During the 18th century traffic and congestion was a serious problem in London and other places with narrow medieval streets. No cars, but there were a lot of pedestrians and carts in the streets along with a lot of accidents. I believe that in the US they were aware of this and decided to make streets wider for safety reasons and other reasons, e.g. so that a horse and cart could do a u-turn more easily.

@@marekonbike9291 That is good to know. The 450L is double the price and requires much more maintenance. That is not for me. I have always wanted a Honda version of the DR-Z400. I am a large fellow -220lbs. I loved everything about the CRF250L, except for the power output.
Yes, agree. I am 198lb and if I took my wife as pinion the power would be missing :) It's just for single person. And also the suspension would need sorting out for pinion riding.
I am in British Columbia - I put a deposit for the Rally model yesterday. The dealer is getting 6 of them in April [ expected ] and I got number 6 - dont wait.
I will order rally, wants some more wind protection and led lights. I’m riding all year round on the bikes. Good commuting bike. Are the wheels tubed or tubeless?
I enjoyed the ride! Still waiting in the U.S. My dealer said late June. I've been thinking about the Rally version for me. The bigger tank and windscreen would be nice for my riding needs. Have you been off road yet?
Have been offroad today. Just downloading the video for upload... Rally is noce, I just was OK with the L. The one think I would like is the larger tank...
You need your microphone inside your helmet to cut the wind noise or get an external microphone with a long wire and put it inside your jacket. Your voice wont be heard but the motorcycle will be.
I come from Tenere 660 Z. Which was great bike, but felt heawy for what I want to do with it. Going from Tenere 700, the power will be significantly less. but hey, 27HP, my first bike had 5HP and I had great time with it too :)
Ive been thinking about getting one of these as my first bike, but I’m 5‘7 and have no idea if I’d flat foot it or if that would be the right size for me at all
Hi, I've done only 20miles in that first ride and did not have chance yesterday. Did not hear any rattling so far but now that you mentioned it I will watch out for it... In terms of the exhaust, so far nothing there...
@@marekonbike9291 one person in the UK has experienced that so I thought I would mention .. maybe due to Euro 5 settings Check with your dealer if you can have a re-map of the ECU when it is available Apparently a ore-ignition issue

The 660r is stronger. Depends if you want to do 70miles fully loaded on motorway, then the 300L will be lacking a bit at the top speed, under 60mph will be ok.

Everytime I watch a motorcycle review in england I cant believe how narrow country roads are.
And these weren't the best of it neither 😂

Nice bike and review. Leaning towards KLX 300 for the suspension and bit more HP. Both look solid!
Yes, If KLX300 was in UK I would like to test drive it. These were mine two candidates. KLX and CRF.
It's such a nice motorcycle.
The driving video is really fun and cool.

Ordered mine January 22nd and am hearing it may be first of June before it arrives at the dealership
Uff, I am sorry to hear that. Lots of delays now. I was lucky, ordered just a week before you.
Wow! At first I thought those wires were an aftermarket windscreen!
Yes, they are huge, but when you ride, you dont mind them... looks odd though I agree

Hi, Rally is a great bike. In terms of the tubes I believe they are tubeless, but not sure.
Can’t wait for mine to show up at the end of April! For now I ride my 450RL which is nice but for single track I can’t wait for the 300L. Nice job. 😀

Sure is! Not much wrong with it.

Unfortunately CRF300L is not sold in Japan. CRF250L is sold in Japan, but I want CRF300L!
Considering that you are close to Thailand it's strange. So do you have some alternatives Kawi 300? Or Yamaha WR250?
