Error on my part at 3:59 I claimed toy defense was a copy of Toy Soldierz when that isn't true. Toy Defense released 3 years earlier than TSZ sorry for the mix up! Secondly, I'm not sure why I called BSS uninspired when it was one of the first well established simulators on the platform, I meant to put a different sim but mixed even more stuff up lol. For those wondering what the main underrated games I played were, here they are for yall in a list: 0:48 is 'Battle Buddies 2' 0:55 is 'Abyss World' 1:45 is 'Rostal' 3:05 is 'Robot 32 Demo' 4:22 is 'Ready 2 Die' 5:15 is 'I wanna test the game' Don't forget to subscribe, more content like this will drop.
To be fair, bee swarm simulator was one of the first huge simulator games and was original at the time Edit: I didn't mean it's still not original, I just meant it has a lot more copies now
Yeah I'd say it was original because you needed to do a lot more than just clicking everytime in one spot, you had a hive to store bees that have unique traits, enemies and bosses that can change the relaxing simulator to an rts out of nowhere Gas Station Simulator is one of those games that I would definitely call a simulator because it simulates the hard life of a gas station in the middle of nowhere Poor power, lack of supplies, teamwork, fees etc. and you lose the game if you go bankrupt
What he said at the near end makes a LOT of sense, it really paints the picture and gives an idea of the current state of roblox. The platform is now like an underground mine, you dig and search through dirt and rocks, the dirt and rocks being the mid to trash games, u dig to find gems which are the actual decent games that are often passion projects, rare and hard to find but worth it.
Great video! Definitely deserves more attention, and hopefully it gets it. I think a lot of people are simply stuck in their ways, and resistant to change or trying anything new. I also wanted to chime in that it's not just terrible copy paste games that work well on the Roblox Algorithms, but it's the YT Algorithms too. I can upload a video about an unknown game in a genre and get SMASHED by YT, meanwhile uploading cookie cutter garbage on whatever is popular is free views. It's really sad, and surely dissuades creators from giving attention to games that deserve it.
Thank you for the feedback Eclispe. I've actually known and been a fan of you for a long while so this means a lot coming from you! I appreciate this ❤️❤️
damn eclipse, this video is perfect for the position you're in. I really love your videos and ill honestly watch anything you post, especially when its with your friends. I wish everyone else felt the same way though. The game that built your community wants to continue seeing that kind of content but, it just doesn't appeal to you anymore. You deserve better man, wishing you the best.
I remember when Roblox actually tried to push unique games as well. Remember Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Rewards, and other Events that rewarded you with cosmetics you had to obtain by playing a unique game? I was so happy that one of my main games managed to be apart of one of those events and really grew the player count.
Oh yeah I remember how there was an event for “ultimate boxing” a very unique game that has nothing to do with boxing, and it was very fun. But now the game is dead and only fun with more people.
what roblox needs is a game review system. people should be able to write reviews for games and we could even have official roblox game critiques who write essays about games and then give a final rating out of 10. u could then "search by rating" and be able to see what people have given 10/10 (if anything that good even exists on roblox currently). this would only work if the people reviewing the games are 17+ though. i believe this would encourage more devs to make a game worthy of being 10/10 edit: bots wouldnt be a problem because of age validation (u need to show ur ID/passport) and neither would lying about ur age. i agree with some of the other replies tho. within the game reviewing community, there would probably be trustworthy reviewers that rise BUT there is the problem of bribing people to make good reviews. either way, i think a review system is a step in the right direction
@@hiddenguy67 i remember them. it can easily come back if its 17+ only, since they were only removed because of scams i think? doesnt make sense anyway because other things have comments rn. either way it was in order of most recent which wouldnt be good
Chances are official roblox game critics wouldn't really give a game a proper shot and would not account for all types of genres other people enjoy. It wouldn't work.
As a small developer on Roblox I 100% agree with what you say. They make it nearly impossible for your game to grow even if it were to be better than 90% of top page games. Also games with the lowest effort put in to them get the most attention.
It would be great if someone made an extension or something that allows you to highlight unique games and send it to a site which lists the actually good games and their communities
I can play flood escape 2 all day. Unbelievable how “games” like Sols Rng have hundreds times of players (afk robots) while having the lowest effort put in possible while quality games fail.
Yeah fr, I've been playing it since 2020 and yeah it's an amazing game if you haven't played it already, the game is entirely original and has its own original music that are made by undeniably talented creators, the community is great to hang out with, while some are just lowlife toxic hobos, but meh just ignore them.
It's a rather unfortunate situation, but it is something we can almost do nothing about. The best we can do right now is recommend actually good and original games to others, to help these games grow further and to support their development. Maybe one day, we will be able to see a rise of better games in the platform, but only time will tell
@@jialekoi6939 Truth be told, maybe. But mainly young kids play and they dont want to invest in a complex story or game because... well they're kids. No, they want a cheap knockoff game with microtransactions for an easy win or an advantage.
There’s so many games I loved and would like to revisit but cannot find them again… it’s so bizarre. It feels like they just disappeared from the face of the earth and all those positive memories are gone.
2/3 of the games I use to like (2014 player) are either deleted, copyrighted, or discontinued. That probably happened to at least some of them. It’s a shame, but I have found a game to stick to.
@@viewer1288 all three of those games have a pretty active fanbase though, despite bee swarm nearing discontinuity it manages over 20k players regularly. jailbreaks still going strong but im not that sure with flee the facility. also games like ooga booga that was once extremely popular is now pretty much dead besides from copies
It's true that for small developers like me it's not easy to work on a game for months or even a few years only to see no one playing it. I hope that will change one day
As a fellow developer I find it infuriating that a game that I’ve spent a while developing on get less players than SURVIVE THE SKIBIDI TOILET RAINBOW FRIENDS THE KILLER OBBY. That was made in 2 seconds.
So many original and incredible games get swept under the rug because children (the target demographic) don't play them at all, and that's really sad because so many talented people create awesome and original games but barely can gain double digits of players. EDIT: beans EDIT 2: MY FUCKING NOTIFICATIONS
They also lack replayability, games like Bloxfruits are actual horseshit with the constant grind to be permitted to do more grind, it is basically the Adopt Me for non-infants However, it is the same grind chore that also keeps games like that alive, if the grind never ends you never stop playing, their games are set up in a way to make sure the player NEVER leaves. Compare that to a good game which while satisfying, once you're satisfied you are on to the next thing
Usually the good games involve commitment and complex thinking, which is, to be completely honest, not something that the main demographics have. But if you think about the future, some(or perhaps most if we get lucky) kids will grow up and start to enjoy such games. Just my thought though. There’s an easy chance this may not come true though, sadly.
God, I love seeing these videos. It reminds me that the fanbase still wants something creative and new, not just other games with a fresh coat of paint and vibrant colors dotted everywhere. On that note, I'd like to mention Paradigm-Shift Tower Defense, it's a game I developed alongside some friends, we're doing a lot and hopefully we can somehow break this attention-grabbing mold and become something better. If you are looking for quality in your tower defense games, you can either pay 4 dollars for BTD6, or play PSTD for absolutely free. Loved the video, these informative ones really do help us devs in achieving what the player ACTUALLY wants; a good experience made with love and the player in mind.
It's really hard to find quality original games and one of them being space tycoon yes the p;layer count is low but its u#such a good game you will definitely enjoy it
I liked how you mentioned the end of replayability of games and brought up Doors. Ive made videos on it and enjoyed it for quite some time, but it quickly lost its joy after the inital exposure. While its well designed, it can struggle to keep people entertained if not given more meaningful replay value (modifiers are nice challenges, but i dont feel it changes the core mechanics well enough, that and id prefer they work on the second floor instead of trying to constantly update the hotel)
6:08 I always thought that leaving a favorite and thumbs up, then leaving the devs alone to give them time to develop their game was the best way to support them freely. This was very insightful, thank you for the suggestion!
I deeply understand this. I mainly play a game called Juke’s Towers of Hell, and even though the earlier areas look really bad, the more you progress, the more fun and better looking it gets. Unfortunately, due to it being a skill game, and gets often trampled on for being a Tower of Hell rip-off EVEN THOUGH it came before ToH, it gets around 400 players at it’s peak and 180 at it’s lowest.
a lot of toh players transitioned into the game. I remember being an obbyist (still can't wallhop consistently if my life was threatened) and playing jtoh. very fun and challenging. i don't get how it's a toh rip off, because it has a VERY large margin of skill and competitiveness compared to toh in their avg playerbases, and their obby designers are people who are famous for playing obbies.
@@DelatroxxKnow whats funny? Obren the creator of ToH is actually the og creator of JToH but he gived up with the game and gived it to jukes, and then made other game based on it aka ToH, so tecnically ToH is the real ripoff one

