As an African American my friends who have visited Iran say they feel safer there than the streets of DC. Also they say the streets are clean, no one wants to rob you. Not treated bad bc they were AA.
Yes, you're absolutely right. Iran is a country with a rich history and culture, and its people are very kind and hospitable.I hope you can check out this beautiful country and have a great time.
A real eye-opener for me. They're doing well despite harsh sanctions, but western media only focuses on the negative. Back in the late 1960s I had a Persian workmate in the UK. He was a really nice guy.
that comes from leaving some barbaric rules like sharia of islam by majority of poeple which has dramatically seen in europe countries last decade , refugees issues specially muslims
As someone influenced by American media, I believe Iran is indeed a severely underrated country... I hope that one day in the future, I can visit Iran.
I was in Iran for a week or so in 2017, visiting Tehran, Shiraz and Esfahan, travelling by air, rail and road. I loved every bit of the experience - the food, culture, ancient Persian civilisation, architecture, the bazaars, etc. I felt safe, no one stared or bothered me, no one tried to sell me anything. The Iranians are nice people. Too bad the country has received so much bad Press from the Western media. I hope to return and visit other cities in Iran.
You have no idea how grateful i am as an Iranian after watching your episodes about the country i live in . thank you so much and hope you are safe and sound where ever you go ❤
Iran is one of the most beautiful, nice and rich culture country, but in reality, not in the media. I love Iran and Iranian people. They are most friendly in the world❤
I am from Vietnam, we usually see lot of negative news and information about Iran on Western media. But this video changes my mind. Thank for telling the truth.
I'm happy to see your comment, Iran is so beautiful with kind people, I recommend u to visit Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd. they predict rich history of Iran. u wont regret ❤
This video shows about big cities. In villages no freedom for women . No one lady or female child without bardha ie. head covered by cloth. Why?. Is this not compulsory or mandatory for them?.Please honestly say.

I think iran is still thriving besides the US sanctions.. Cause US sanctions NO LONGER HAVE POWER, thanks to new super power countries such as China and Russia.. "Hijab is law but doesn't limit their style" what BS, that's complete nonsense. The government imposed dress code literally limit their styles by telling them that they can't wear any t shirt, short, dress, skirt, basically everything young girls want to wear isn't allowed so how is that not limiting?
I've visited Iran and many many countries around the world..firstly the people of Iran, the culture and the food is simply amazing. You cannot beat Iranian culture and hospitality. Secondly, Iranian cities were cleaner and much safer than cities in the USA and Europe..you certainly dont have people with guns, knives, druggies, mentally unstable, or pick pockets roaming the streets causing issues

Lord people. They put up a glossy video showing public transport, cars and shops and you are sold😂. Just her mentioning “hijab is law” is a red flag on “ diversity “ . Just because women are doing aerobics outside doesn’t mean they are equal to pursuing any life they want. Again, hijab laws should kinda make you think. If you want to wear it fine, that’s your choice. If you don’t, that should be your choice too. I’m not debating a stranger on UA-cam, but I’m saying that all you people who are ready to pack your bags and go should do a little research yourselves. All that glitters is not gold.

“Youth chatting with each other” in the streets? This is such a propaganda channel. Men and women aren’t allowed to mix in public, which is why none of the videos here will show men and women in groups together even on the sidewalks. No one thinks Iranians are religious zealots, everyone knows they aren’t. People also know their government is comprised of religious zealots.
This video opens up new insights about Iran for me personally, previously I thought that Iran is an orthodox country, Iranian citizens, especially women, wear a tightly closed hijab / burka and are identical to other ancient fashions, men are not much different from women, especially in terms of dress, cities in Iran are ancient cities that are far from the impression of fashion, After seeing this video show my view changed 100% from my original expectation, thank you
In orthodox country women do not wear hijabis ...thankfully .I have respect for all religions and I wish that wering hijabi was always personal choice and not forced like it is today :(

People have many incorrect notions. Iran has a lot of modern infrastructure. Also, they make beautiful movies. Women are very present in the workforce. In the big cities, wearing a head scarf is not such a strict requirement. Women get college degrees. Women can drive personally. Also commercially, such as taxi driver. Still has a ways to go regarding women's rights, but it is progressing.
Wow. Never knew that Iran is such a beautiful place. I am truly impressed. I would love to visit one day. It reminds me of Hamburg in Germany 1970/80. Superclean, super orderly, super friendly.... ❤ from New Zealand.

