Nothing like riding dirt bikes! Awsome ride, great group. I'm hoping by 85 I can like this. At 74 that another 11 years! Thanks Buster, you're a bad ass legend....
Can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed your video especially Buster and his daughter. I'm 74 and will be doing an extended off road trip with my daughter in a couple of months. Buster has been an inspiration for me to say the least. I often wonder how long I will last and Buster has set a bar for me. I'll be checking your channel and hope to see more of Buster the legend. Thanks so much for posting.
I'm sure I've met Buster, maybe Claire as well, at the Hardy LDT a few years ago. Riding at that age is really encouraging. How do people like the CRF300L compared to the 250?
Thanks for the video guys! It makes the wait for us Americans a little more bearable. 85 years old thats awesome! Have you found a new shock for your rear suspension yet?
Fun to watch - Hello from western Canada - we have similar trails but also mountains which means up or down steep as well. I have a 300 Rally on order. They are mot available in Canada yet .... but soon.
great run, and your 82 yr old friend was fun to watch too. look forward to more! I have a deposit in on one, right now they are saying mid May ish for an eta
I like Buster's ride. I have a 300l rally on it's way and should have it by the end of the month. I may get a lower seat for mine depending how comfortable I feel on it. I would like to be flat foot on it but not sure until I get first hand sight of it. I can almost flat foot on the 2020 250L rally. Fun times :)
Why does it sound so different? Doesn’t really sound like a dirtbike, sounds like a car with a messed up fan or engine, also can u mud in it like full on stuck in deep mud?
Do you feel there’s enough low end torque to wheelie with ease? I’m used to higher performance bikes of late but used to ride my ttr 125 and have a dr 650 but want something in between. I rode the crf250L in Thailand and thought it lacked a little ‘oomf’
@@DirtnTrail boom lolz I think I already watched it actually d’oh I think I was looking for kinda less off the shelf stuff, but I’ll go rewatch it cheers
How many miles you can do with this bike, before open up engine? How often to change piston, cylinder, to do valves clearance and so on. I am asking, because in poor countries, you cannot afford changing parts every few weeks. That is why DRZ, DR or old KLR are popular.
We are actually Somerset, bit ride all over. Height is fine for me at 6ft, says a lot when you actually get aboard it. Happy to go for a ride anytime if you're in the area 👍
@@beachamboy11 yes sir. In NC. Mine was scheduled for 4/29 but last checked two weeks ago and now it’s last week of May. Sure it’s changed again. Need to check tomorrow and I’ll try and let you know. You waiting as well?
@@lukefish7562 I don’t have a date. I need to call and check. And I’ll ride it stock for a little bit just to figure out what exactly I want to mod, if anything.

It needs input but will wheelie easily if you know how. I'm used to much higher powered bikes bit for trails etc it is enough. We'd suggest trying one to see if it's enough for you 👍

Brilliant video just like Buster we’ve got a Ron, again 85 still leading ride outs another absolute legend
Love the shout out to Buster! We all need to aspire to his greatness! Fantastic and thanks again.
This is the type of content I search for, but all I get are the review videos. Great stuff!
Hats off to the 85 year old, well done, fantastic.

Fun day, ‘eh?

My new CRF300L Rally should be arriving next month.
Happy Trails
Nice trip! Love my Beta Alp 200 too because its so quiet when i explore lost places.
Amazing group, no ego just out for fun and wow 85 years old, hats off you are a legend... A true legend. Where are you based?
South West UK👍
Good videos guys I was looking at the CRF or the KTM 390 not sure which yet, I’m in the south west myself so hopefully catch you guys up
Let us know your choice, if you'd like to ride together do let us know 👍
that old dude rode away with stand down 5.35😂
When you're 85 you're stand will be down all the time also
85 on motorcycle: new goal ! Thanks 🙏 Ride safe

keen on one to but only thing I don't like about them is weight my xr250 is nearly 30 kilos lighter 😬
@@jamiebra92 I’ve decided to buy a drz 400 E from fear of being bored of the crf in 6 months time
@@sammactier4208 I'll probably go xr400 honestly once bike prices go back to normal everyone seems to think everything has covid tax atm 😑
I like the music! Who is it for the intro pls?
Any chance you can do a little bio on Buster,I would love to know how long he’s been riding and how he got started 👍🏻👍🏻
See what we can do 👍
85 !! How good is that 😲👍👍👍👍👍👍
Had the 250L underpowered and under sprung, got the 450L....best decision i made
Love your vids, I'd like to see what mods are possible for the 300L.
Check out our mods video!

Service at first 600 miles, next service is 8000! Perfect if you don't want much maintenance 👍
@@DirtnTrail I am asking about changing parts not an oil. After how many miles to do top engine and bott?. Also does it has a cooling fan on radiator?
I am seriously considering a 300l... My 250l was great but not built for my height... wonder how good the 300l is for me..

It's very similar. I'm 196 cm and I find it just fine but standing up is a bit of a hassle (everything is stock at the moment).
where are you riding? would be nice to know where those trails are!

Why do u fall down? it easy track...
Bash plates, lever guards, dudes. Yr just waiting for bills otherwise and drama if u loose a clutch lever
