Not every person who says "I am a Turk" is a Turk, he just claims to be a Turk. At most 30 percent of Türkiye's population can be Turk; It is not possible to be genetically Turk anyway; only the claim of being ethnically and linguistically Turkish may be true; In fact, until 1923, it was difficult to even come across the word "Turk" under the anti-Turk Ottoman rule. Finland was also the first country in Europe to give women the right to vote.

Or the like Arabic style force anyone into a mosque if they are on the street during the prayer, cut up a journalist with a chainsaw just because they said something critical about the ruling family? what kind of Islam are you talking about? There are 40-50 different variations of Islam. The religion is a personal matter of anyone, and it should be like that. Turkey is the best in this matter. Except Erdogan really screwed up things in Turkey and he continues to do so.
That's because Turkey is not a Middle East / Arabic country. Turkey has it's own modern culture, Turkish culture. Gender equity is the main principle of the country. On the other hand, Turkey is already a part of Europe. Culture and religion are two different things. Also geography matters most!
During the cold war, great efforts were made to Islamize the Turkish people to prevent the spread of communism and they are still trying to do this, but most of us have nothing to do with Islam, but even though we do not follow any Islamic rules, we believe in Allah and say that we are Muslims. And we do not like Arabs and other strict Muslims at all because their understanding of Islam does not fit our understanding at all. We only perceive fearing God and doing good as religion, but they impose irrational and stupid things as religious rules.

Despite the long-standing rule of an Islamist government, efforts to further Islamize Turkey seem to be significantly backfiring. As someone who was born into a Muslim family, formerly a believer, and now an agnostic atheist for the past 22 years, I view this development with satisfaction. There is a noticeable rise in questioning Islam, leaving the faith, and exploring alternative belief systems such as atheism, agnosticism, deism, pantheism, and spirituality, especially among the younger generation in Turkey. This growing interest in diverse thought systems reflects a broader societal shift towards intellectual diversity and individual freedom.
Unfortunately, you could not realize that what is commanded in the book and what is mentioned and implemented are completely opposite because you did not obey the command to read, like them. After all, what good would it do if you changed your belief or status in a place where ignorant people are in the majority? By realizing the facts, you did not draw them to your side, you joined their side. Nothing has changed, now you are one of them, and because you cannot understand this, you will never be able to show them right and wrong.
İslamize Turkey? For the past 1100 years Anatol is muslim majority region. Ottomans (700 years of reign) ruled not just Turkey region but other countries regions as well. Some of them remained non muslim. If Ottomans force a religion on its citizens, half of the europe would be a muslim country given it remained in power for about 700 years. You people follow trends, listen to what you like and pretend to have an educated opinion. I dont know whether i should laugh or pity on you People leave İslam bc they dont know İslam. Bc atheist education system is sociologically forced on children. System looks down on you if you are religious and there is no solid way to learn about İslam. Only mostly psyco shiekhs. Man... I love these videos... Time to fix some mistakes: 1-Eastern Roman Empire (the one you call as Roman Empire) is the same as Byzantine Empire, it literally had a name change because Istanbul called as Byzantium before it was called Constantinople. 2-Istanbul is not found by Constantine. It was found by the Kingdoms left from Alexander's Empire. Constantine renamed it as Constantinople when it was first Romanized. 3-Population of 15 Million is official number, it is claimed that it even gets over 20 Million with unofficial numbers, and even 25 Million when people from neighbouring areas visit the city for work. 4-The reason why people do not sit on the Ferry is because there is no places to sit, commuting is nightmare. 5-There is no "fresh air" in the strait, it is highly polluted due to never ending visits of carriers and tank ships. 6-Living in Istanbul, is like living in Istanbul. I've lived in a lot of countries in the world, in different geographical areas. It is one unique country and even unique city. There is no other. 7-Men and women are not obssesed about anything, this is a TV Show clique. 8-Turkey is among the first countries that has granted "liberation" to women, recognition of women was in 1930s, it had a female Prime Minister named Tansu Çiller, and it is pioneer in recognition of women's rights with "Istanbul Agreement". 9-Having Mosques is like having churches, and calls for prayers are the same as bells. According to this criterion, more than half of the Western countries are far-right Christians. 10-Istanbul is not safe to walk at night for any gender, there is more than thievery for both genders. 11-Turkey in general accepts everyone, because it is a multi-cultural country, it is the capital of human history when you consider its location. 12-People commute in public transport because most of the people cannot afford car, let alone oil for the car. 13-Turks do not interfere with your life not in Istanbul, but anywhere in the world, they are respectful as long as you are respectful to them. 14-"Value" part of the video is really one sided and wrong. Turks are generally welcoming when it comes to values of others, this also includes the internal differences. Not everyone holds Islamic views or like Atatürk, but they respect people's beliefs even if they do agree with each ther, and they want other people to respect others as well. So the defend the values and rights of people that are not agreeing with them. Only difference with respect to Islamic values and Atatürk's values are the protection of one of these values as you explained in the video. Moreover, the country is not homogenous, and every region has different values, so only difference is not on Islamic views or whether someone likes Atatürk. Turkey is a country that is full of different cultures that has anchestry based on an extinct nation that was living in Anatolia. When you go to a village from other you will realize that people may speak differently and have entirely different views on something. Though, fun fact, everyone in the country coexists peacefully, because they respect one another. 15-%99 of the population is not Muslim; with current population it makes 810.000. There are a lot of Christians (Armenians, Orthodox, and Catholics), Atheists, and Pagans in the country. 16-"Admiration of wealthy" is not real, this is another TV Show clique. 17-Alcohol is legal everywhere. It is just expensive. 18-Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque are not the only attractions, there are plenty more. Some people come to city just because it is convenient. 19-There are no water problems in Turkey nor in Istanbul. The dams level of water goes down during the summer due to high heat and no rain, but it fills up during the rest of the seasons.
May Allah bless Turkiye for helping the refugees, I know it has been long and difficult but Turkiye is one of the few countries that will actually do it.