Haven't visited Persia yet, but have met many Persians abroad. That's more or less of what i expected to see, but it's definitely much cleaner than most of the European cities 😅 Thank you so much for sharing.
Please note that it is not "PERSIA". Persia is a false old name , it's Iran. And about Persians , Persians doesn't refer to all Iranian people it's only refer to Persian people who live in the central regions of "Iran" that also should be "iraninans".
It seems that using the name Persia has sparked some comments without me having any intention in doing so. I am fully aware of the meaning and the history of both names. I used Persia because I feel it is inclusive of the vast history, tradition and civilisation of this great nation without any political conotations. Anyone can find errors in other people's comments if that's what they wish to do so. The point is, that I want to visit the country.

We also call this bread in iran lavash. Its the most traditional and ancient type of bread in iran dating back to thousands of years ago. Abf also iranians respect the bread alot. Um surprised about these similarities..

Iran can be like any country in Eastern Europe, people are smart, outgoing, sophisticated, and educated. The only thing that needs to be changed is the people in power. Once sanctions are lifted and money flows to upgrade civil and urban infrastructure, Iran can become a second Germany very quickly.

This is a great story about my home country of Iran. But I think this is largely sugar-coated. They’re trying to show you only the good, but not the bad, neither the ugly. Iranians are one of the nicest people in the world as almost everyone else has mentioned here. I just wanted to add that now you see Iran like this, just imagine if the revolution of 1979 had not happened, this country would be on top of the world. We wouldn’t have to show you videos like this to prove that we are nice and friendly people in a safe country. I could go on and on, but don’t think everything is so great there.
nobody thought Iran was underdeveloped... but why did that girl get killed on the subway because she wasn't veiled then? i've just gone factchecking and veiling is still mandatory in Iran... the fact that some brave women are risking their lives to protect their freedom doesnt mean that they wouldnt be beaten if the police caught them. it's obvious that many women in this video dont want to veil/definitely disagree with the law: they have a very loose backup veil that they probably adjust properly only when those brutal officers see them. it's like masks and covid: just because many people were wearing them loosely does it mean they were not mandatory? I dont care if they have thousands of subway lines. as long as women's appearance is demonised, it is still not a country I would support.
@Ahura_Mazda111 The problem is within your government and people. Not islam Look at Saudi, UAE and Qatar. They're progressing countries while applying sharia law. So cut the bullshit and admit that your rulers failed to govern your country well

Watching this video, for sure there is another perspective to see the Iran and its daily life. It suprised me to see many girls/women without wearing the hijabi, or wearing it without covering all the head. Ok I knew before to see this video, that Iran is not the Afghanistan ... this is a nice confirmation, but we can't say there is the same freedom that you can experiece in the most of the occidental countries. PS The repression of women's freedom is a fact, there is no denying it!
Why do woman carry headscarf why man don't? Or why can man wear t-shirt but women can not? And do woman really have a choose to wear it or not? That is the issue. Furthermore it looks nice and friendly of course like in every big city where people have money to spend. So what's the point you're trying to make? If somebody makes fun of Jesus, we in Netherlands laugh about it. But if we make fun about a certain prophet there will be groups in Iran (even government) who will be very angry. And can you be openly gay in Iran or is it still illegal? That's probably why people think of Iran in certain way and this video does not change anything.
I wish the world was open for all to travel everywhere. As an American I wouldn’t dare go over there, but I’ve only heard great things about Irans people, the government not so much. I wish countries didn’t cause trouble with each other.
When my of my family wanted to go to Iran (American married to a Persian for over 60 years), about 20 years ago, her mom and siblings told her not to go because they thought she will be killed there being an American! poor souls! They believed Persians hate Americans (Well educated family but stupid as majority of Americans). They believe whatever they are told!). She told them her husband would not take her if there was any danger. She had the time of her life there so much so that she went back every couple of years :) You should have seen the family's jaw dropping, the first time she traveled and came back. They expected her to come back in a body bag I guess! Americans are easily manipulated by their gov and media. NO CRITICAL thinking!

And I’m so surprised that the country i was born in like Lebanon which is like the third world country most people there condemn Iran and they think they are much better which they cannot create a sewing needle , and this goes to all the regions over there..
Thank you for your appreciation of Iran and its resilience. It's impressive how Iran has managed under long-term sanctions. Every country has its own strengths and challenges, and it's important to recognize and respect the efforts and achievements of different nations.
you should say the fact that how much iranian people are suffering under the sanctions, and the fact that the iranian currency is the most worthless currency in the world, and iranians can hardly provide meet or fish meet, or it has become a dream for many people to buy a house or a cheap car, while iran has the third highrst oil resources, and second gas resources, and iran has 20 percent of all of the natural resources in the world while it has only one percent of the population of the world. And all of these are because of the actions of the government. Also tell him about the hijab law. And how the prices would become doubled every 5 months. This is what that happens to a country that becomes sanctioned for a half century. And also tell him how the elite students, engineers, doctors, and nurses are fleeing the country, and go to canada and the US. And how the people are not even allowed to dress as they wish. All the beauties of iran at this time is because of iranian people and what iran had achived until 50 years ago.