You should 100% make a video on in my opinion one of the most well made games on Roblox, Microwave Dinner. The game falls into the category of underrated and unable to have replayability. The game is basically Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Odyssey smashed together but with robots and microwaves. The game has an amazing art style, gameplay, mechanics, and overall a great game to just have fun. A thing most games on the top of the platform lack, fun. Anyways if you could make a video about a tier list of some sort of all your picks for top underrated games, I would appreciate it. Also feel like it should be noted that with the growth of Anime, it has no doubt ruined the front page. Same with any trend really. Games like Bloxfruits, Brookhaven, Toilet Tower Defense, Blade Ball, and simulators all are mediocre games at there "peak". Bloxfruits is popular... well because One Piece. Brookhaven is popular because.. toddlers. Toilet Tower Defense is popular because SKIBIDI DOP D-. Blade Ball is popular just because of the gameplay idea being good but executed horribly. Simulators are popular nowadays due to FREE UGC!!! All the games that are good all have under 20k players. Games like Jailbreak and old classics all died due to a couple things. 1: Over updating, 2: Not listening to the community fully, and 3: The idea gets old. Games like Jailbreak just get over updated with garbage updates and get over the top grindy. Yeah honestly I don't know why I wrote all this I just hope that Roblox can go back to what it used to be. Creative.
Mediocrity is just the key in this platform as of today, not a lot of people are willing to sacrifice their time and money for a passion project that'll only appear for a brief time and will disappear to obscurity because of how keeping up the player count means you're not just doing this as a passion project anymore, you're forced to keep up with the player's or the community's patience. There are still developers who do not care about these things and will continue to support their projects without anything in return or popularity because they just want to see their game finished as they've envisioned it. First impressions are also a huge factor in releasing a game, without hype or anything that will make your game pop in the beginning, you are going to have a hard time having a decent and steady player count. There's also a really sad dilemma that these quality games tend to be focused around single-player which doesn't bode well with how "replayable" it can be. Multiplayer comes a long way in how a game's lifespan can exceed expectations because of how player-to-player interactions can make the game fresh and at least fun for a lot of people. Old-ish Era of Roblox kinda didn't have this problem honestly, a lot of indie and experimental games were made (which also popped off) which got promotional blogs and even videos by ROBLOX themselves discussing these games, but kinda died down because of the massive changes that were made the following years. Nonetheless, I do hope some of the programs that ROBLOX has put out to fund some of these obscure and promising games can help more and more people have the motivation to make something that's fresh and unique around this platform.
This is an extremely good video, and perfectly encapsulates my reasoning for quitting development. I realized that I could make an incredible game, for it the just end up unrecognized while skibidi toilet simulator or whatever dogshit gets 100000 players and millions of players. I love roblox, I love its culture, its community (for the most part) but it just feels like in the past few years, a lot of what made roblox special has been going away.
With a lot of people bringing up Arcane Odyssey and how its gameplay loop and minimal MTX (almost entirely for cosmetic enhancements or for people who want to be annoying with global announcements) is a well appreciated change of pace as far as popular Roblox games go, it actually makes me wonder if replayability is arguably the most significant factor in a Roblox game's relevance.
I’ve been into game development for a long time and did nothing but study how these types of games prosper. Quality games can be successful, but there is one mistake that every developer will make that can throw off other people: *Lack of replays ability* When the game is too complex or too difficult, that can eventually make the players find the game doesn’t work for them. Another major factor is that there are mostly one way to play instead of many other ways. For example: Blade Ball is simple where they either hit it ball or they lose, have loads of cosmetics to increase taste into the game, and other maps play a part of this as well. While most quality games focus on quality so much that they fail to get a grip of what can actually increase the chance of replay ability. New quality games such as Oaklands has smashed popularity because the fact that there are almost over one hundred ways to prosper in the game. Same thing for Blade Ball, many ways to play.
* Has to be simple and easy to understand * Has to be made for all audiences/ages in mind * Has to have an infinite loop of replayability (as you said) *Cosmetics and micro transactions to provide a better advantage to those that oay These are what i think is most important. You’re very right on the replayability part.
that’s why games like anime adventures or astd are so popular. It’s easy to understand and you can play it infinitely due to there being no set goal in the game. And don’t think these game devs don’t know what they’re doing… they know exactly from every minute detail what they’re doing.
A game I find enjoyable is Arcane Odyssey, it has a good story, good combat, and a large amount of content, despite it still only being in early access.
AND, it's not a bandit beater. It relies on better replayability tactics, like for example, instead of beating bandits for 12 hours, you can just do whatever you want to get XP, do some stuff of your own, it's an open world story!
The majority of players on Roblox are under 13. I think arcane odyssey isn't appealing when you're not that smart or like don't like to think that much on the game
Bee Swarm Simulator is the one simulator I can respect because its not just mindless clicking You have to actually think stuff through such as the best items and multipliers for your bees, the best field for your bee colour ratio, other things like that
as someone who used to play bee swarm simulator, I disagree with that, I used to think like that before, but in my opinion, a fun game where you have to put a bot to play for you if you want to progress in the game after some time is not a good game, not only that, but its just a better simulator, still a bad one, just not horrible.
Honestly Im just glad that there are still people who know look out for/talk for these sort of games - hidden amongst the detrius of cash grabs and clones, there's plenty of actually good games that are fun to play. Reminds me of this one I picked up called Project Stardust - it has all the qualities of fun to play, fun to replay, and a nice community, its just relatively underground. I think Roblox will truely day the day these sort of hidden gems run dry
I completely agree. I can't name how many times I've scrolled the roblox page and seen the same simulator, obby and horror games over and over. It's kind of sad how most quality games aren't getting the recognition they deserve.
My favourite game recently would have to be “An Okay Car” a basic yet fun game that I had a blast playing with friends, a rare feeling nowadays. Games promoted to the front page today are over saturated with micro transactions and all of that sort. I really love those well crafted games, adventure, horror, etc. Hope to see smaller more dedicated developers be promoted to the front page!
my personal favorite game is era warfare, because of the funny community and i get some really fun gameplay out of it. never heard of an okay car, but ill try it!
I know a pretty good one too: Find The Bricks. Now, it’s not completely original, the genre has been a thing in Roblox for a long time. Although, it’s puzzles, designs and features are unique in comparison to most other games in this genre. For example, you can draw in the notepad, and the notepad doesn’t cover your entire screen (+ you can move it anywhere on the screen).
I have a few recommendations. Allusions - randomizer combat game based on refferences to games and anime. A little difficult but fun combat mechanics Decaying winter - wave defense survival teamplay game, the goal is to survive as long as possible, but it's very hard and has interesting gameplay mechanics. Zombie Stories - story game about zombies, also has 4 classes, each has its own unlockable weapons, quality game that's worth to try. Isle - adventure exploring game with horror elements. I wish i could forget it and play it again, it's a masterpiece of a game. Creeper chaos - "build a base" survival game in which you try to survive as a human or blow up people as a creeper. The Apocalypse - round based zombie survival game. Your goal is to survive until morning, hide and defend yourself from hordes of zombies while looking for food while trying to save ammo as much as possible.
After watching this video, I instantly checked playercounts of mentioned games, and seeing Rostal with (currently) over 100 people active is heartwarming. Your video is already making a dent in this problem, and I hope with enough effort we can change the site to actually be decent ❤
Haven’t watched the video yet, but I was shocked when I found Abyss World. Despite the low player count, I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, and its quality is amazing. It’s disappointing how hard it is to find games like it. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even use the games tab anymore, I stick to the same few games and find new ones through social media. I hope Roblox creates a feature that exposes these high quality games to a larger audience. The closest thing we’ve had was the genres tab, which for whatever reason was removed.
defo checking that out later, but i agree with what you said. scrolling the front page for quality games can feel endless, so it’s really revitalizing to fall back on games you already know are good, and finding new ones on social media is also very refreshing
Yo, this video does bring up some good points. As a developer for Toy Defense, some people in my community did not waste time bringing this video to attention after they noticed you said Toy Defense was a copy of Toy Soldierz (which I'm assuming was just a mistake). There was quite some controversy when that game came out. I made the game knowing it wouldn't get players; it was just a fun way to pass time. But I was blessed by the algorithm and the game blew up quite a bit, motivating me to come back and revamp the game after abandoning it for 3 years. Some more fun games I wish had more players include Project:Gaming, Super Duper Cube Cavern (Now released as Stasis!!), and Countless Worlds. Microwave Dinner is also really fun, but it's player count has been rising so I'm glad that it's getting the attention it deserves.
