said does God speak to you alone? So God answered their ramblings and spoke out to them, they freaked out in horror, and said we can not withstand the words of God,speak to Mises..Now I love God the Father more then anything, but I know He is so powerful that I cannot be in His direct presence.thats one of the reasons why He has made His Son the mediator or buffer between God Almighty and us.Just to know that He takes thought of me is enough, though I long to be in His presence,to know He oversees all things,I will be content to dwell in the presence of His Son Jesus.
Problem is with near death experiencer's some of us have seen the God aspect of being light, again not in the flesh but in our spirits, the problem is being people are a perpetual race of children species.
From Messengers of God in every religion... "The door of the knowledge of the Ancient Being hath ever been, and will continue for ever to be, closed in the face of men. No man's understanding shall ever gain access unto His holy court. As a token of His mercy, however, and as a proof of His loving-kindness, He hath manifested unto men the Day Stars of His divine guidance, the Symbols of His divine unity, and hath ordained the knowledge of these sanctified Beings to be identical with the knowledge of His own Self." -Writings of Baha'u'llah
This is preaching without understanding context. The passages that say that no one has ever seen, or can see God, are written by primitive humans ABOUT primitive humans. A human cannot see God. The pure in heart shall ascend in spirit form and if they ascend all the way to heaven they can then see God. He looks like a star. Purity cannot be achieved by primitive human means. You can't do it. If you ascend the angels and ascended beings will change your primitive genes many times until you become an advanced universal being. Only then can you enter heaven.

Faith is believing without seeing
John Nayik will we see God in heaven?
So, the short answer is: we can’t see him in our physical bodies, but we will when we’re dead/in our perfect bodies.