"Iran" means "land of the aryans". Persia is the name greek gave them, they refer themselves as arians. Even Hitler recognized that.
It seems that using the name Persia has sparked some comments without me having any intention in doing so. I am fully aware of the meaning and the history of both names.
We also call this bread in iran lavash. Its the most traditional and ancient type of bread in iran dating back to thousands of years ago. Abf also iranians respect the bread alot. Um surprised about these similarities..

Inshallah mate,

Iran can be like any country in Eastern Europe, people are smart, outgoing, sophisticated, and educated. The only thing that needs to be changed is the people in power. Once sanctions are lifted and money flows to upgrade civil and urban infrastructure, Iran can become a second Germany very quickly.
The people in power have done an AMAZING JOB - most savage harsh sanctions in history and look at what they built ! Look at how they kept society safe and protected it from wokeness and neoliberalism !

Greetings from America. I just came across this video and I'm glad i did. I really appreciate how kind and down to earth the Iranian people are.
Ur government is dreaming everyday to have control over Iran. But we saw what u guys did to AFG, Libiya and Iraq.
@@Ghost-po9lc Can't blame you for that comment, just remember it's our government and not the people. Love and peace
@@Ghost-po9lcOur government is occupied. We will never forget the men and women who perished USS Liberty 1967.
I feel like Iran and Mexico are a lil bit similar, modern but traditional at the same time . They’re clean and their food also looks so good.
It's first time I see video with Teheran, and I think it is beautiful!!!! And so much green, an enormous park!!!!! I'm impressed!!
Love from Greece
I was in iran for 15 days and it is one of the most cleanest, cultured and beautiful place out there.
nobody thought Iran was underdeveloped... but why did that girl get killed on the subway because she wasn't veiled then? i've just gone factchecking and veiling is still mandatory in Iran... the fact that some brave women are risking their lives to protect their freedom doesnt mean that they wouldnt be beaten if the police caught them. it's obvious that many women in this video dont want to veil/definitely disagree with the law: they have a very loose backup veil that they probably adjust properly only when those brutal officers see them. it's like masks and covid: just because many people were wearing them loosely does it mean they were not mandatory? I dont care if they have thousands of subway lines. as long as women's appearance is demonised, it is still not a country I would support.
As an Iranian, I agree with you.
I AM DEFINITELY VISITING IRAN FROM UK 🕉

behold that wherever islam rise that civilization will be fallen there , thus iranian leaved up Sharia and this led to this atmosphere

I loved the way the bakers created that amazing looking flatbread. The way they somehow manage to slap that dough onto the inside wall of the oven was incredible to see. I’ve never seen anything like that. Loved the guitarist and cat. Iran looks beautiful.
That oven is called a tandoor, same as in India.
It is a standard way to make bread from Caucasus countries through Central Asia to India. How do you think naans in proper Indian restraunts are made ?
@@dmitripogosian5084 Well I really didn’t know anything about it having never seen that type of oven before or a person using it to produce this type of bread. It looks amazing.
@@soarornor If you live near some big city, you probably can find Iranian or some Middle Eastern bakery that will have a tandoor somewhere in back kitchen. Part of my roots are from Armenia and my dad always recalls how his grandma was baking bread in a clay tandoor like oven.
@@dmitripogosian5084 I live near Portland, Oregon in a rural area. There are a few such restaurants in Portland where that kind of delicious bread accompanied by well made hummus is served.
PS The repression of women's freedom is a fact, there is no denying it!
glad to add a new perspective to the narative about this country so glad to see
As a foreigner I love soo much this country IRAN❤
She had the time of her life there so much so that she went back every couple of years :)
You should have seen the family's jaw dropping, the first time she traveled and came back. They expected her to come back in a body bag I guess! Americans are easily manipulated by their gov and media. NO CRITICAL thinking!

Such a beautiful country and very intelligent people,in the same time the Iranian people are self efficient and they have been under sanctions for over 40 years and they still going.

I am Argentine, and although I have never bought into much of the Western propaganda about many non-Western countries, I am pleasantly surprised by what I see about Iran. I understand that there must be many limitations to freedom, gender inequality and religious impositions, but all very far from that image of a backward, poor country dominated by a religious dictatorship that the Western media sells us. I see a beautiful country, not very different from many in the West, with a rich Persian tradition. Greetings from Argentina.