@@LocalLawnChairsad how sb was one of the games that started out as an original game with effort and passion put into it then arcwise came along and turned it into yet another copy and paste cash grab
I hate the fact that most of the games on Roblox nowadays, are pay to win or have “premium only” areas. Also I don’t want to keep seeing “Skibbidy toilet cocomellon smurf cat grimace alphabet lore RP” on the main page. WHAT HAS ROBLOX BECOME?
This man's voice is so soothing, and the video is done is so professionally, it's honestly amazing. This king is criminally underrated. You're a legend man. Keep grinding.
@@frankierodriguez866who said he hasn’t played for years? What if he has more years than you? You’re ignorant af and I don’t see how having more years is a flex? Explain
If anyone is bored and is looking for games to play, you can play: Contact A-888, Decaying Winter, Dummies Vs Noobs, the final stand 2 and Guts and Blackpowder. All of these games are very skill based (some requires grinding) and you will die ALOT but once you learn the mechanics of these games, it becomes incredibly fun (ofc thats just my opinion).
UA-camrs are very important in helping those big project games. Games such as the backrooms and doors have gotten huge success and part of that is because of youtubers playing it and spreading awareness.
I really like this video, as someone who has been on UA-cam for a really long time, I don’t know how to describe this. This felt mandatory to watch and even knowing nothing about this channel. I knew I would watch this channel for sure again. Definitely recommending to all my friends.
So happy to see Battle Buddies 2. In this video, I've been following the development of the game for a while. If you are interested in it I'd reccomend playing the prequel as it has more content than battle buddies 2 as of now
oh my god I completely forgot about battle buddies lol. i used to play that game but then i stopped playing roblox so i didn’t know what happened to it
I tried it and it's beautifull but OMG waaaaay to slow to even see any gameplay. The first battle it's also slow but I'm doing ok, then his base grows legs and stomps my army - resetting my progress. yeah no thanks.
i’m one of the devs for bb. we’re *really* trying to get the ball rolling right now, but i would def recommend playing the first one since there’s more maps! the slow pace and base wipe are some things that will be reworked in the future for bb2 ^^ lots of polls and suggestions are being made in the community server, so feel free to follow along on there
just my 2 cents - could you try dropping new players into the action immediately then use the slower pace to tell the story? @@tackworks6490 the game is gorgeous but initial welcome screen is a wall of text and typical roblox player is going to bounce.
This video is actually an eye opener, it shows how much Roblox has changed over the years and how sad it actually is. I hope this video gets it's awareness because it shows how much Developers work hard to achieve their goals then they just get crushed by some mediocre game that'll die after a couple weeks or months. It's sad seeing we won't see old Roblox in a long time, or just never again.
The thing with Bee Swarm Simulator is that it pretty much set the pace for every other generic simulator afterwards. It's a good game (if progression can take months or even a year to truly reach the end of the game), and one I go back to every so often. Sure it can be boiled down to "Go to X for X amount of time to gather X amount" or "Kill X X number of times", but never have I felt like there wasn't something to do to try and progress.
Im gyessing you arent in the part of the game where your next grind is just more honey for mythics or shitloads upon shitloads of materials for an endgsme collector
It makes me really happy to see the demo for I Wanna Be The Bloxxer in this very video, especially considering what OptionalBossFight wanted to achieve. I recall them saying that they wanted Roblox games to be more interesting (and good) as well. And considering the current player count as of reading this, along with the popularity of this video, that just might happen! So cheers to the game devs who put their merit over money!
Exactly like that. I remember in the past you can find decent games more easily but now it's incredibly hard. My favorite from all is Realm of the 9 Portals which is a horror game with a lot of hidden lore in it. First time I played was like a breath of fresh air after all bad games. I really recommend to try it.
brute m1 sucks the e ability is so much better at getting hits elemental 260 hp can get all that back with a simple press of a button ticker hitbox sucks
@@rikup1ku3 1. why do u think the brute needs any more buffs? Its broken enough. The E move should do 60-80 damage. Needs nerfs asap! 2. Elementals are really trash. Their toxic stuff is already annoying enough
as a developer myself, I appreciate you bringing this topic to attention. I personally would really love to develop an original passion project to completion, but as is apparent in this video, passion projects often end up in the bin of obscurity. These types of games usually end up on very long periods of development, and often end up getting scrapped because they failed to build a large enough playerbase to keep interest on the game, which in some cases ends up in many staff members leaving the project because they don't see enough of a profit. And on that I would also like to note, finding developers for ambitious passion projects is often really hard, as trying to do something that goes against the cash grab formula is extremely risky, and a lot of developers don't want to work on a project where there is a chance of them not getting any profit. Eventually, these projects will end up with very small teams of anywhere from 1-10 people working on them because they failed to gain enough attention within a certain time frame. What I'm getting at is that It isn't just the players at fault for this neverending trend of soulless games, it can also be because the developers lack passion, or because they only see a project for it's profit. The 2 sides here both encourage each other to continue to make and consume garbage games in this perpetual cycle of nothing, and it really sucks to see, as it really demotivates me and other developers who want to make games that are genuinely fun and have passion behind them.
yep, I have heavy respect to developers that build and create games for passion and creativity and not just as an easy way to farm money. Most of these passion projects are also made by single developers in a one man team due to them not being able to find any other people who'd want to go against roblox's algorithm of popular games getting on the front page and hence, making the most money. Also, you really shouldn't give up on creating a game that's original and stems from your own creativity and passion just because it doesn't make you a profit. There are many things in this world than are much more valuable than even an infinite amount of money, and your imagination and ability to express it is one of them. Even if no one ends up playing your game, at least it'd be something that you'd be proud of. And heck, if you want me to, I'd be more than happy to play through it
@@Indocryptic ah I think you misunderstood what I meant. Personally I feel demotivated because I'm not sure if a project im passionate about will even get any attention. I dont care about profits at all, I just think it sucks when you put months and months into something and you get virtually nothing out of it
I have wanted to make a game for a while now but I was very worried about graphics but after discovering your channel and finding all these super cool games with basic but fun and retro graphics and animations I think I want to try and make a game now this channel really helps bring light to certain things that other popular roblox youtubers just don't care about
A game i love is The Depths of Reality, its a survival style level based game that was originally based on the backrooms but the devs now using their own ideas for future levels. The combat is very fun and the entities and environments look very good.
A game i like is called ragdoll factory it is quite grindy for endgame such as getting 500 million cash for the best endgame weapon it is a sequel for living ragdolls 2 with above 10 enemies it is currently in beta and more stuff is getting added it currently is dying at max it has 119 player lowest is 30 a example of its grindy aspect is that you need to kill a 15 million health boss 1 time and having to kill every enemys 15 time not including the almight which is the hardest boss it is more beginner friendly
One of my fondest memories is completing a weird zombie tower Roblox game that had cutscenes and a water monster boss that you had to eventually defeat for good. I did so with two or three complete strangers that felt like we were friends for years by then. Nowadays I see kids in my family play the game and it usually looks like one of those sites full of ads. Minecraft may have fallen from grace but Roblox feels like it descended below the depths of hell, it's such a shame.
Fact: Children or teenagers love to burn their neurons in games like this and especially in anime edits, as if ruining their buttons were something fun.
You speaking the truth man , Its getting harder for us Content Creators because the lack of actual good content , the main page now is 95% games that can easily be made in less than a week and theres 5% games that take time and hard work
I Feel Like this video really elaborates not only a very important topic (i say as a game dev myself who wants to make fun makes) But also the way u elaborate it rlly and everything u went over in the video just makes me feel like u should straight bbe mainstream.. in "Discussion"/ "Opining". The way u explained eveything rlly tells how u can just understand this so well is amazing. Love it. ^^ Earned a sub
cant believe someone finally discussed it! i agree with everything you said man, i only play 1 game steadily because it has actual effort put into it (arcane odyssey)
@@randomwanderer9825 Fr thats true, its not like blox fruits needs to be deleted, But it seriously is needing to stop being so overrated. I cant lie, I need to say that is another bandit beater of course, Atleast to be honest i can say the pvp and combos is pretty fun but thats all.
One apparent reason why games like Blade Ball and Blox Fruits get the most attention to players is because some of their features are referenced to anime series and these anime diehard little minors love it somehow.