Many suffer seeing the plight of the most magnificent church of the Orthodox. Surely same for mosques converted into churches. Persecution, killing, taking over is not of God.
Hagia Sophia was a church from AD 360 to 1453. It became a mosque after the the fall of Constantinople in 1453 and remained so until 1935, when it became a museum. In 2020, the site once again became a mosque. Turks are beautiful people.
Beneath the indifferent expanse of the world's geography lies a tapestry woven with the threads of human despair and fleeting triumphs. Mountains stand as solemn witnesses to the passage of time, their peaks untouched by the fleeting concerns of those who traverse their bases. Rivers carve relentless paths through the land, oblivious to the civilizations they nourish and destroy. In the vast, desolate deserts, the shifting sands whisper tales of forgotten empires and lost souls, reminding us that in the grand scheme of the Earth’s silent topography, our existence is but a momentary disturbance in an eternal void.

Lol nonsense
It seemed ridiculous, but it worked. Our eyes have been opened.
I dont know whether i should laugh or pity on you
People leave İslam bc they dont know İslam. Bc atheist education system is sociologically forced on children. System looks down on you if you are religious and there is no solid way to learn about İslam. Only mostly psyco shiekhs.
Educated west is becoming muslim, İslam is the fastest growing religion.
Maybe your wannabe western attitude will lead you to İslam someday. @@onurcan8434
"99% of the population is Muslim" is a false statement. the majority, yes, but we have lost of ppl from various beliefs, and agnostic and atheist individuals.
It's not Muslim country it's the country of the Turks only
what happened with the non-muslims who were 25 % of the population 120 years ago ?
And +5 million syrian and afghani immigrants and also kurds which makes up the 12-15% of the population

Man... I love these videos... Time to fix some mistakes:
1-Eastern Roman Empire (the one you call as Roman Empire) is the same as Byzantine Empire, it literally had a name change because Istanbul called as Byzantium before it was called Constantinople.
We don't want you, we've seen enough of you, go away now.
After spending five years sailing from England to Turkey on my small yacht with my son every summer for three years we sailed up and down the Turkish coast, many many islands and interesting small inlets and ports, we still have wonderful memories, I thoroughly recommend visiting Turkey.
The general information and interpretation of this video is update and accurate. How did you achieve this much information and made clear inferences? Thanks for your efforts nice video.

One correction : Hagia Sofia was originally a Church.
Yes. Correct. It was a church. But It was changed as a mosque by erodgan.
Thanks Mr president for changing from church to masjid

@@h.alshidhani8971 Alhamdulillah, all churches of Europe will be converted to Mosque soon.
CHURCH IS A PLACE FOR WORSHIPPERS OF THE HUMAN-PROPHET-JEW JESUS SON OF MARY!
MOSQUE IS A PLACE FOR WORSHIPPERS OF GOD (ALLAH) !
Many suffer seeing the plight of the most magnificent church of the Orthodox.
Surely same for mosques converted into churches.
Persecution, killing, taking over is not of God.
Love Turkey. Been to the country three times in different places, cant wait to visit again
Hagia Sophia was a church from AD 360 to 1453. It became a mosque after the the fall of Constantinople in 1453 and remained so until 1935, when it became a museum.
In 2020, the site once again became a mosque.
Turks are beautiful people.
My dream city to travel to soon. Next is the Baalbek ruins, especially the Baachus temple.

Thank you for the video. For some reason some movies portrays Turkiye with a strange yellow filter with camels and desserts ( even though there are no deserts or camels in our country) Maybe it is hard to believe that a country located in Middle East can be secular :)

Brother Ivan, why you forget to mention that thousands of mosques and Synagogues were converted to churches when Muslim Sultans were defeated in Spain Portugal . That also long before 1453.
Believers want their country to represent their faith.
