    ☕️Lighter dose: best for a daily ritual if you want to prolong your cacao experience and not have too much cacao: 8 discs + 8oz of water. This is the most liquid-y.
    ☕️Daily dose: our daily preference of 8 discs + 4oz water to get the perfect creaminess level.
    ☕️Ceremonial dose: 16 discs with 4oz water gives you a potent, thick cup of cacao. This strong dose is ideal for a deeper personal or group ceremony.
    Once you get the hang of these three recipes you can use your intuition to tweak the number of discs and amount of liquid to make the perfect cup for you!

    **Note, using boiling water in a Nutribullet for longer than 30s can result in injury. We prefer handheld frothers or Vitamixes for our cacao. If you are using a Nutribullet we recommend 170F water with 15s of blending.

    Is it safe to blend hot water in a blender? I'm new to the cacao life and nervous to pour hot water into my nutribullet 😂 is your blender just a regular nutribullet or do u have a special blender for hot water? Thanks a mil x

      Using boiling water in a Nutribullet for longer than 30s can result in injury. We prefer handheld frothers or Vitamixes for our cacao. If you are using a Nutribullet we recommend cooler 170F water (not boiling) and blending only for a short time. However we've frequently made messes with Nutribullet's and cacao so it's not the best tool overall.

      @@cacaoceremony ah amazing thank you! i sat with twenty grams this morning and felt so relaxed i actually ended up napping afterwards haha, does it matter if it’s ceremonial cacao or just aslong as it’s raw organic cacao, i was thinking of doing the non ceremonial one four days a week and then the ceremonial one (still 20grams) three days a week just to keep it more cost sustainable

    • @cacaoceremony
      @cacaoceremony  Рік тому +1

      @@jamiecasey4663 That sounds delightful! You are welcome to try using raw organic cacao but in my experience it's nowhere near the same as ceremonial grade cacao --> and the cost difference with ceremonial grade cacao also has a huge impact on the quality of life on the small farms and communities that it is sourced from.

    Does it necessarily need a blender? Can't the chocolate discs be melt in a pot of hot water?

    • @jonasketterle
      @jonasketterle 4 роки тому +7

      Hi there! Without vigorous agitation by a blender or electric whisk, the chocolate drink is not as frothy and the chocolate can settle towards the bottom. The goal of blending is to fully emulsify the water + chocolate so it creates a frothy drink with magical rainbow bubbles!

    But how many ounces do you drink 🍵at one time for the ceremonial

    • @cacaoceremony
      @cacaoceremony  2 роки тому +1

      I typically use 1 oz of cacao for a ceremonial dose. You can consume 1.5oz - 2.0oz safely for a larger dose as well. Dosage is variable by person and by circumstance so I highly recommend listening to your body as you are drinking it!

    Everywhere I read it suggest 35 to 45 grams of cacao per peraon for the ceremony so I have been confused because I see people using coffee size mugs to do it.

    • @airelaayala71

    • @jonasketterle
      @jonasketterle 2 роки тому +2

      In my opinion, 35 - 45 grams of cacao is excessive for a daily dose. For occasional ceremony it's fine to use up to that amount. I do prefer my cacao on the thicker and frothier side so I err on the side of smaller mugs, but if you want the cacao more liquid you can definitely use a coffee size mug.