Finnally someone decided to addres this issue! Lots of Respect! It is just sad that new player's or people who never played good games on Roblox give up and don't try the interusting one's. Really Loved the video, it was a breath of fresh air!❤❤❤
one of the best videos ive watched recently and probably the best video covering this topic, hope more bigger youtubers cover this topic to spread awareness of actual quality games.
As a former Battle Buddies fan, Battle Buddies is now a controversial franchise thanks to their creator being exposed for making p*rn of a fictional character that is a minor called "Jane". Plus, Battle Buddies 2 was a soft release that has been barely marketed its announcement due to the unpredictable fate of the game's creator being exposed.
Some good points raised there. I'm just sick of all the mediocre games out there now. I pretty much only play like 2 simulators which aren't just brainless clicking, and every now and then some other games mainly fighting or obbies or some unique concepts that pop up once in a while. Everything else is jump unoriginal boring concepts. Imo you can pretty much only get away with copying concepts with fighting games or obbies, anything else and it just doesn't work.
Great informative video. Hope you can keep building up. Anyways yea the roblox catalog is now just an App Store with extra steps and even if quality projects try to solve the replaying issue depending on the game, it would be really successful or subpar
Been on roblox for 7 years and it's just so hard to find a new game compared to then, most games I play right now are just the same games I've been playing for 3-5 years. This is a pretty good analysis and it's basically what I've been thinking, great video
Hey can you recommend me a game or two I found myself playing randomly generated droids if you even know what that is it perfectly displays replayability As everyrun is different it's also a game where if you die you reset all over again
For the last few years basically all i play is build a boat, entry point, some random dungeon crawlers/rpgs and robeats, there are just almost no new good games
Super doomspire is a gane you might want to try! A lot of replayability, Different playstyle and different weapons with different abilities! The game fighting style is also really unique in my opinion. And maybe if you get good enough youll get to do EPIC clutches.I hope youll like it, i cant bear see it die:(
For anyone that likes the open world rpg genre I really recommened Arcane Odyssey, the game is very well made and recently dropped a banger of a update.
W game, Who says that combat is bad must be a m1 spammer pvplayer that plays these trash roblox anime games, Not even to mention that this game is focusing more on PVE and Storyline. PvP inst all my homies.
I have been playing a game called Arcane Odyssey since its public release on Roblox. It is a quality experience with loads of nuance and I feel its replayability is actually well made unlike other quality games on the site. Now, picture this: I see a friend that I have been playing Arcane odyssey with is playing Blox Fruits, same with many, many more. I decide I'm gonna stick the game out for a while. The first sea was probably the worst time I had playing any game ever. When I reached the 2nd sea after an entire weekend of grinding to catch up, I was hit in the face with even more grinding, and that's when I decided enough was enough. Blox fruits has hundreds of thousands of players daily and has been kicking for years yet is horribly made. The only thing I can praise it for is the move animations are pretty flashy, but then other games have that so Blox Fruits isn't special. Hands down the least amount of fun spent on a game on recent time. It has similarities to Arcane odyssey but is way worse in every aspect. Why do older players *also* play brain rot? I will never understand
arcane died bc the devs didn't pump out the dark sea fast enough, i feel like if they did release it whilst still having the 50k-100k players it had at launch it'd be way more popular rn bc it has infinite replayabilty
Horribly made? You just don't like it, opinions exist, you should stop saying stuff like it's factual, and just say it's your opinion, you will get into arguments alot if u don't, and trust me, no one can escape arguments without feeling stressed and thinking the other person is human garbage, and that is not good or healthy for you.
@@oDawnMist honestly after playing Loomian Legacy a few years ago the updates seem fast in comparison. I don't mind having to wait a little bit for updates, can't say the same for everyone else though. Sad.
It's really sad that this has been the situation for many years because of the young player base and exploitive developers I've been supporting some unique games but as you said, many of them die due to the lack of activity Some games would be really fun if they had more people but those people just find themselves playing simulator games, slap battles, anime games and just a whole pile of games that are extremely easy for the player to play.
Phighting and ragdoll grounds are good examples of underrated high quality games, but the latter has unfortunately died because of the reasons you stated. ;-;
Love the mention of several games that I absolutely adore here. Pretty surprised to see HELLMET here at 4:33, didn’t think much people knew about the prequel of DVN. And on another note, I’d want to leave some games that weren’t specifically mentioned or had a big show in the video. - Dummies vs Noobs - HELLMET - Hexaria - Condition I (one) - PHIGHTING! (One of my favorites) - The Battle Bricks - HOURS - Entry Point Edit: Adventure Forward 2
This problem seems pretty easy to fix, just add an option that lets players filter out all games with micro transactions so we can actually see all of the creative games buried under the slop that is Skibidi backrooms tower defence or whatever kids are into these days
One of my favourite games on ROBLOX has got to be Starscape by ZolarKeth (a pretty known dev). Its basically just a simpler version of EVE Online. It unfortunately has a player count of around 50~ at the time of writing this. The points in this video perfectly encapsulates why this game failed to catch-on. Its quite complicated for the average ROBLOX gamer (Its based on EVE Online after all), is completely F2P other than some cosmetics and is still in its Beta phase of development (despite existing for a few years now). Wish more quality games get to the front page since the more I look at it, the more I just want to quit opening ROBLOX entirely due to a lack of original and quality content being produced and played.
@@horizeonguy I think it was both Lack of content and half toxic community and harsh punishments for people who venture too far making half the new players quit
List of cool games(most underrated): Defusal Neon Knights- top down rogue like Arcane Odyssey- open world rpg pirates and thingies Boost Vector- racing game but you run and it is not really parkour Phighting- class shooter Rogue Nightmare- rogue like game Hours- rogue like game but single player Attack on Titan: Revolution(best ODM gear) Specter 2- phasmaphobia inspired game Survive the night- survive the night while a killer is chasing you Dead Slate: Zombie Survival- zombie game but when you get infected you turn into a cool zombie Decaying Winter- wave defense Titan Warfare(most unique aot game) Right 2 Fight- best fighting game Hell Reaver Arena- doom but pvp Parkour- parkour Word Bomb- word game Deadline- EPIC AND HUGE weapon customization fps Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5- special forces
I think possibly an issue of having a smaller number of quality games is a lack of aspiring developers, it seems nobody wants to really make a game out of passion or stuff like that. And with most higher quality games, there can be a lack of content, or updates can take much longer than a average game.
i think that happened due to 2 things: 1. dev ex, which was introduced now about 10 years ago 2. the huge new influx of players during the pandemic which changed roblox's demographic a ton which were less focussed on making fun games they would wanna play, and more on the money side
@@FirestarWarriorCats1maybe make an idea first, scripting is just the process of making the game, worrying about code won't get you anywhere if you don't have an idea to start with
@@FirestarWarriorCats1 start out with an idea, if you cant get an idea, just take your favorite game and see what you could change with it, maybe a few mechanics or something else (just make it different enough) and just start thinking "what would be really nice in this genre of game" (or "would this be cool", since ultrakill was based off of that simple question and some balancing)
Been playing Roblox for a while now, and one particular gem is a game called Entry Point (I've seen that you even included it shortly in the video!). Watching this video, it made me want to give my two cents on how EP fits the bill for this. Availability - EP isn't a trend follower, and never has been (Unless you consider it a PD2 ripoff, but it honestly isn't once you look into it). It takes an extremely unique approach that makes it seem more like a game you'd find on Steam rather than Roblox. Microtransactions - EP is very lackluster in its microtransactions. Sure, you have a few minor ones here and there, such as EXP boosts, cosmetics, or exclusive weapons you can mess around with, but by far the biggest ones are the Expansion Missions. Theoretically this should influence players into staying right? Yeah, but the expansion missions aren't a "I bought it, so I have to make the most of it" deal. They're things you can feel complete in (Completing it on all difficulties, Rookie - Legend for most people). You feel as if you've made your money's worth once you've completed the mission, and have no real urgency to return to them. Replayability - EP thrives in Replayability in the rough Early Middle and Late Game, but everywhere else? Early game you're mostly learning, and there's a huge hurdle of mechanics, systems, tactics, etc etc that you have to understand in EP. Many people quit early because of how complicated the game is. Mid game is sort of grindy, where you're just completing missions to try and level up so you can complete the next mission. End game is a barren wasteland, as there's no real incentive to continue playing once you've gotten all the skins, beaten all the missions, understood the entire storyline, etc. Audience (woah new one) - Roblox is a platform that was originally designed for kids, and that's what most of the playerbase is. Most kids probably are playing on mobile devices, and EP is strictly PC based, which cuts its potential playerbase in half. Additionally, the game is extremely mature and complicated. From the larger than average amount of mechanics that you need to understand, many are quickly turned off due to it being too complicated. The game is also rather story focused, and people who don't care for such things will only be kept for so long. EP is a game that doesn't really belong in Roblox, and seems more fit to something like Steam, with an audience that's more preferrable for the game. ok rant over, EP good but unpopular because roblox or something
