I’ve been obsessed with minimal teardrops for years, but I could really see myself getting a tiny camper like this with a bathroom. I would love the flexibility to even boondock, which I would’ve never seen myself doing
Nope . . . The boler was the first . . . and Scamp form were made from a boler deconstructed and copied . . . as were Burros In fact after so many American copies were made, boler Campers went out of business. The cost of suing over the international trademark infringement was prohibitive
Been looking at small units for a while. Folks could save a lot of time if you just say from the top if there is a toilet or not…then everyone could be on their way.
If I could somehow replace the seating with a gaming chair but somehow still be able to convert that into a bed. I'd live in one of these for sure. lol.
Love it and wondering if I could tow it with my 2018 nissan rogue that has 1100 lb capability....a least until I get the chance to get myself a bigger car or truck to tow it...I need to live full-time.
are there additional support rods when the table is lowered for the bed layout? seems like only 1 support rod in the middle wouldn't be enough and it would wobble around.
New? bought a used 2023 13ft and just undercoated the entire underside...................seems the factory could have done this......wonder if the quality is there
If I need to wait 2 years here is some questions. What is the weight? I drive à 22 Bronco 2 door. 2nd. Again if I have to wait this long can I get a lift kit and tires like airstream will do? I’d do like the small size and want this trailer but I have things the sight won’t tell me

Fridge and kitchen inside the cabin is bad for bear country. Cooking inside a very small camper means grease everywhere, quickly. Bathroom inside a small camper means you will smell shit and extra maintenance. And all of this takes valuable space for the most valuable item in the camper. The sleeping cabin. Luckily the bathroom is optional. People see this and they're like oh wow looks amazing!. But MOST people who have been camping for years prefer to cook outside. Indoor bathroom is a 50/50 thing. 100% of people want to sleep warm and cozy though.
@@retrorenos Gotta love the way the reply immediately demurs on the new one and suggests maybe one can afford a used one at best!! Mercy what a financial sinkhole!!

The price kills it for most
A small and cute trailer.
But the inside is luxurious and functional. wonderful.😃
Thanks for sharing. Maybe for next time, open up the storage areas 😉. Molded fiberglass campers are 👍🏼
We will for sure!
love the New Design. Classy
Then you'll love the 2025 prototype
it is a rumour in Denmark..that the Scamp is a copy of the Danish built MKP the architect saw it in the 60s during a visit

Shower too!
Yes a shower too!
Cute for one person who’s under 5’9.
I would say perfect for two people under 6ft
I'm 6'3" and I'm fine with Scamps head room
Headroom? What about sleepinng. Im 6’2”… seems like a deal breaker if i cant actually use the sleep mode
Cool trailer
That's adorable!!
Looks like a big ole giant A/C up top.
13,000 btu so not so big
Great little weekender

Sorry we just wanted to talk about the whole thing some models that’s a toilet like this one and some don’t.
nice video!
Thanks
I want one of these. this would be perfect for me. I'm tired of living in my car
What was the total cost for this one with the bathroom shower setup? Also the weight ?
1,500 lbs. $17,000

