If you put a vinegar wash on top of wood stain, it makes it a little lighter (and let’s be real, cooler). Mixing the yellow and black didn’t turn out bad at all!

Elsa, you're so lovable! I love that suit! And when you busted out the "This is Audible" is the deep man voice. That was SO good! Really amazing project with the mountain backdrop too. Wish I knew someone with a setup like that I could play with boards, cutting and shaping all day. Love the burnt wood! OK I have to stop saying how much I enjoyed the video I just can't help myself!

We use diluted simple green to clean our airstream walls & ceiling inside. Wipe it down with clean water after good to go.

Hey guys, love the visors. we had a casita and I totally identify with Barron, moving that thing by hand to get in tight spots..takes me back!
here's a mod I did that changed my life:
I put a folding "boat hitch" on the tounge and attached an all terrain wheel ( from harbor freight, etc..) and then I could roll it around as needed. may help someone out there:) happy travels!

Hey, Elsa:Wow, two Missourian's, I have family in Missouri and a cousin who is from Missouri. He has mentioned Ray town to me several times, so did his mother; who also lived in Missouri. I visited my family in Missouri, who live in Independence about two years, ago. I loved seeing the Bingham/Wagner estate; The Governor's mansion and the Truman Library. I plan on making a trip back to Missouri, in the near future; can't wait to see my family in MO again, soon. Safe travels, always.

I don't know if you know about DAMPRID. but its the best. its a little bag or small bucket and it absorbs moisture out o the air especially if you have the heater on. its pretty cheap and doesn't need to be plugged in.

I moved to NC for a couple years and KC (Kansas side) is a breeze in comparison. I waited in line for 3 hours and paid almost $600 just to register my Hyundai. Back in KC it was only $250 and I didn't wait in line. I got in line digitally from my computer and even though I'm only 5 minutes away I had to keep putting myself in the back of the line because there was very little wait. I still need to update my driver's license - cheaper, but a longer wait.

I went to the Tarrant County Courthouse in Arlington TX., to renew my registration and get new plates. It cost me $60. Yes $60. I love TX.
There are a few good places to declare residency but I chose FL. Great in the winter, no yearly inspections on the truck, many places to stay for free but they are the best kept secret. Also if you stay at the state parks which are GREAT!, and you are a senior, 65 I think or over, I’m 75, then there is a 50%, yes 50%!, discount so your daily cost could be $13-$16 a day. Plus if you want to work 20 hours a week at the park, you stay for free! If you can get into the Keys it will be more expensive though.

If you two have never been to the Laura Wilder Museum several hours South of Kansas City, in Mansfield, it would be worth your while. Laura and Almonzo were organic/natural farmers. You and they share a love of nature, travel and working together!

Coolest part us that your parents/family accepts your way of living and doesn't judge you or criticize. I traveled for work and lived in my 33ft travel trailer with kitchen and shower and my family talked about me bad. I didn't care much about their opinions but You're fortunate in that aspect.
Ha Ha I just did the same here in Wichita last year with my Rav! Iowa get darned cold!
When I registered my 25 year old car in a new state 6 years ago it was $200 more than I expected, had to pay a tax of some sort. I was privately FUMING!!! But I did realize that those road maintenance crews & equipment have to paid for somehow as the state does not have income tax. Still I was mad!!! Tis Life.