Yhea it's indeed a pretty insane game (which also made me rage a lot). I discovered it after a friend told me to join him, I don't regret it a single second. I think mature players avoid the simple and "clickbait" youtube channels that focus on playing mediocre games, kids don't focus on seeking good games but rather watch these videos. That's why there aren't many people on this game.
fr entry point was so goated back in the day, now everyone stopped playing it. Goated games like *elemental battlegrounds, stop it slender, vampire hunters, entry point, r2da and polyguns* all fell off but were super good. Then you see games like blox fruits, with such a shitty grind and horrible combat system have 900k players
A game I've always came back to is Critical Strike which is a simple class fighting game with fun gameplay and great classes, all with their own unique playstyle. Sadly the original creator stopped at V5.7.5 but luckily another team picked it up and has been supporting it, with new updates and class reworks.
you might already know but.. linking all the critical projects together theres a game called countless worlds that might come out this year. it looks really promising and I hope it gets attraction on release
As someone who started making combat warriors content a while ago(started around August of last year) It's sad to see that game and many others tilt more towards microtransactions to boost the player count. By doing that it ruins the uniqueness and the replayablity of the game since that's what drew me and many other content creators to the game in the first place.
Last time i played it felt incredibly unfair to lose to people using X weapon (example:dragonslayer) and once they hit one block i cant do anything and i just die.
An Actual Quality game is just insanely underrated. I remember playing hours when its only 100 player daily, and weird thing is that,i found it by the recommendation page, which is known to be a "Bad" Game Recommendation
I agree with you. I feel like it is because of how simple the games are. A big percent of the player base is young which makes more complex and unique games fall flat. If you try to make anything unique it is way harder to gain traction compared to creating a simulator.
My favorite obscure passion project is Find Everything. It has about 100 people on at its peak of the day and it's a really fun pay-to-play game which has a ton of content. I hate that games like it get swept under the rug by games such as Toilet Tower Defense just because you have to work to be good.
A game that I found a year ago on Roblox and it's so damn good is called Venture Tale. It's like Dungeon Quest but better, I've been playing this game since the beta and it's sad how it had such a brief spike in players and now it's basically abandoned again (like 50 players), there's an active discord community, the developers are promising to bring new things, but it still breaks my heart to see such a good game that took so much programming time have 0% recognition
battle bricks is underrated, its like battle cats but having more unique stuff like bosses actually having phases and a secret mode which makes enemies stronger and completely change bosses like giant person with a bucket and a hammer to a person who does not have armor but does more damage, has iron gauntlets, more hp and another phase that makes him a angry german kid
I really hated when Islands created bedwars, after this game last a while it took over 90% of islands players to that game along with other new players to make it alive but making islands feel dead, this was supposed to promote both islands and bedwars but however no one payed close attention to islands like bruh no one wants to fight the same kits over and over
as for someone who started playing islands (this is when grapes came out) before bedwars came out, islands is still a good game, even though its a copy from skyblock and extremely grindy, the playerbase really inspires me to play the game more and with weekly updates, some people on that game are hella creative icl.
That part about replayability hit me hard. I loved playing through entry point, but eventually just sorta lost interest after beating the main story. Of course, great game but replaying it doesn’t give the same feeling as it did the first time
Making the change from crim to commentary was such a good decision, I've been with you since I started criminality in summer 2022, your new content is so entertaining, Keep it up!
just tried the 2 games you showed and i love them both we need more youtubers and bigger ones to cover it to finally get them the attention they deserve also battle buddies 2 would make a great collab with doodle world or tower heroes which could be another way for it to get mainstream attention
im honestly happy to be part of evade community, to be one of the many that tried it since its launch. despite the repetitive gameplay the game has a unique concept and the friendly coop playstyle makes it feels like nothing could go toxic, unlike in other games like pvp games. it's been one of my comfort games for quite a long time. im so proud that it thrives to this day, having around 30k players everyday and still able to be competing against those unoriginal big games
surprised to see battle buddies 2 in here. I found it a while back while I was working for a roblox investment agency and that one peaked my interest. unfortunately we weren't able to get a deal done, but the game has great potential and I wish it luck.
The feats of smaller games shouldn't be diminished by successes of less quality games on the platform. 100 concurrent players may pale in comparison to the numbers that front page games pull in, but you have to remember that that's still a REALLY big number, and anyone should be proud for achieving that. I think niche games on roblox generally are more played and appreciated than those on other platforms, and that's something that deserves to be talked about.
Because those 100 players will appreciate the game, the hundreds of thousands playing those mediocre games are just mindlessly clicking, not happy, not enjoying this, but just clicking mindlessly
exactly, I'm a developer myself and i've never got above lke 15-20 concurrent players in my game, and most of the time some of those are just me and my friends playing at the same time to test it. I know there's all these new games with tens or hundreds of thousands of people playing them but getting 100 concurrent players and building a proper community for one of my games is a dream for me and I would be SO HAPPY if that ever came true. meanwhile these brainless ai generated looking games get tons of money and clicks but the players are basically just NPC kids who will click on anything colourful they see, and the worst part is the devs don't even appreciate it at all. they just sit there earning money from all the kids.
I once had 25-30 concurrent players on one of my games, which took quite a bit of time to get to. Was really proud of it. Sadly (or gladly), that game is abandoned, because of how buggy and old it was, but now, I have a Roblox group with almost 2k members and a discord server with almost 100 members, working on a new game, trying to make something that old players will appreciate, something similar to the old game, but at the same time something with much more care and time put into it, which may interest new people.
now as a person who also loves searching for new good roblox games i would love to see u make a series of u showing very good underated roblox games and i dont mean just some shit tier list lets say a 7 minute video 2 minutes per game simply explained pros n cons of the game and 1 minute intro outro ofc also its ofc your choice just i think it would do well good luck with your channel bro
On the note of supporting unique or otherwise high quality games, I'd likw to take a moment to reccomend trying out the following games! Mutation- Strangely complex Zombie VS Humans PvP game. There's a highly dedicated, small userbase. While difficult to play? It allows for massive amount of customization, letting your own playstyle be significantly more personal. Arcane Odyssey- Open world game set on the ocean with customizable magic, skills, and a deep movement/combat system. randomizers lol item asylum, allusions, random rumble
I think people just learned after 2018 that they really didn't need to try to make money. It's the same that happened to the videogame and movie industries.
I saw and played a ton of unique games in 2018 - 2019, I played over 30+ games that were one of the legendaries, around 2020 though.. The amount of anime games and dumb ripoffs is actually crazy at that time I went from play 30+ games pre 2020 to like me playing 4 games regularly
ngl i think ao is kinda overrated but tbh its much better than almost any front page game still. It is creative and mostly original, the devs also care about it and its not very monetized.
@@nicknick493 It isn't really overrated considering it has an average of 5K players daily. My problem with it is the optimisation and air stalling besides that it's pretty good.
Vesteria was so fun at its prime because of the player interactions, the game was about being with others. Now it averages less than 400 even after big updates.
Hey monobear I know you might see this and maybe no one will, but actually I have an in progress project (I hope it will be a big hit) and it will be an alien world MMORPG with horror elements called North UmdunI actually am writing a book and decided why not put my skills of development from the book Im making. So honestly when its out Ill probably put down a comment with the link if possible or you can just search it up haha. Anyways thanks for reading this if you did!
its been getting so much worse after each year, maybe its because im getting older and im just noticing it but i feel like games used to be different from each other and not simple cash grabs that come and go. Ive been playing since 2013 and theres only about 2 games that still keep me on the platform :/
Kids choose what Roblox has on the front page. Cuz they are so brain dead. If your game doesn’t have the flashy and colourful atmosphere they like, you must accept the fact that your game will not succeed as much as TTD
Error on my part at 3:59
I claimed toy defense was a copy of Toy Soldierz when that isn't true. Toy Defense released 3 years earlier than TSZ sorry for the mix up!
Secondly, I'm not sure why I called BSS uninspired when it was one of the first well established simulators on the platform, I meant to put a different sim but mixed even more stuff up lol.

