0:30 is crucial. After having fought your way across the continent, you realize you were wrong. The song imo accurate reflects at that point the idea that while Isaac has been struggling, Felix and his friends are truly fighting with everything on the line. If they fail, the world will be destroyed. No question, and they understand. So they fight Maybe I'm reading into it. I was maybe 10-13
I've played through the games very recently and I'd say you are pretty spot on. Isaac and his party were operating under the misguided rules that sealed the elemental stars in the first place. Back then the widespread use of psynergy meant that the use of magic was widespread and common and nearly lead to a catastrophic war that could have destroyed the entire planet, so the elemental stars were sealed and psynergy was locked away, only accessible to a select few. Fast forward to Golden Sun, the planet is dying. Isaac and Garet are made to believe that to restore the power of psynergy to the world would unlock a power that could destroy the world. They don't know about the planet's gradual decay and the cost of continuing to keep psynergy locked away. This is something Felix, and Jenna were aware of because of Saturos and Menardi who were aware of this. There's also the fact that Jenna's parents and Isaac's father were alive and being held in the home of Saturos and Menardi and the only way to ensure they are allowed to leave is to light all the lighthouses. So there is a lot at stake for Felix and why he must continue to light the lighthouses, even if it means eventually having to face Isaac in battle.
I’ll admin, I played Golden Sun over quarantine. I didn’t care about it too much and thought it was some boring knights game, that was until I heard about it from Smash because of Issac requests. So over quarantine I played the game on my old Wii U that I found. It was a game that I will never regret playing

while issac battle theme is an instant banger, this theme grew on me over the course of the playthrough. ended up really liking it, on par with isaac's

This is random but I just realized while playing GS 2(its my first play through)that Felix does in fact make one vocal sound in golden sun the lost age.when he's climbing up a cliff and one of those wind statues push out of the rock he grunts from the impact before falling down (I can't help but think of the roblox death sound oof but make it smoke a pack of cigs) it sounds like his vocal chords are fried like he screamed a lot in the past but it's hard to tell bc it's so brief.Though to be fair he did have to deal with Saturos and Menardi for three years and they didn't seem very friendly with him so I imagine they argued a lot?
oh man. I miss this game. I need to get a GBA SP so i can still play it. My old DS broke and now i have a dsi. (No GBA slot was a bad move in my opinion, unless the start releasing GBA games on the Download) Golden Sun is easily one of the best JRPG's ever made. The game play. Music, and story were all top notch. Not to mention the Art and the Summons. Felix Summoned Catastrophe! oh god i love this game.
Felix is better the 2nd is for him and should be him using sols blade He can also use Excalibur well, but Isaac suck at Excalibur But.. Isaac excels more in sols blade from my test Out of 10 rounds against doom dragon Isaac can summon Megiddo 7/10 while Felix can only do 3 or 5 at best But if Felix has lower agility in my data, he can unleash Megiddo 6-8/10 and Isaac can either release 5-8/10 no matter what agility This just show that Isaac is the main character of the entire series and its kinda sh1tty how I balance them both yet Isaac is superior in anything, its like Camelot designed Isaac to be the MC but Felix is still my choice hehe

That's strange , in my case everytime Felix used a turn , he always get Legend x4 rather than Megiddo , Isaac is the reverse , everytime he unleashes Legend he only got 1 time , yet he spammed Megiddo like it was nothing lol

If Felix is an echo , i would love him have a different Smashes. Like , Isaac casts Judgment , while Felix casts Catastrophe. For down smash , Isaac uses Megiddo , Felix uses Legend. For up smash , Isaac uses Rising Dragon , Felix uses Purgatory.
I still prefer Isaac's theme song, and Isaac and Matthew, but Felix was always sick as fuck. Sucks they had the same Psychic movepool. I understand Odyssey, but Felix looked more like a Psychic body enhancer and should have ad Helm Splitter instead of Ragnarok, and Demon Night over Gaia Psynergies, giving them similar effects but different moves.
This is the reason why i give Felix Darksword contrary to Isaac's Sol Blade. Too bad it's unleash kinda sucks tho , so i switched to Excalibur and getting Legend, he practically unleashes Legend everytime it's released lmao Also , Felix is meant to use dark type psynergies ( light and dark is earth type in this game )
I'm wondering if you insert a GBA game into the GBA slot and the DS game into the DS slot it unlocks something? (when golden sun DS comes out) I'm keeping a 100% file just to be safe ^^= Then again, a team of lv 99's with optimal equips may make the game too easy if it's character transferable...
+Raptor Lewis 1: Cool the h8, m8. 2: Isaac is not pompous and self-important. And he was only uptight from the Jupiter Lighthouse to Contigo. Self-important? When was he ever self-important? He never stole any credit from anyone and looked after his comrades. Isaac was also a very good leader, everyone in the entire group respected him. Every time they were faced with a dilemma, they always looked to Isaac! Jenna DID end up with someone who could lead. And Isaac TRIED to be the best he could be as well, he worked all day studying psynergy for 3 years after that incident with the Mt. Aleph boulder. And of course Isaac had training, even though his was much later than Felix's. By the time they got to Venus Lighthouse, Felix said he was no match for Isaac! And you seem to be forgetting how Felix acted in the first game as well. Every time he met Isaac in the first game, he acted like a villain at times, and didn't even explain why he was lighting the beacons. He pretty much forced Isaac and co. to label him as their enemy. And what do you mean, "Felix is the only one who could actually think?"

This is the reason why i give Felix Darksword contrary to Isaac's Sol Blade. Too bad it's unleash kinda sucks tho , so i switched to Excalibur and getting Legend, he practically unleashes Legend everytime it's released lmao
Also , Felix is meant to use dark type psynergies ( light and dark is earth type in this game )

I'm wondering if you insert a GBA game into the GBA slot and the DS game into the DS slot it unlocks something? (when golden sun DS comes out)

Then again, a team of lv 99's with optimal equips may make the game too easy if it's character transferable...

+Raptor Lewis 1: Cool the h8, m8. 2: Isaac is not pompous and self-important. And he was only uptight from the Jupiter Lighthouse to Contigo. Self-important? When was he ever self-important? He never stole any credit from anyone and looked after his comrades. Isaac was also a very good leader, everyone in the entire group respected him. Every time they were faced with a dilemma, they always looked to Isaac! Jenna DID end up with someone who could lead. And Isaac TRIED to be the best he could be as well, he worked all day studying psynergy for 3 years after that incident with the Mt. Aleph boulder. And of course Isaac had training, even though his was much later than Felix's. By the time they got to Venus Lighthouse, Felix said he was no match for Isaac! And you seem to be forgetting how Felix acted in the first game as well. Every time he met Isaac in the first game, he acted like a villain at times, and didn't even explain why he was lighting the beacons. He pretty much forced Isaac and co. to label him as their enemy. And what do you mean, "Felix is the only one who could actually think?"

That's fair enough, but Megaman was already an established franchise, whereas Golden Sun was completely brand new, and awesome.
