At this point in her role as singer, she had only been with them for 10 months. Wacken was her first big time festival as singer. This was show #46 on this tour for Floor
Marko was singing together with Floor on the Single version of After Forevers „Face your Demons" back in 2004 🫶
Heh, I learn something new every day.
I knew they sang together as guests at Delain concert, but didn't know their first meeting.
The NW guys sure had their angel right there on stage and it showed! For many in the crowd, Floor needed no further introduction (ppl knew her from ReVamp & After Forever), but it was still a fitting moment for Marko to proudly present their sister in metal.
As tt crowd surfing, stage diving, sotf mosh pitting.. did all of it. Even stage dived with my drumkit one day. I'd forgotten to anchor the pedal of the bass drum. So off it went and I went after it, standing up, improvising a solo on toms and whatever else I could hit. Bandmates laughing their freakin' @sses off. I can still hear the roar of the crowd, all 22 of them, when I fell into the abyss. Kept playing all the way down 😁 Cheers from Amsterdam! 🤘

We played the worst kind of Dutchie speed-funk. It was so bad that e.g. in Germany ppl mistook us for trve wiking avant-gardists and actually paid handsomely to see us perform. Funny thing is that it was all in Dutch, but nobody seemed to care 😂

Good job, Not there 1st time singing together . Floor joined them on tour with them for 10 months before this show. her 1st time was in Seattle Wash in Oct 2012 . this was there biggest show at this point
I think Floor and Marko sang together when Floor was in After Forever too, "back in the day"...or was it with both guest singing with the group Delain?

This is about 8 months after she joined, its not the first time they've sang together. You could find videos of the early days with Floor still getting use to the lyrics with help from her Kamelot friends on stage, how time flys.
As others have said, this wasn't their first performance together - what it was though, was Floor's big introduction to the European fans, their main fanbase. If you watch "Please Learn the Setlist in 48 hours", you'll see their gigs in the Americas earlier in the tour, were much smaller than this. There's a performance of "Ghost Love Score" on UA-cam that's from much earlier in the tour (Buenos Ares 2012, I think) when she had been with them literally a couple of weeks. You can see a few women crying, and I saw that at Wacken too - they were so moved and emotional by how absolutely perfect she is for the band.
Nightwish realised that they had an angel, and she was singing.
This wasn't the first time they sang together. Floor joined NW about 10 months prior to this concert.
Oh Debby, I love your sound effects. In 2013 I was still too young for crowdsurfing. My first time was in 2018... and of course I made the typical beginner's mistake for girls - I was wearing a leather mini 🤭. So my good advice to all the girls out there - never ever wear a mini while crowdsurfing!!! 😅🤘🤘

14 months ago I was introduced to Nightwish and Floor having not heard of them previously. Firstly "The Poet and the Pendulum" live from Wembley, London 2015 followed by this mind blowing performance and the whole of Wacken 2013. Phenomenal. My musical world has been turned upside down and inside out. Thank you Debbie 🙏😊👍❤️

This song was introduced to my Mom during Tarja time. She loved it and bought their CD. I loved Phantom. Lost trak of the band till last year with my first time watching any reaction video to GLS. Greatest band and singer/s.

Happy Mothers Day Debbie. I'm not one who usually corrects those I love watching, but this was not Floor"s 1st concert with Nightwish. Wacken open air 2013 was actually the last concert of Floor"s 1st tour with Nightwish. One thing that is 💯 true, is this was the largest audience Floor had ever sang in front of in her life up to this point.

Hey Debbie, I also read that he wrote it because they were hitting on his girlfriend and trying to pick her up with him standing right there and they didn't care. You can hear in the lyrics and the vocalizations the male is the aggressive one looking for a conquest and the female is the innocent one.

Great Tarja era song, But...for me, this song needed stronger Umpf, and thanks to Floor, now this song has full Valhalla Power behind it.
Also,...This song Featured on the soundtrack of the movie "Alone in the Dark", and it became the group's most popular single in Europe and in the United States, next to "Nemo". It made it onto two U.S. film soundtracks. It reached #60 in the UK Singles Chart, the highest of any of the band's singles in the UK.

Heads up with Floor joining NightWish. After the 2nd singer just up and left NightWish they found Floor. The 2nd singer just up and left when they were on tour when they found Floor real quick she had 48 hrs to learn the songs and the set list when they went on set. Can you imagine 48 hrs to learn things. In her interview about this it showed her with ear phones in riding on tour bus singing to the songs. Wild interview. It takes a well genius concentrated mind to do that.
We are all glad she join NightWish she made them more poplar then before. Tera was good but Floor made them GREAT.
TARJA made them amazing… Without Tarja you would have never heard from Nightwish. And btw most singers are able to learn a set list in 48 hours…It’s not such a thing…🤷🏻♂️
@@HelMut3103It would have helped if Tarja had a more pleasant voice to listen to. I liked Theatre of Tragedy, Tristania and After Forever way more back then. If you ask me, Tarja has a voice you either love or hate. For me it unfortunately never worked.

Good song. I like the original, studio/official version with Tarja ... she captures the seductress-side of this tune... and Marco hangs from the rafters like a bat (or so it seems). Has a darker side to it, a darkness which has a bit of Bram Stoker or Bela Lugosi in it.

First Time (don't get me started) This was Floor's first European concert. She had been with the band for about 10 months, and most of the venues were in N/S America and a few in the UK.