To be fair, bee swarm simulator was one of the first huge simulator games and was original at the time
Edit: I didn't mean it's still not original, I just meant it has a lot more copies now
Agreed
It still is.
True
Yeah I'd say it was original because you needed to do a lot more than just clicking everytime in one spot, you had a hive to store bees that have unique traits, enemies and bosses that can change the relaxing simulator to an rts out of nowhere
Gas Station Simulator is one of those games that I would definitely call a simulator because it simulates the hard life of a gas station in the middle of nowhere
Poor power, lack of supplies, teamwork, fees etc. and you lose the game if you go bankrupt
Isnt that called Five nights at zachs at the moment?(Original name Zachs service station)
What he said at the near end makes a LOT of sense, it really paints the picture and gives an idea of the current state of roblox. The platform is now like an underground mine, you dig and search through dirt and rocks, the dirt and rocks being the mid to trash games, u dig to find gems which are the actual decent games that are often passion projects, rare and hard to find but worth it.
only to not find a buyer for it, aka a playerbase to enjoy it with
Leave my guy bee swarm alone.
Sadly they often never get updates
try playing traitor town, good community (haha, no.) and it’s very well designed, ttt but in roblox, what’s there not to like?

Great video! Definitely deserves more attention, and hopefully it gets it. I think a lot of people are simply stuck in their ways, and resistant to change or trying anything new. I also wanted to chime in that it's not just terrible copy paste games that work well on the Roblox Algorithms, but it's the YT Algorithms too. I can upload a video about an unknown game in a genre and get SMASHED by YT, meanwhile uploading cookie cutter garbage on whatever is popular is free views. It's really sad, and surely dissuades creators from giving attention to games that deserve it.

