My bit broke off in my anvil and I couldn’t get it out. I went to the Dewalt service center and they was going to charge me $85 plus tax to replace the anvil. That was a NO GO!! I bought the anvil with new washers, springs, and ball bearing from them. Watched your video and repaired it for $15. Thanks 🙏🏿 man.
Best video I have seen on repairing a DeWalt 1/4" chuck. Clearly shows the correct placement of the ball bearing and keeper spring..

You didn't put any grease on the gears where it was dry and why not clean the whole tool?

i think so, dewalt is good but not as good as makita, makita even has been compared to metabo, but still in term of quality (not technology) is better makita and of course is more affordable

A bit more lubricant on the anvil shaft where it goes through the front housing would probably have been a good idea.

Hello, I have a problem with Dewalt DCF894 brushless. The impact driver is 3 years old and I noticed that he lost power when loosening the screws. Even if I tighten the bolt, moments after I can't unscrew it with an impact wrench. Any ideas?

Because manufacturer not put grease there. Grease gets dust inside and hold them there...

Little long....try speeding someparts up or cut out some of steps. Dont need to see how every screw needs to be removed or screwed back in. Try using paper towels to clean parts not paper. Its a bit loud on the ears plus paper towels will do better job.
