Awe well thank you so very ouch for heading here as well! glad Tracie’s gave them a go and did other ways as well! Love it all!! You’re so very welcome!!! Now go create!! lol! 🩷
These turned out amazing. Thank you for the tip on paper behind transparency to help with cutting. I don’t know why I never thought of that. Something so simple helped so much.
Love it!!! I threw out my looking glass spray when it wouldn't spray anymore.... it was OLD like 15 years or so .... OLD and I thought "No, you don't need to replace it"..... I was so so wrong!!! So SO many ideas.... shoppng time!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Haha!! That’s so funny!! I was surprised that mine still worked as good as the day i bought it.. so awesome that you are going to give this a go. It was a lot of fun!! Have the most wonderful, amazing day! 🩵
I just found your channel a few days ago. I really like your work. Thank you. I love grudge stuff, too. I use a dye I make meant for fabric , use on paper. Iron oxide. Using a quart jar, 1 cup vinegar, 2-3 cups water and I use nails that rust. Store in dark' ish stop and in a few weeks iron oxide! I have gotten amazing results on paper. And the paper is writable. No page is the same. Also, I made a dye with red roses, vinegar boil. And for some reason, I decided to experiment by adding a little bit of the iron oxide to the red roses dye. It turned black! Even the rose leaves. Black. And that has a cool effect on paper too.
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting my channel.. I truly appreciate it. Yes! I love that you love to experiment as well I work with almost anything and everything I can get my hands onto.. love iron oxide .. The ph turned the roses black… getting different results is what I love about experimenting. Have a wonderful day! 💙
Hi Angie- well I learned a lot of new things in this video! TY! I wish the camera hadn't shut off as you were painting the paper. Everything looks great and is so cool!
Hello oh yay! Glad you took a some tips and ideas away.. could you give a timestamp on what you are referring too?? And maybe I could empathize a little for you. I tried to capture all the steps of the process, which I thought I did , but maybe I missed something? If you’re referring to TS 19:00… I didn’t do anything more off camera. As I only stopped to make sure I didn’t lose all the what I just recorded. East to go back a step or two, rather than start all over. If this isn’t what you’re referring to please let me know. Thank you again for stopping by! I appreciate your support and I hope you give this a go. Tag me if you do! Have a wonderful rest of your week! 😊
@@angiegarciaart hmmm. The part where you painted the paper, not the mirror part or darkening the edges of the mirror.. You said it didn't record. Are we in the twighlight zone or what! 🤣😂😅 to be honest, I'm not likely to watch again for the time stamp, just too much to do. 🙌
I love these Angie! Where do you get your small pieces of plexiglass glass? If you cut yourself, what do you cut it with? Thanks in advance and thanks for sharing! Hugs! ❤️
I’ve had a stack for a few years now.. and I believe I got them at an art store.. they are about the size of a sheet of paper and about an 16 of inch thick. I use a good exact knife like the retractable ones or a box cutter and a straight edge. I score and snap like glass. You vm a just keep scoring till you cut through as well. 😊

Darn it… I do believe your local print stores will print on transparency for you. But I have no don’t that in a long time so not 100% sure… but I’d hope you can give this a try soon! Have a wonderful evening! 🤎
Purple Maddness Petunias. Picked and soaked in vinegar and water. Dyes the paper purple, but as the days go by, the paper turns this beautiful green, and some bits have a bit of purple. Any ideas?
@@Bridgetgethins hmmm I’m not sure as I don’t do a ton of dying with flowers. The only thing I can think of is the air is oxidizing the paper as it sits. Maybe keep them in a Ziploc airtight bag or container. You could also try sealing them to keep them purple. Just a few suggestions… that might help.
@@pamallenheringer9677 thank you so very much! I use acetate for inkjet printers. You can find them on Amazon. If you have trouble finding them I can try and get you a link…