most popular game rn?
what roblox needs is a game review system. people should be able to write reviews for games and we could even have official roblox game critiques who write essays about games and then give a final rating out of 10. u could then "search by rating" and be able to see what people have given 10/10 (if anything that good even exists on roblox currently). this would only work if the people reviewing the games are 17+ though. i believe this would encourage more devs to make a game worthy of being 10/10
edit: bots wouldnt be a problem because of age validation (u need to show ur ID/passport) and neither would lying about ur age. i agree with some of the other replies tho. within the game reviewing community, there would probably be trustworthy reviewers that rise BUT there is the problem of bribing people to make good reviews. either way, i think a review system is a step in the right direction

Chances are official roblox game critics wouldn't really give a game a proper shot and would not account for all types of genres other people enjoy. It wouldn't work.
The problem with this is bots will spam messages own terrible games
problem: people lying about their age, trolls, or well written false reviews
As a small developer on Roblox I 100% agree with what you say. They make it nearly impossible for your game to grow even if it were to be better than 90% of top page games. Also games with the lowest effort put in to them get the most attention.

Yeah fr, I've been playing it since 2020 and yeah it's an amazing game if you haven't played it already, the game is entirely original and has its own original music that are made by undeniably talented creators, the community is great to hang out with, while some are just lowlife toxic hobos, but meh just ignore them.
FE2 was actually really popular back in around 2019-2020, it just fell off after they had a lot of bad updates like removing insane lock
It's a rather unfortunate situation, but it is something we can almost do nothing about. The best we can do right now is recommend actually good and original games to others, to help these games grow further and to support their development. They also lack replayability, games like Bloxfruits are actual horseshit with the constant grind to be permitted to do more grind, it is basically the Adopt Me for non-infants
However, it is the same grind chore that also keeps games like that alive, if the grind never ends you never stop playing, their games are set up in a way to make sure the player NEVER leaves.

Fun until you start grinding scs

Creative.
If there are any spelling errors sorry. Or a lack of periods cause I was just writing what came to my head.