You would be right on the edges you would need to get one with out the bathroom
I towed mine 13 w/bath over 2,000 miles with a Mazda 2. Only one problem 100 HP is just no enough.
Is the 13 ft the actual floor size in the camper or from front to back including trail hitch?
Full thing, interior is about 10 feet long
are there additional support rods when the table is lowered for the bed layout? seems like only 1 support rod in the middle wouldn't be enough and it would wobble around.
There are groves on each side bench for it to rest on when it is down. When it is up it is the one support leg and two brackets on the back wall
Sorry table dancing is not an option
Change the music, overpowering and ineffectual
Noted.
I like the music. It is effective.
Also loud…
New? bought a used 2023 13ft and just undercoated the entire underside...................seems the factory could have done this......wonder if the quality is there
What would a ballpark weight be for that thing?
(I understand its subject to change depending on options, and what's in the tanks...)
Right around 1,750- 2,000 lbs. Maybe a hair under. The standard 13ft weighs 1,500 but the wood interior adds weight
If I need to wait 2 years here is some questions. What is the weight? I drive à 22 Bronco 2 door. 2nd. Again if I have to wait this long can I get a lift kit and tires like airstream will do? I’d do like the small size and want this trailer but I have things the sight won’t tell me
This model is right around 1300lbs
We do lifts on these
can i tow it with a 2023 buick encore? also, any way to add a microwave?
Hello I believe the Buick Encore tows 1000lbs so this camper is a bit too heavy for that vehicle.
I put a board on legs over the stove and use only the M/W.
Yah I’ve never viewed a scamp before 🤪
Slow down kids lol 😮 i missed alot
How tall from ground to the roof ac?
The sound track was annoying.
Notes for next time
@@retrorenos TY for noting.
Who pissed in your Cheerios?
Seems like everyone making vids wants to include an annoying music loop. And long say nothing do nothing useful lead ins.

1500 lbs? Is work for Ford Maverick?
We have seen it with a maverick
Way to BLAST MY EARS...you might want to take it easy on the HARSH intro
Your camera lens makes it look even smaller.
Sorry about that it’s an iPhone
Doesn't look like the bed can accommodate a taller person, I'm 6'1", looks like I might not fit.
6’1’m is close. But I believe you would be able to lay flat
I'd love to have one, but I have a 1500 lb limit
What size tires are those?
I want one 😭
What's the story on the rims?
They are an upgrade you can get.
Would it work in cold climate?
Yes many people use them in very cold climates of Coloradoz
@@retrorenos hahaha “cold climate of Colorado” 🤣. Sorry I live close to Montreal. In Colorado -10 c is cold as f*ck, here we have -20 to -30 sometimes
@@retrorenos but I get the point, -10c is kind of good
Yeah then you probably want to look at a 4 season camper. A good fiberglass camper to look for that is 4 season and made in Canada is Big Foot
@@retrorenos never heard of them. Thanks I’ll look into it!
Nice toy! How much?
If you go to Scamptrailers.com they would be able to help you with price but I think new off the lot this one is around 25,000
Used ones can very
They still haven't gotten rid of the rat fur on the walls, I see. Sigh... Why can't they just put that stuff INSIDE the walls???
it is inside; Fiberglas shell only. No hollow walls.
How much are one of these ballpark?
30k
In the 20s for a new one you can get a used one for less
Liked the music!
Tank sizes?
I will need to check the website
So the door…..works?
The door works great
When did they change the door to flat?

They can very 21,000 and up reach out to us if you are ready to buy.
Nice but expensive for it's size...
Too bad the frige door is hinged on the left😮
Try $ 7,457 😊 just saying
Thx brandon
How much is one of those
This deluxe is 25,000+ brand new off the lot.
Used one can be closer to 15,000 range.

Talk about aircon?
Efficient but noisy.
A bigger guy at 5’9”..😅😂😅😅😅😂😅😅😂
I am 6-1 and it is tall enough
5’9” and barely fits in the bed 😢
At 5'16 " I will have to pass
What's ceiling height
6'4'' w/o air . A/C brings it down to 5'11''uder the a/c only , on mine.
How much for one of these??
This off the lot is about 23,000 but if was you check with Scamp directly
There's nothing Deluxe about 13 feet we tow a 32 footer
Gas mileage, and being able to tow it with a car or small suv seems pretty deluxe to me. Don’t have to go buy a truck.
If you were to let a fart, the windows would be blown out 💩
It would be an instant fart attack on your bunk mate
You used the wrong illustration. Here's the correct one: 🤾♂️💨
For little people
And big people too. I am 6-1 and my wife is pretty tall we fit good in it
The music made me x it out. Way too loud
All good sorry to hear that
Man it ain’t that loud.
Flat door sucks
That is a closet on wheels
It’s small but awesome
