When port forwarding on Fios with their new router, I had to provide an original port and the port that's forwarded to, for anyone seeing this, put the same port in both, so for Enshrouded, you'd put 15636-15637 in both slots; that almost did my head in since I have 0 knowledge about servers.
To add to someones comment if you get to the step where you cant see your dedicated server from steam favorites. Close it and Open the .exe File you can find it by right clicking the game in steam and going to local files. and Run the dedicated server then you should see it in the enshrouded game server list
Alright so I got everything set up, but when I press connect in the steam server interface it doesn't launch the game and my server doesn't appear on the list. It says the app id specified by the server is invalid.

My problem is that after setup, I can find and join the server without issue. However, when my wife gets online, she can not find it. Steam doesnt even give the "+" symbol to add it manually.

The copy and paste into Windows Powershell isn't working for me. I'm in the admin one where I get Windows System 32 but that was so fast in your tutorial and it blinked real quick. your lines aren't visble

In this case, he only can play in the session with my steam invite and i need to be online of course. With that in mind, what are the benefits of doing like you say instead?
so basically all you have to do is be a junior network engineer. Honestly if you can configure this process with ease, you should apply for a network engineer role.
If your enshrouded server is not visable. Use the batfile that you have made. Shutdown the server and restart the bat file. It will update the server and then its visable again :)
Thanks but How set me as admin and which admin commands can i use? See players list, kick/ban, teleport, invencible, fly, ghost, spawn itens, spawn enemies, change weather, change daytime etc? Thanks!!!!
For whoever that was doing everything right but still not working, load the enshrouded_server.exe file from the file explorer and not the "Enshrouded Dedicated Server" from Steam. It should work.

Change port in the "Game Servers" to 15637 instead of 15636. This fixed the issue for me.

for people having same problem: you have to launch the server from the executable directly NOT from steam.

you can keep the server online even if you are not in game by just having the server running in the background and your pc turned on of course.

You can have it constantly running. Meaning, my friends can play on our shared world even if my character isn't logged in.

Such a good video, however first step is missing for me - I do not have enshrouded_server.json in my directory.
you need to start the server once, and close it, before that file is generatet :)