There are two very good games I known that are very underatted, RBLXware and Kit Battle.
Totallly agree love the game
Quality games can be successful, but there is one mistake that every developer will make that can throw off other people: *Lack of replays ability*
When the game is too complex or too difficult, that can eventually make the players find the game doesn’t work for them.
* Has to be simple and easy to understand
* Has to be made for all audiences/ages in mind
* Has to have an infinite loop of replayability (as you said)
*Cosmetics and micro transactions to provide a better advantage to those that oay
These are what i think is most important. You’re very right on the replayability part.
that’s why games like anime adventures or astd are so popular. It’s easy to understand and you can play it infinitely due to there being no set goal in the game. And don’t think these game devs don’t know what they’re doing… they know exactly from every minute detail what they’re doing.
honestly this should be the top comment fr.
@Leite_Masculino_Gaming
Wow a game made for children has children in it. No shit Sherlock.
Exactly, so much better than blox fruits but blox fruits is more popular. GOD why is it like this?

Bee Swarm Simulator is the one simulator I can respect because its not just mindless clicking

A little difficult but fun combat mechanics
Decaying winter - wave defense survival teamplay game, the goal is to survive as long as possible, but it's very hard and has interesting gameplay mechanics.
Your goal is to survive until morning, hide and defend yourself from hordes of zombies while looking for food while trying to save ammo as much as possible.
you obviously have a certain genre you enjoy…
Let’s not forget guts and blackpowder

Badorkbee actually puts effort and care into their games. RULOST and Isle are probably my favorite roblox games of all time.
For real, I love Isle and abyss world. Abyss world is well based on made in abyss.

Microwave Dinner is also really fun, but it's player count has been rising so I'm glad that it's getting the attention it deserves.

as a developer myself, I appreciate you bringing this topic to attention.
I will never understand
arcane died bc the devs didn't pump out the dark sea fast enough, i feel like if they did release it whilst still having the 50k-100k players it had at launch it'd be way more popular rn bc it has infinite replayabilty
ao got boring really fast
Horribly made? You just don't like it, opinions exist, you should stop saying stuff like it's factual, and just say it's your opinion, you will get into arguments alot if u don't, and trust me, no one can escape arguments without feeling stressed and thinking the other person is human garbage, and that is not good or healthy for you.
@@Veldaza alright then. *in my opinion*, blox fruits lacks literally all basic principles of an actual game and is a glorified simulator
@@oDawnMist honestly after playing Loomian Legacy a few years ago the updates seem fast in comparison. I don't mind having to wait a little bit for updates, can't say the same for everyone else though. Sad.
It's really sad that this has been the situation for many years because of the young player base and exploitive developers
I've been supporting some unique games but as you said, many of them die due to the lack of activity
Some games would be really fun if they had more people but those people just find themselves playing simulator games, slap battles, anime games and just a whole pile of games that are extremely easy for the player to play.
Phighting and ragdoll grounds are good examples of underrated high quality games, but the latter has unfortunately died because of the reasons you stated. ;-;
@@probobility2635isn't phiting just critical strike?
Survive the Disasters 2 still hase updates despite it's low player count. I'm honestly surprised it's still active.
And the ones that aren't smothered by the simulator garbage end up being ruined and killed by their own devs
@@kaden-sd6vbYeah sadly
Love the mention of several games that I absolutely adore here. Pretty surprised to see HELLMET here at 4:33, didn’t think much people knew about the prequel of DVN. And on another note, I’d want to leave some games that weren’t specifically mentioned or had a big show in the video.

Wish more quality games get to the front page since the more I look at it, the more I just want to quit opening ROBLOX entirely due to a lack of original and quality content being produced and played.
man I loved starscape, and I still remember when it used to average several hundred players every day

Ah... survive the night, the devs legit copied the old game and deleted the ability to defend yourself and it gets more players, really says alot.
I think possibly an issue of having a smaller number of quality games is a lack of aspiring developers, it seems nobody wants to really make a game out of passion or stuff like that. And with most higher quality games, there can be a lack of content, or updates can take much longer than a average game.
i think that happened due to 2 things:
1. dev ex, which was introduced now about 10 years ago
2. the huge new influx of players during the pandemic which changed roblox's demographic a ton which were less focussed on making fun games they would wanna play, and more on the money side
I want to make a good game
the thing is,
*I'M NOT GOOD AT SCRIPTING*
@@FirestarWarriorCats1maybe make an idea first, scripting is just the process of making the game, worrying about code won't get you anywhere if you don't have an idea to start with
Roblox is running out of passionate developers probably because it's a terrible platform to start a cereer on.
I love entry point but sadly none of my friends play entry point
As a CS player from years and years ago, I wish you luck in your future games.
you might already know but.. linking all the critical projects together theres a game called countless worlds that might come out this year. it looks really promising and I hope it gets attraction on release
@@FunnyNotfunny-s9r Yea I remember checking that out, I had fun with it. Hope it gets the attention it deserves.
@@FunnyNotfunny-s9r I've only ever played critical strike. Were there any other critical games I wasn't aware of?

Yeah, is there even a good simulator on the platform?
My favorite obscure passion project is Find Everything. It has about 100 people on at its peak of the day and it's a really fun pay-to-play game which has a ton of content. I hate that games like it get swept under the rug by games such as Toilet Tower Defense just because you have to work to be good.
i keep seeing it at my homepage recommended and i want to play but im broke
I love battle cats
Battle bricks is AMAZING. God bless hammer battler
I dont want to grind to beat the hard pevel though
@@Croissantcreep wait is hammer battler good?
it is pretty good but for me the levels are always too easy or too hard
Of course, great game but replaying it doesn’t give the same feeling as it did the first time
i fucking loved entry point, sadly its losing players as time moves on
I hope ep 2 will be good

im honestly happy to be part of evade community, to be one of the many that tried it since its launch. despite the repetitive gameplay the game has a unique concept and the friendly coop playstyle makes it feels like nothing could go toxic, unlike in other games like pvp games. it's been one of my comfort games for quite a long time. im so proud that it thrives to this day, having around 30k players everyday and still able to be competing against those unoriginal big games
surprised to see battle buddies 2 in here. I found it a while back while I was working for a roblox investment agency and that one peaked my interest. unfortunately we weren't able to get a deal done, but the game has great potential and I wish it luck.
What a roblox investment agency is ?
I’m glad bb2 was on here as well
Creator is sadly losing motivation though
Thanks for the tips on how to find creative games dude!

Kids choose what Roblox has on the front page. Cuz they are so brain dead. If your game doesn’t have the flashy and colourful atmosphere they like, you must accept the fact that your game will not succeed as much as TTD
